Dear you can easily gain weight by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion.

Hi lybrate-user to get rid of weakness you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects.

Most of the people wash off shampoo immediately after its application or keep the shampoo in the hair for very long. They think prolonged application of shampoo in hair will benefit hair. But the fact is that the contact time of shampoo to hair should be around five minutes, neither less nor more. This allows appropriate time for cleaning of dirt in the hair.

You need to plan your meals well. Eat smaller meals at frequent intervals. Avoid long gaps between meals and/or heavy meals. Have an early dinner by if possible. Avoid outside, junk foods. Exercise whenever you get the opportunity or at least 3 times a week. This will ensure at least initial weight loss. Lastly. Be commited. Any thing that you do and then leave is not the right thing. Diet is something you don' t go on or off. It' s what you take for life to nourish your body. So stick to a sensible eating plan and exercise routine that you can maintain. Not some diet that is low fat low carb protein rich etc. Get commited for life not for a month or a week.

How to reduce belly fat and stretch marks after delivery. please suggest some home made remedies.
It will take some effort for you to flatten your tummy. I am outlining a 21 day plan for you. If you follow this plan sincerely then you will see a noticeable difference in just 21 days. There are 5 things that you need to do: 1. Eliminate all refined sugars from your diet. This means no sugar in your tea/coffee/milk, no consumption of sugary beverages like coke, pepsi and total elimination of all snacks like biscuits, cakes, sweet dishes. I know it is difficult but remember that you just have to adhere to this for 21 days. If you wish to snack you can have unsalted peanuts, dry fruits, seeds or yogurt. 2. When you get up in the morning, put your pillow aside and lie with your back straight. Put both your legs together and lift them so your legs are at a 30 degree angle with the bed. Maintain this pose of 5 minutes. Keep breathing while your legs are in the air. 3. Eliminate dinner altogether. In place of dinner have a bowl of papaya. You can have a small bowl of yogurt with black salt if you are not able to control your urge. 4. Keep hydrated through out the day. You need to drink at least 10 glasses of water every day. Tea/coffee are not substitutes of water. Minimize consumption of milk. Add raw vegetables to each meal. 5. One 500mg tablet of Calcium D-Glucarate and one tablet of B-Complex every day. If you miss even one of the steps mentioned above during your 21 day regime then you have to start all over again from Day 1. Please bear in mind that it takes 21 consecutive days of performing all the above mentioned steps for the stomach muscles to start toning up. To lighten the appearance of stretch marks – 1.Scrub the area lightly once a day. You can use some natural ingredients like gramflour, turmeric mixed with some milk to scrub the area. 2.Apply Vitamin E oil or warm olive oil on the area. 3.Apply Aloe Vera gel once a day on the area 4.Cocoa butter mixed with wheat germ oil is also very good at maintaining the skin health and reduce appearance of the skin. 5.You can also apply creams like Elastoderm stretch mark cream to reduce the appearance of stretch marks. Apply this cream daily to see results in few months. 6.Consume diet that is rich in vitamin E, omega 3 and 6 and other skin friendly vitamins like vitamin E and A. 7.Keep yourself hydrated. Drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water to keep your skin soft and supple.

अक्सर हमेशा हंसने खेलने वाली चंचल लड़कियां भी महीने के कुछ दिन दबी दबी दुखी सी शर्माती खुदको छिपाती नजर आती हैं। और इसी वक़्त पर हम गौर करें तो पाएंगे कि घर परिवार के कुछ लोग भी उससे कटे कटे रहते हैं कई चीजों को छूने कई जगह जाने पर पर भी मनाही होती है। जी हां बिलकुल सही समझें आप हम बात कर रहे हैं पीरियड्स की। यह केवल महिलाओं ही नही पुरुषों या यूँ कहें मानव वृद्धि के लिए सबसे अहम घटना है। तो चलिए आज हम जानते हैं पीरियड्स क्या हक़ क्यों आता है इसका सही समय, महत्व आदि। 
पीरियड्स या मासिक धर्म स्त्रियों को हर महीने योनि से होने वाला लाल रंग के स्राव को कहते है। पीरियड्स के विषय में लड़कियों को पूरी जानकारी नहीं होने पर उन्हें बहुत दुविधा का सामना करना पड़ता है। पहली बार पीरियड्स होने पर जानकारी के अभाव में लड़कियां बहुत डर जाती है। उन्हें बहुत शर्म महसूस होती है और अपराध बोध से ग्रस्त हो जाती है। 

