I am 43 years old. I am suffering from hypertension and thyroid. Latest report of thyroid is t3 120 t4 11 and tsh 2.33 and I am taking thyrox 75 as medicine. Should I continue with the same or suggest me good medicine for thyroid.

you should be low dose of your medicines...high-carbohydrate foods such as potatoes, rice, pasta and bread, Nutrient-rich foods that improve your health may also benefit your thyroid gland, antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables more plenty of water: Blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, and other foods rich in antioxidants can improve overall health and benefit the thyroid gland. Eating foods high in B vitamins, like whole grains, may also help. flax oil, Selenium: Tiny amounts of selenium are needed for enzymes that make thyroid hormones to work properly. Eating selenium-rich foods, such as sunflower seeds or Brazil nuts, can be beneficial. Tyrosine: This amino acid is used by the thyroid gland to produce T3 and T4. Taking a supplement may help, Avoid few foods in hypothroidism i.e. caffeine products tea,coffee, tabcco, alcohol / wine , kale, broccoli, spinach, mustard green, cabbage, turnip, millet, cassava, linseeds, pine nuts, soy products as soy milk, tofu, soybeans, soy souce, also avoid stress. Hi, please follow these tips: 1. Drink 2-3 lts of water per day. 2. Consume lot of fibre in your diet like raw vegetabes, fruits, whole grains, oats. Etc. 3. Eat one fully ripe big banana at bed time. 4. Drink one glass of hot milk with one spoon of ghee in it at bedtime. 5. Take your food at regular intervals. Avoid spicy and oil fried food. 6. Never curb the urge to pass stools. 7. Never put in lot of pressure to pass stools. 8. Take 1tsf of isabgol powder with a glass of hot water at bedtime to get an easy evacuation. 9. Apply pilex ointment before and after passing stools. 10. Take tab arshonyt 1-1-1 for about a month and inform. 11. Do sitz bath twice daily.

My husband had a kidney transplant 14 years back, now since last 4 month, his feet are swollen and now even the legs. His uric acid is 9. 60.

Please consult your nephrologist. I do not know why you think uric acid is significant when he is having a breathing problem and swollen leges which is progressing. First, kidney function and heart checkup have to be done immediately.

Hye, Thanks for the query. You can improve your running stamina by following an effective training program and right nutrition. Step 1 Run more miles each week. You can increase your total running volume by increasing either the distance of each run or adding more runs. This allows your body to develop the systems needed to get more blood and oxygen to the muscles that are working. Step 2 Incorporate a resistance workout two to three times per week, focusing on all of the major muscles groups of the body. Resistance can come from free weights, machines, body weight or bands, depending on what is available. At a minimum, the strength program should include squats, push-ups and planks because the combination of these three exercises will strengthen all of the major muscles of the body. Increasing muscle strength and endurance trains the muscles to work longer before reaching fatigue and that translates to being able to run longer. Step 3 Consume a nutritious diet, high in carbohydrates, moderate in protein and low in fat to ensure you have enough energy to complete your run. The diet of a runner should be made up of 60 to 70 percent carbohydrates, 12 to 15 percent from protein and no more than 30 percent from fat sources. Runners must also focus on staying well hydrated, drinking water regularly throughout the day and before, during and after workouts.

You can go for following remedy it will help you take one table spoon of untamed rose hips, add a pair of glasses of boiling water, boil it for ten minutes and let it sit for 2-3 hours. Take 1/4 - 1/2 of the extract 3-4 times each day with honey. Mix one a part of fresh raw juice with one part of honey. Take 1/4 glass of the combination three times on a daily basis. Take one table spoon of untamed rose hips, add a pair of glasses of boiling water, boil it for ten minutes and let it sit for 2-3 hours. Take 1/4 - 1/2 of the extract 3-4 times each day with honey. My father age is 62 years and weight is 61 kg. In blood sugar test fasting sugar was found to be 117 ng (normal level 70-110 ng). Mr. Lybrate-user, blood sugar fasting 108 to 125 mg/100 ml and pp 141 to 199 mg/100ml is considered as pre- diabetes. There is no drug treatment advised. It is nice that you r aware of importance of breast feeding. Take care that baby is sucking well while on breast and it is not only nipple in mouth but areola, a blackish area around nipple, is in mouth. It is usual reason, look for it.
