For increasing your stamina few diet tips - not to eat fried food items and can eat all green vegetables, moong, chana, dal, rice etc and to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati and to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day and if possible eat eggs on alternate days and if possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla and eat seasonal fruit.

I have been dealing with sleep problems. Doctor told me that it's due to miscarriage hormonal imbalance has occurred and he had prescribed me prothiaden antidepressants. M feeling fine now. But get angry sometimes. I do all my work without any problems. Shall I taper the dose and stop. As m planning to conceive.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent neck pains. If you have localized neck pain with no other symptoms like radiating upper limb pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your neck while working and sleeping and especially following principles of neck ergonomics - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. We will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of neck region and few blood tests for evaluation. Dear Much of the research quoted by our specialist is done in the West where fat in food indicates non Veg fat. Veg oils, seed oils do not have cholesterol like non Veg fats. Exercise regularly including stretching, yoga and exercises by lying on back. Do not sit at one place for longer time, avoid bending and lifting heavy weight. You should take light food as much as summer. Take butter milk, coconut water, curd, raita, sugarcane juice, lemon juice. You should prefer water content fruits like water melon, musk melon, papaya, oranges, mosambi. Include more salad in your food. Avoid junk food. Drink more water in a day.