पीरियड्स को रजोधर्म भी कहते है। ये शारीरिक प्रक्रिया सभी क्रियाओं से अधिक महवपूर्ण है, क्योकि इसी प्रक्रिया से ही मनुष्य का ये संसार चलता है। मानव की उत्पत्ति इसके बिना नहीं हो सकती। प्रकृति ने स्त्रियों को गर्भाशय ओवरी फेलोपियन ट्यूब, और वजाइना देकर उसे सन्तान उत्पन्न करने का अहम क्षमता दिया है। इसलिए पीरियड्स या मासिक धर्म गर्व की बात होनी चाहिए ना कि शर्म की या हीनता की। सिर्फ इसे समझना और संभालना आना जरुरी है। इस प्रक्रिया से घबराने या कुछ गलत या गन्दा होने की हीन भावना महसूस करने की बिल्कुल आवश्यकता नहीं है। पीरियड्स मासिक धर्म को एक सामान्य शारीरिक गतिविधि ही समझना चाहिए जैसे उबासी आती है या छींक आती है। भूख, प्यास लगती है या सू-सू पोटी आती है।

मासिक चक्र

  • दो पीरियड्सके बीच का नियमित समय मासिक चक्र ( Menstruation Cycle ) कहलाता है। नियमित समय पर पीरियड्स( Menses ) होने का मतलब है कि शरीर के सभी प्रजनन अंग स्वस्थ है और अच्छा काम कर रहे है। मासिक चक्र की वजह से ऐसे हार्मोन बनते है जो शरीर को स्वस्थ रखते है। हर महीने ये हार्मोन शरीर को गर्भ धारण के लिए तैयार कर देते है।
  • मासिक चक्र के दिन की गिनती पीरियड्सशुरू होने के पहले दिन से अगली पीरियड्सशुरू होने के पहले दिन तक की जाती है। लड़कियों में मासिक चक्र 21 दिन से 45 दिन तक का हो सकता है। महिलाओं को मासिक चक्र 21 दिन से 35 दिन तक का हो सकता है। सामान्य तौर पर मासिक चक्र 28 दिन का होता है।

