Hamstring Stretch Lie on your back with your left leg flat on the floor. Loop a towel or rope around your right foot and pull your leg as far as comfortable toward your chest, while keeping a slight bend at the knee. Keep your back pressed to the floor throughout the stretch. Hold for 10 to 30 seconds and then release. Repeat 3 or 4 times with each leg. Do this stretch 5 or 6 times a week. Short-Arc Knee Extensions In the same starting position as the straight-leg raises, put a ball (about the size of a basketball) under your left knee so that your leg is bent. Slowly straighten your leg. Hold, then slowly lower. Repeat with your right leg. Exercises To Avoid A few of the following exercises can be done safely if you have chronic knee problems; they're on this list because they're more likely to be done improperly. The exercises above are safer, while still giving you similar results. •Full-arc knee extensions •Lunges •Deep squats •Hurdler's stretches.

Dear user. Glossophobia or speech anxiety is the fear of public speaking or of speaking in general. Various treatment options are available to treat glossophobia. Certain drugs such as beta blockers may be used to help people relax before speaking in public. Complementary therapies such as hypnosis, meditation or psychotherapy can be quite beneficial in helping you to overcome glossophobia. I suggest online counseling and hypnotherapy. Take care.

Pain in anus of male partner on next day of sex has no relation to sex. You get examined your anal canal you might he suffering from either fissure fistula or piles any other disease of anal canal.

Home remedies for itchy scalp 1. Tea tree oil- the best home remedy for itchy scalp for centuries, tea tree oil has been used for dandruff, dry hair and itchy scalp and not in vain! the component terpinen-4-ol gives tea tree oil its strong antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties. It kills the fungus and bacteria that cause over production of skin cells leading to dandruff. It also clears clogged hair follicles to relieve you of an itchy scalp. Ways to use tea tree oil for itchy scalp 1. If you can stand the strong composition of tea tree oil, use it undiluted. Take 5-10 drops of this oil and gently massage into your scalp. 2. If your skin is too sensitive, dilute tea tree oil with some baby shampoo. Add 10-20 drops of tea tree oil to 1/2 cup of baby shampoo. Use this daily to wash your scalp and hair till you get rid of itchy scalp. 3. You can even massage diluted tea tree oil to your scalp. Add 2-3 drops of tea tree oil to 1 tablespoon of any carrier oil like jojoba, olive, coconut, or almond oil. Massage your scalp with this daily. Leave the oil mixture for 1-2 hours before you wash off hair with a mild shampoo. 4. If you want even easier method, buy tea tree oil shampoo, especially when your itchy scalp has started giving lots of trouble due to dandruff. When you apply this shampoo to your scalp, wait at least for one minute before washing it off with water. Use it daily or every other day to cure itchy scalp. 5. You can also make a tea tree oil rinse. Add 5-10 drops of tea tree oil in water enough to rinse your scalp and hair. After shampooing, wash your hair with this water. Use this water as the last rinse. You can use normal water to properly wash away the shampoo and then use this tea tree oil mixed water.

Hi lybrate-user if your belly is lowering your self-confidence and giving you sleepless nights, here are the tips to give you flatter and fitter tummy. 1. Add fiber to your diet constipation distends your belly, add veggies and fruits to your daily diet to relieve you of constipation, reduce intakes of refined cereals like maida, noodles, pasta and whole grains instead add dalia and oats. This would relieve you of constipation and bloat to give you a flat tummy. 2. Decrease sodium intake sodium retains water in the body and hence your belly swells up, reduce intake of junk food as it contains a lot of sodium. Stop adding extra salt to dishes, also packaged and processed food contains a lot of salts so better avoid it. 3. Increase potassium foods rich in potassium help you get rid of balancing sodium, fruits are very good source of potassium, adding them to their daily diet not only provides this nutrient but also increase the fiber content of your daily intake 4. Avoid sugar alcohols we do not completely digest these low-calorie sweeteners usually found in flavoured low-calorie drinks, diabetic and sugar-free foods. Bacteria in a large intestine ferment during gas and distension so check food labels and avoid sorbitol, xylitol and lacitol. 5. Increase liquids drinking plenty of liquids helps flush out toxins from the body. Keep yourself hydrated with at least 8 glasses of water, also include lassi, coconut, water, lemon water in your daily routine. Make sure to include homemade soups only, as packaged soups are not that nutritious and contain added sodium in them. 6. Carbonated beverages and alcohol these give you extended bellies and your dream of flat tummy falls flat. Alcohol gives you empty calories with zero nutrition. 7. Probiotic curds include low fat curd in your diet regime as it contains live bacteria which tame bloating by increasing intestinal motility. 8. Method of cooking no doubt salads and sprouts are good for our health but if experience distension with them then saute, blanch or steam them also fried foods are best to be avoided not only because of their high-calorie content but also because frying leads to changes in oil composition which may result in bloating. 9. Avoid chewing gums and candies while chewing them air enters our digestive system, giving us feeling of bloating, also candies are zero in nutrition but contain loads of calories. Also, eat slowly as gulping down increases air passage to the digestive system 10. Individual tolerances some individuals are more intolerant to certain foods like radish, capsicum, tea, cauliflower etc, so with your own personal experience omit them from your diet.

I am diabetic since 1998. My age is 65, blood sugar about 130 fasting and about 200 after meal. At present I take glypride 2mg bd, roimet 850> bd, pioz 15 od. Wether pioz is banned or it may be continued. Please advice

DEAR Lybrate USER …. You have to follow some basic things, so that you get better results in a short period of time …. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day …2) try to take liquid diet as per your body strength for 1-3 days only…. 3) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 4) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal…5) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods…. 6) avoid late night sleeping habits …. 7) do exercise regularly in form of walking, jogging, running, cycling, aerobics. For 15-30 minutes as per your strength…. A) Take 30 ml of aloe vera juice along with 30 ml of bhrungarajasava and 30 ml of lukewarm water, at night before sleep. B) take 10 ml of fresh lemon juice and 10 gm of jaggary before meals. C) eat 5 gms of black cumin seeds along with 30 ml of lukewarm water after meals. Do all these things for 30 days…it gives you good result. Consult to me for further suggestions…. THANKS…

It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight. Management: 1.Take 1 glass of Luke warm water with lemon juice and honey in the morning daily. 2.Drink at least 2 litters per day. Lukewarm water is best for drinking. 3.Avoid cold drinks and alcoholic drink like beer as they contain more calories. 4.Don't skip meals. Avoid heavy meals. Take light meals. 5.Must have 3 main meals per day – In between main meals take fruits & green salads. 6.Eat seasonal fruits & Fresh vegetables. Fruits and vegetables contain fibres to help you feel full quickly. 7.Avoid sweets, oily, spicy, junk food, chocolates. 8.Eat more whole grains and cut carbohydrates. Choose proteins instead of fatty ones. 9.Cut salt from your diet. 10.Eat home foods. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 11.Avoid sedentary and lazy lifestyle. 12.Take small frequent breaks for a quick walk in between as sitting for long hours together encourages the accumulation of fat in the body. 13.Do regular exercises daily. Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Brisk walking for 15-30 minutes daily is good. Jogging, running, swimming & cycling are good options.

Hi you need a proper balanced diet enriched with high protien, I advice a protein powder like protinex/ensure 2 scoops twice a days with lukewarm water/ d. T milk. We can not recommend you any steroid which are not safe & not given without prescription by doc.
