Well in changing weather headache and fever is a common problem facing by lots of people but my only worry is almost everyone go for antibiotic medicines and are unaware of the side effects these medicines have in your case also you have fever headache watery eyes and nose and sneezing. The problem is nothing but a simple cold and flu. I am prescribing you a natural remedies to treat your problem now what you have to do you have to take 15 leaves of shyam tulsi and 5 grams ginger and 1 leaves of bitter nem now make a paste of all the three things and put in hundred ml water and boil for 7 to 8 minutes then refine (chaan le) it and drink the herbal tea. Your problem will be cured in 2 days but you have to drink this herbal tea for 30 days regularly twice a day one in morning empty stomach and one in evening 3 hours after your lunch apart from that do hot water gargle and put 5 grams of rock salt in it. Other additional natural remedy is that you have to take one tablespoon honey and 2 to 3 gram of mashed ginger and eat it thrice a day. You can also do steam twice a day when you put water in your schema also put along with it 4 to 5 grams ajwain in it. For one week avoid direct air from air conditioner air cooler and make sure when you are sleeping your head is in south direction.

Doctor, I have been bitten by dengue mosquitoes, what should I do? Please help me.

AUTLS, CCEDM, MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
General Physician, Faridabad
Doctor, I have been bitten by dengue mosquitoes, what should I do? Please help me.
get yourself investigated by lab if u develop fever..not every bite results in dengue fever.. The principal symptoms of dengue are: High fever and at least two of the following: Severe headache/Severe eye pain (behind eyes) Joint pain/Muscle and/or bone pain Rash or Mild bleeding manifestation (e. G, nose or gum bleed, petechiae, or easy bruising) Watch for warning signs as temperature declines 3 to 5 days after symptoms/fever began, as this is the most dangerous period when platelet counts decline significantly. Report immediately to hospital if any of the following warning signs appear: Severe abdominal pain or persistent vomiting Red spots or patches on the skin Bleeding from nose or gums Vomiting blood Black, tarry stools (feces, excrement) Drowsiness or irritability Pale, cold, or clammy skin Difficulty breathing There is no specific medication for treatment of a dengue infection. Persons who think they have dengue should use analgesics (pain relievers) with acetaminophen (crocin or dolo -650 mg) and avoid those containing ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin or aspirin containing drugs. Take rest, drink plenty of fluids like coconut water, lime water etc. To prevent dehydration.

Hello allergy and infection are 2 different entities. In case she has had an insect bite, it is most likely to be allergic in nature, and this will require anti allergic eye drops if the interior of the eye is involved. Externally you can start ice/ cold water compresses for immediate relief but pls visit an eye surgeon. Sometimes the swelling in the allergy can have a superadded infection. These conditions require medications after examining by an ophthalmic surgeon.

Hello lybrate-user, A old calcified upper lobe lesion in Indian context suggests an old healed lesion of tuberculosis. You may not have an history because your natural immunity may have taken care of the same while you were young. As most countries have been successful in eliminating TB in there countries from being a public hazard, They avoid anyone with such a possibility. No treatment required for the same medically. You may consult your doctor for way out of it and possibilities.

I am not able to sleep whole night. Even if I try. I have tried nutmeg. Different types of medical. Nothing works for...
Follow these simple steps to ensure a good sleep every night and stay away from sleep disorders and other health problems associated with unhealthy sleep habits: 1) maintain a regular sleep routine go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every night of the week. A good sleep hygiene routine promotes healthy sleep and daytime alertness. 2) avoid sleeping during the daytime. It can disturb the normal pattern. 3) avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol near bedtime. While alcohol may speed the onset of sleep, it creates problems in he second half of sleep. 4) exercise can promote good sleep. Exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. Yoga, can be done before bed to help. 5) have a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Set your bedroom thermostat at a comfortable temperature. Generally, a little cooler is better than a little warmer. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background'white noise' like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress. 6) avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. 7) ensure adequate exposure to natural light. 8) avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Do not think of, or bring your problems to bed. 9) stop using all your digital devices and stop looking at digital screens be it mobile phones or televisions at least 1 hour before the time you plan to sleep. Instead try reading a fiction book near bedtime so it makes you help relaxed and de-stressed. Sleep well live healthy and live longer.