मासिक चक्र के समय शरीर में परिवर्तन 

1. हार्मोन्स में परिवर्तन
 मासिक चक्र के शुरू के दिनों में एस्ट्रोजन नामक हार्मोन बढ़ना शरू होता है। ये हार्मोन शरीर को स्वस्थ रखता है विशेषकर ये हड्डियों को मजबूत बनाता है। साथ ही इस हार्मोन के कारण गर्भाशय की अंदरूनी दीवार पर रक्त और टिशूज़ की एक मखमली परत बनती है ताकि वहाँ भ्रूण पोषण पाकर तेजी से विकसित हो सके। ये परत रक्त और टिशू से बनी होती है।
2. ओव्यूलेशन 
संतान उत्पन्न होने के क्रम में किसी एक ओवरी में से एक विकसित अंडा डिंब निकल कर फेलोपीयन ट्यूब में पहुँचता है। इसे ओव्यूलेशन कहते है। आमतौर पर ये मासिक चक्र के 14 वें दिन होता है । कुछ कारणों से थोड़ा आगे पीछे हो सकता है। 
ओव्यूलेशन के समय कुछ हार्मोन जैसे एस्ट्रोजन आदि अधिकतम स्तर पर पहुँच जाते है। इसकी वजह से जननांगों के आस पास ब्लड सर्कुलेशन बढ़ जाता है। योनि के स्राव में परिवर्तन हो जाता है। जिसके कारण महिलाओं की सेक्सुअल डिजायर बढ़ जाती हैं। इसलिए इस ड्यूरेशन में सेक्स करने पर प्रेग्नेंट होने के चन्वेस बढ़ जाते हैं।
3. अंडा 
फेलोपियन ट्यूब में अगर अंडा शुक्राणु द्वारा निषेचित हो जाता है तो भ्रूण का विकास क्रम शुरू हो जाता है। अदरवाइज 12 घंटे बाद अंडा खराब हो जाता है। अंडे के खराब होने पर एस्ट्रोजन हार्मोन का लेवल कम हो जाता है। गर्भाशय की ब्लड व टिशू की परत की जरुरत ख़त्म हो जाती है। और ऐसे में यही परत नष्ट होकर योनि मार्ग से बाहर निकल जाती है। इसे ही पीरियड्स, मेंस्ट्रुल साइकिल, महीना आना या रजोधर्म भी कहा जाता है। और इस दौर से गुजऱने वाली स्त्री को रजस्वला कहा जाता है।
4. ब्लीडिंग
पीरियड्स के समय अक्सर यह मन में यह मन में यह सवाल आता है की ब्लीडिंग कितने दिन तक होना चाहिए और कितनी मात्रा में होना चाहिए कि जिसे सामान्य मानें। पीरियड यानि MC के समय निकलने वाला स्राव सिर्फ रक्त नहीं होता है। इसमें नष्ट हो चुके टिशू भी होते है। अतः ये सोचकर की इतना सारा रक्त शरीर से निकल गया, फिक्र नहीं करनी चाहिए। इसमें ब्लड की क्वांटिटी करीब 50 ml ही होती है। नैचुरली पीरियड्स तीन से छः दिन तक होता है। तथा स्राव की मात्रा भी अलग अलग हो सकती है। यदि स्राव इससे ज्यादा दिन तक चले तो डॉक्टर से सम्पर्क करना चाहिए।

पीरियड्स से पहले के लक्षण
लड़कियों को शुरू में अनियमित पीरियड्स, ज्यादा या कम दिनों तक पीरियड, कम या ज्यादा मात्रा में स्राव, डिप्रेशन आदि हो सकते है। इसके अलावा पीएमएस यानि पीरियड्स होने से पहले के लक्षण नजर आने लगते है। अलग अलग स्त्रियों को पीएमएस के अलग लक्षण हो सकते है। इस समय पैर, पीठ और अँगुलियों में सूजन या दर्द हो सकता है। स्तनों में भारीपन, दर्द या गांठें महसूस हो सकती है। सिरदर्द, माइग्रेन, कम या ज्यादा भूख, मुँहासे, त्वचा पर दाग धब्बे, आदि हो सकते है। इस तरह के लक्षण पीरियड शुरू हो जाने के बाद अपने आप ठीक हो जाते है। इसलिए उन दिनों में अपने आपको सहारा डैम और मजबूत बनें।

पीरियड्स आने की उम्र 
आमतौर पर लड़कियों में पीरियड्स 11 से 14 साल की उम्र में शुरू हो जाती है। लेकिन अगर थोड़ा देर या जल्दी आजाए तो चिंता न करें। पीरियड्सशुरू होने का मतलब होता है की लड़की माँ बन सकती है। शुरुआत में पीरियड्सऔर ओव्यूलेशन
के समय में अंतर हो सकता है। यानि हो सकता है की पीरियड्सशुरू नहीं हो लेकिन ओव्यूलेशन शुरू हो चुका हो। ऐसे में गर्भ धारण हो सकता है। और इसका उल्टा भी संभव है। यह बहुत महत्त्वपूर्ण है कि पीरियड्स शुरू नहीं होने पर भी प्रेगनेंट होना संभव है इसलिए सावधानी बरतें।

