Hello, the smell is due to old dead endometrial tissue and this can be prevented by keeping teh vagina clean with vaginal washes.

Dear lybrate-user, kindly do not panic. Periods or otherwise termed as menstrual cycle is hormonal in control. Hence, all your mental factors like stress, tension, sadness, excitement, etc can cause disturbances in the same. As a result, there is possibility of delay in periods. Can you please suggest any detoxification programs for a smoker who has quit smoking after smoking for 4 years considering a rate of 3-4 cigarettes a day. Reason of quitting is increase in blood pressure I am following diet to control blood pressure, I have quit smoking but I want to detoxicate my body as well. Always go for a complete medical check-up to find out that all body functions are normal. You can adopt the following measures for a general recovery and the measures you ae taking for your BP will also help this process: The tobacco tar in cigarette smoke lines your lung with huge patches that make that portion dysfunctional. Your oxygen carrying capacity is jeopardized, and breathing is impinged on. But don’t be discouraged because it is not too late even now to reverse all the ill-effects of smoking. I don’t know what other organs could be damaged but do go for a thorough medical check-up to assess the effects of your abuse. Regarding improving your lungs, do a lot of aerobic exercise breathing through your nostrils only. Then there are a lot of deep breathing exercises in Yoga which you can learn too. Deep breathing cleanses your system and lungs and restores it to good health. Deep breathing uses the 80% of the lungs which are not normally used in normal breathing and even when exerting yourself. The greatest effect is in the lungs because this substance is processed through the respiratory system directly through the lung surface. When quitting, you must take one day at a time; though you must give up all smoking at once, and promptly. If you look too far ahead you will get discouraged and will give up. If you sit and count the number of days you have given up, that will also focus too much on achievement. You must focus on the here and now, on that day to be precise. After all quitting is not that easy due to many factors. So even if you fail one day, you must try and try again. Very few people succeed in their first attempt. Your persistence will eventually pay off. The urge to discontinue is hampered by many factors but the worst of them is the conditioning. In fact, these conditions can exist all through the day, unlike other addictions. But your desire to want to stop is the most important factor. It is important to find out about the ill-effects of smoking to have a reason that alarms you about continuing the habit. The information is really scary but true and you must remind yourself about this every day. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heartbeat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. So you must avoid it like the plague: it is just very bad medicine for you. In fact, it is highly toxic too. You will need to stop smoking or consuming any tobacco related items with immediate effect. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. You may also take hard candy or chew gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine gums and nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces, substantially. You may also join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i.e. At least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here’s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world – you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest. You could also join twitter2quit program and enjoy its success to give up smoking.

1. Controlling your diet and exercising regularly is the key to losing weight. Taking the following could also help in accelerating the weight loss process: taking pranacharya medohar rasayan (1-1) twice a day; taking medohar guggul (2-2) twice a day; pranacharya slim capsule (1-1) twice a day. 2. It is advisable to avoid junk, fried, fermented or oily food. You should also avoid the intake of alcohol, sugar, dairy products. 3. You should increase the intake of oats and cereals. You should incorporate a walk of at least 45 minutes in your daily regime and prayanama every morning. It is advised not to sleep immediately after taking a meal.

It may be due vaginal infection. Keep clean and dry vaginal portion. Change underwear 2-3 times in a day wash that wit hot water. Apply anti fungal cream or gel on vaginal portion.

Hi. As height can be gained till 21yrs. Of age in males and 18yrs. In females, so you do have 6yrs. More to grow further! start taking homoeopathic medicines which are safe to take without any side-effects - bakson's hite-aid and five phos. - both thrice daily and thuja 1m/ one dose once a week - take them for 4 months. Management: take milk and milk products which contains more calcium. More of protein (for cell multiplication) like pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts, flaxseeds, non-veg, eggs, etc. Also, don't forget to take green vegetables, yellow veggies and fruits, seasonal fruits, salads, etc. Do skip rope daily, initially 10-20 times later gradually and slowly increase the frequency as per your capacity. Do get indulge in stretch exercises, and sports like basketball, volleyball. Last but not least, do take enough of rest and sleep (which helps in repairing of cells and cell rejuvenation). Eating out no matter what type of restaurant you choose is less healthy than staying home for meals, according to a new study.
A researcher at the University of Illinois analyzed 8 years of data involving more than 18,000 adults. He found that eating at a full-service restaurant is comparable to, or in some cases less healthy than, eating at a fast-food outlet. Eating out in general led to an average increase of nearly 200 calories per day. People who ate at traditional restaurants were found to consume about 58 grams more cholesterol per day than people who ate at home. Fast-food consumers also took in extra cholesterol, but only around 10 grams more than homebodies. As for sodium and total fat, both fast-food and restaurant diners saw increases in their daily intake. The researcher says his “advice to people hoping to consume a healthy diet and not overeat is that it is healthier to prepare your own foods, and to avoid eating outside the home whenever possible."

