Hi waseem you seem to be too young to get hypertension. But it's not uncommon either. Whether you need to increase your dosage or not depends upon your bp level and not by your feeling weak or otherwise. Kindly get your bp checked and dose adjusted. You may have to reduce the dose also.

greetings the leg swollen is common in bp and over weight person.
Ask you mother to keep her legs above the hip level while sleeping and sitting with help of pillows to leg.
Ask her to control salt in food
ask her avoid salty food like dry fish, papad, pickles, chips, etc
ask her to go for walking 30 min daily.
Ask her to take the medication regularly.

Dear Lybrateuser,
-Chest pain at your age could be due to hyperacidity, stress, anxiety or sedentary habit
-avoid spicy, fried & junk food, have fresh homemade food, do not skip meals, keep your meal timings fixed, have 4-5 small meals including snacks rather than 3 large meals, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime, do not lye down immediately after meals
-have 7-8 glasses of water per day for proper digestion
-take syrup Gelusil, 2 teaspoonful 20 min after every meal
-do regular exercises like walking, jogging, swimming for 30 min, also do yoga & deep breathing exercises for 5-10 min in the morning to relieve stress & for good blood circulation
-keep yourself relaxed as getting excited can lead to pain
-also get your BP checked up, if not much relief then have to do investigations & consult a doctor.

Hi,
Follow these tips to increase your blood pressure:
1. Increase intake of salt by adding salt to curds rice and taking pickles along with curds rice.
2. Drink plenty of fluids like Nimbu pani, tender coconut, water, buttermilk, fresh fruit juices,etc.
3.Drink hot coffee or tea when you feel dizzy.
4. Take sound sleep for 7-8 hours at night.
5. Avoid standing for too long hours.
6. Do yoga and meditation which helps to relieve mental stress and control emotions.
7. Avoid anxiety, stress and depression.
8. Perform regular exercises.
9. Consume lots of fresh green leafy vegatables, fruits, sprouts, high protein diet, etc.
10. Check your Hb% and BP with your family doctor and take their advise for further management.

High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function.
Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke.
Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication .
Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney.
Change life style .do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress,take plenty of water in day time. And 1 glass of water before bed at night.
use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain.
Garlic,. Cod liver oil.
Take anti cholesterol medicines .

High blood pressure is a condition which occurs when the pressure of the blood flow through the arteries increases, resulting in intense pressure. Hypertension occurs when the systolic pressure (pressure at which the heart pumps blood) and the diastolic pressure (pressure at which the heart relaxes) is more than 140 and 90 respectively.
Symptoms of high blood pressure are:
- Shortness of breath: If you have high blood pressure, then you may experience regular shortness of breath.
- Headaches: You may experience headaches on a regular basis.
- Weakness of the heart muscles: Hypertension results in a weak heart which may not be able to pump blood properly.
- Narrowing of blood vessels: Narrowing of blood vessels may lead to other complications such as failure of the kidneys, heart, and brain.
- Vision problems: It may lead to vision problems as blood vessels in the eye may be affected.
The various causes of blood pressure are:
- Tobacco: If you smoke on a regular basis, you put yourself at an increased risk of getting affected by blood pressure.
- Lifestyle: Not exercising regularly, eating a sodium-rich diet are all factors which can increase the chances of hypertension.
- Age: The chances of getting affected by hypertension increase as you age.
- Weight: Being excessively obese also increases your risk of getting affected by hypertension.
- Diabetes: Being diabetic makes you more prone to getting affected by diabetes.
- Hyperthyroidism: If you have an overactive thyroid gland, then it may result in hypertension.
Hypertension may result in various health complications in the body such as:
- Aneurysm: This is a disorder of the blood vessels which causes the blood vessels to bulge and weaken.
- Heart attack: High blood pressure causes the arteries to harden and thicken which may lead to a heart attack.
- Metabolic syndrome: This syndrome refers to a group of complications such as high bad cholesterol levels and insulin levels in the body.

At this age high blood pressure generally develops because of stressfull life with irregular schedule inadequate sleep lack of exercise and eating junk food. You should modify your lifestyle to avoid all this. You should exercise regularly. Perform isotonic exercise like walking aerobic etc. Control fat and salt in diet. Drink adequate amount of water. Start meditation to relax your mind. If all these things don't help consult a physician/ cardiologist.

It might be hereditary if your parents or grandparents were hypertensive. It may also be caused by smoking/ obesity/ high intake of salt & processed foods/stress.
1. have 1 coconut water daily (without cream)
2. Replace your salt with rock salt & tata salt lite
3. Avoid table salt, processed & ready to eat, canned foods
4. Restrict egg intake to 2 times a week
5. Cut down salt in cooking, use flavour enhancers like lemon, vinegar, herbs, spices, condiments
6. Do some sort of exercise daily (brisk walk/ yoga) & be physically active
7. Have a positive attitude & reduce stress via meditation

Low cholesterol, low salt, light diet, lukewarm water drinking and I would suggest to take few herbal medicine and procedures parallel to your current treatment. Med of herbal nature won't interact with allopathy, no side effects. For example steaming of paralyzed part with water boiled with some herbs. Go for regular exercise, yoga, cycling, jogging whatever you like.
To have perfect relations with your wife, understand what she needs from you. Encourage her to express her feelings and needs and you also express your feelings and needs to her. Open communication, individual freedom of choice, faith, care and love make a healthy married relationship.
Also, please understand that if you want to have an" ideal" life, which will have less stress, no sadness and excellent relationships, then you are sure to be disappointed. Every other person in this world would like to have this. But this is not possible. We all will have some stress in life, we cannot be always happy, there will be sad moments in our life.
