Dear lybrate user, pimples/ acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which develops due to blocking of the hair follicles in skin. These blockages occur due to 4 abnormal processes: 1) excess sebum production due to androgens 2) excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation 3) infection of propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes) bacteria on the hair follicles 4) local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin. Neither can you stop the overproduction of androgen or keratin protein nor can you stop the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals because all these processes takes place internally in your skin. However you can stop the accumulation of p. Acnes bacteria on your skin by preventing your skin from getting oily. Always keep a handkerchief with you wherever you go outside. You should wipe off the slightest amount of sweat from your face as soon as you perspire on entering your room from outside wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing face wash. Take a low carbohydrate diet. Do some exercise daily. Drink a lots of water to avoid constipation. Avoid pricking the pimples or popping the sebum as it may lead to black pigmentation & permanent scar formation. You can also take homoeopathic calcarea phos 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach also you can apply homoeopathic mother tincture berberis aquifolium q on the dark spots on your skin which are produced after the resolution of the pimples.

What are the home remedies for pimples, blockades, skinnyoil how to growth beard, what are the diet to loss fat.
To prevent pimples, eating fresh fruits, green vegetables, drinking plenty of water should be an essential part of your routine and intake of oily fried foods, an excess of sugar-salt should be avoided. To begin with- Take fruit diet once in a week, which consist of fresh juice, fruits, coconut water and vegetable (green leafy). Warm water enema should be taken daily to clean the bowels and constipation. Take a balanced diet with an alkaline base, which consists of sprouted cereals, whole grain cereals and vegetables. Vitamin a, e and b can be used to treat acne. Green tea and walnuts help to keep your skin pimple free. Drinking 8-10 glasses of water every day is good for emission of toxin from the body. Always try to include low-fat dairy products in your meal. These are a good source of vitamin a. Some natural remedies to get rid of pimples:- Apply hot fomentation to open up skin pores and then rinse skin with cold water. Sun and air baths by exposing the whole body to sun and air are highly beneficial. A hot Epsom salt bath twice in a week will be highly beneficial in all cases of acne. Healing packs made of grated cucumber, oatmeal (cooked), carrot and lemon juice is effective for acne. Cinnamon, Honey, Lemon Juice and Green Tea. Green tea contains an antioxidant, which is known as EGCG (Epigallocatechin gallate). It is a substance that boosts metabolism. And increased metabolism rate helps you to shed the accumulated fat in the body, thus helps you to lose weight. Its consumption also reduces the appetite, which in turn helps you lose some extra pounds. Apart from that it also decreases the abdominal fat. Required Ingredients: Ground Cinnamon – ½ tspHoney – 1 tspLemon Juice – ½ tspGreen Tea Bag – 1Water – ½ cup Process: Take 1 ½ cup of water in a saucepan. Boil the water for few minutes. Add the green tea bag in the water and leave for 5 minutes. Take out the tea bag from the water and add the ground cinnamon, honey and lemon juice to it. Stir all the ingredients well and pour the tea to a cup. Drink this tea regularly to be successful in your weight loss regime. The cinnamon and honey remedy will work more effectively if you take it in a particular time.

Essential fatty acids are specific fats that are critical to the proper function of your body. Your body is not able to produce these fatty acids on its own, so it is necessary that you eat foods containing them. Essential fatty acids from walnuts, flaxseeds, fish and avocado are great foods to eat for healthy hair.

When Do You Get Painful Rashes and What Should You Do about it?

MD - Anaesthesiology
Anesthesiologist, Delhi
When Do You Get Painful Rashes and What Should You Do about it?

The most common reason for the occurrence of painful rashes is a condition of the skin known as shingles. It is caused by the varicella-zoster virus, which is also responsible for causing chicken pox. Shingles, also known as herpes zoster, manifests itself as painful rashes that occur on the skin in the form of a band, a strip or a patch and can even develop into blisters.

What causes this condition to occur?

Once it enters the system, the varicella zoster virus remains dormant in the nerve roots until it is activated. The exact trigger varies from a weakened immune system to nervous inflammation.

The virus spreads from one person to another through aerial transmission or direct contact with the contaminated fluids that are formed inside the rashes and blisters. Any person who has suffered from chickenpox in the past is more prone to this condition. Although shingles is more common in older adults, it also affects children who have not had chickenpox before, as their immune systems are still in the developmental stage and are not effective in providing protection against the virus.

How to alleviate the problem?

There are simple ways of dealing with the problem of shingles for easing the symptoms and reducing pain.

Some of them are as follows:

- The rashes and blisters should not be scratched or picked at.
- Cornstarch or baking soda can be applied to the affected areas to reduce pain.
- Moist and wet compresses can also be used for relieving soreness.
- Anti-inflammatory creams and lotions can be applied for soothing the skin.

In case of severe infection or inflammation, consult a healthcare specialist right away for diagnosis and prescription of antibiotic medication for treating the condition.

How to prevent the virus from spreading?

Once affected, it is important to keep the virus from infecting another person. It requires avoiding contact with those who are at a higher risk of contracting the virus, such as:

- Children who have never had chickenpox
- Pregnant women
- A person who is currently ill
- People with chronic weak immune systems

How to stop hairfall at the age of 20?

BHMS
Homeopath,
How to stop hairfall at the age of 20?
Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash.