7 Causes For Irregular Periods And Why You Should Not Ignore Them

A missed period is one of the most common worries for women. When her menstrual cycle dates don?t match her marked calendar dates, there are a dozen of fears she is burdened with. Most women find a missed menstrual period occasionally. But when it happens twice in a row, it means it?s time to get yourself checked.
Taking a little extra time to check in with your body gives you the chance to recognize abnormalities. You can then take steps accordingly to effectively address them.
A normal menstrual cycle is of 28 days, plus or minus seven days. An irregular menstrual cycle is characterized either as an earlier than expected period or a later than expected period. It can also mean a skipped period or bleeding in between regular periods, heavier/ lighter menstrual flow than usual. The most common reasons for irregular monthly cycle are as below.
Excessive weight loss or gain: Weighing too much or too little affects a woman?s menstrual cycle. Too much weight gain can cause excess estrogen storage in fatty tissues. This then gets partially converted by the body to androgens leading to thinning of the uterine lining and decreased ovulation. Excessively low body weight interrupts many hormonal functions in the body, potentially halting ovulation. Strive for a healthy weight.
Stress: Stress can affect hormones and induce irregular periods. Extreme fatigue, worry or anxiety cause the hormones to become unbalanced. Excessive stress plays a role in suppressing the functioning of the hypothalamus. Hypothalamus, controls the pituitary gland that in turn controls the thyroid and adrenal glands and the ovaries, all of which work together to manage hormones. The side effects of ovarian dysfunction leads to irregular periods. Monthly periods are quite susceptible to dips and spikes in our emotions and our health. A sudden change in the way your brain reacts to stressed situations interferes with the hormonal productivity, leading to irregular estrogen and progesterone levels.
Intense Exercise: Regular exercise is good to maintain a healthy life. However, too much exercise can result in estrogen dominance thereby leading to irregular periods. Girls who are athletic and very active in sports normally face problems with their regular menstrual cycle. Athletic amenorrhea tends to be seen in women who participate in rigorous training exercises like long distance running, ballet, gymnastics, and figure skating.
Birth Control Pills ? they can make one?s periods lighter, or cause one to miss periods. The body takes sometime to adjust to the new levels of hormones delivered by hormonal birth control therefore leading to irregularity.
Chronic Illness ? Chronic illnesses such as Celiac disease, Crohn?s disease, cystic fibrosis, Tuberculosis, heart disease, uncontrolled diabetes may postpone menstrual periods by delaying ovulation.
PCOS ? It is a genetic condition that results from abnormal levels of certain hormones. Girls with PCOS typically have irregular menstrual cycles and may experience fewer than 9 menstrual cycles a year. Due to PCOS, the ovaries do not regularly ovulate and there are also a number of under-developed follicles in the ovaries. They have high levels of androgen (male hormones) which leads to excess hair growth, acne and often overweight.
Alcohol Abuse ? Long-term heavy drinking can cause women to have irregular periods or stop ovulating. Drinking alcohol causes hormonal imbalances and can affect the way the liver processes the hormones that are responsible for ovulation and menstrual regularity.
Many women miss periods now and then. If you?ve skipped a period, try to relax and firstly restore the emotional and physical balance of yourself. Unless you are pregnant, chances are your cycle will return to normal next month. However, if you miss it the second time or show symptoms of irregular periods along with symptoms like flushing, sweating, heat intolerance, heart palpitations, and sleeplessness immediately check with the doctor. Many menstrual problems could indicate undiagnosed thyroid conditions. They call for a thyroid evaluation by your physician.
Never ignore menstrual changes. Talk to your doctor without delay!

Precaution to have reduced saliva flow in mouth you have to maintain oral hygiene. Kindly ensure that you rinse after having meals. Brush twice a day, once in morning and after dinner and use listerine mouthwash twice a day morning and before going to bed. Visit your dentist once in six month for checkup and cleaning of teeth if required. For stomach pain you have to consult your family doctor.