पहले ही किशोरियों को समझाएं 
लड़कियों में शारीरिक परिवर्तन दिखने पर या लगभग 10 -11 साल की उम्र में मासिक धर्म के बारे में जानकारी देकर इसे कैसे मैनेज करना है समझा देना चाहिए। जिससे वे शरीर में होने वाली इस सामान्य प्रक्रिया के लिए मानसिक रूप से भी तैयार हो जाएँ। साथ ही आप लोगों को भी यह समझने की जरूरत है कि पीरियड्स मवं में अपवित्रता जैसा कुछ नहीं है। ये एक सामान्य शारीरिक क्रिया है जो एक जिम्मेदारी का अहसास कराती है। इसकी वजह से लड़कियों पर आने जाने या खेलने कूदने पर पाबन्दी नहीं लगानी चाहिए। पर ध्यान रहे बच्चियों को गर्भ धारण करने की सम्भावना के बारे में जरूर समझाना चाहिए जिससे वे सतर्क रहें। 

पीरियड्स आने पर 
सभी महिलाएं पीरियड्स की डेट जरूर याद रखें जिससे आप पहले ही तैयार रहें। 
इस दौरान खुदको किसी चीज़ से न रोकें नहीं। सामान्य जीवन शैली ही जिएं। बस अगर मौका मिले तो थोड़ा आराम करें।

Little bit changes in your food habits and physical routine would change the way you look. First of all pl mildly purgative yourself for three days by herbal powders. Start hydrating yourself. Drink max hot/ warm water and start walking at a stretch for 45 minutes daily at a time chosen by you to set your biological clock to understand the routine and adapt to it. Avoid all junks, oily, greasy foods. Only you may take little bit of desi ghee esp of cow, if you can get. Maximum salads, leafy greens and fibrous fruits should be used. Yoga postures esp uttanpaad asan may be done daily. Deep breathing/'kapal bhati' to be practiced daily. Take little lesser calories than you spend. This will gradually bring your tummy in. Adding our package of herbal combos to your modified routine will bring the results much faster. This includes fat reduction combos.

My friends daughter who is19 years old and weight 55 kgs suffers very badly from pre menstrual cramps she goes short of breath and her hands &legs start getting stiff. She has to admitted to the hospital and the doctors give her nebulizer with budecort 0.5 mg and serenace injection. What could be the reason for this and what can be done to avoid this.

Hi lybrate-user Sad to hear about your daughter's condition. These medications are given for treatment of persistent bronchial asthma. Looks like her asthma symptoms get worse during PMS and periods. Asthma symptoms can start to worsen anywhere from four days before menstruation through the last day of your period. This is most common in women with severe asthma. You can treat her for asthma and meet an allergist doctor. You may follow the following: If your asthma is particularly bothersome just before or during your period, there are steps you can take to help head off an asthma attack. Write a diary. Write down details about your daughter's asthma symptoms throughout the month and compare them to the pattern during her menstrual cycle. This can help determine if there’s a relationship between your asthma and your periods. Bring the diary to appointments with your allergist. Talk to your doctor. If your asthma symptoms consistently worsen around your period, discuss possible remedies with your doctor. Your doctor may recommend increasing preventive medication during this time of the month. This will save hospitalisation every time. Consider hormone therapy. Manipulating the timing of menstruation with artificial hormones may help. Some women who have asthma attacks right before or during their period can benefit from hormone therapy. If you are pre-menopausal, this may mean taking birth control pills, wearing a patch, or getting injections. In a recent study of menstruating women 28 to 58 years old, asthma symptoms improved for the women taking oral contraceptives. Avoid triggers. Be particularly diligent about avoiding anything that could set off an asthma attack in the days before and during your period. Common asthma triggers include cold air, exercise, pollutants, dust, and smoke, including second-hand smoke from being around smokers. Taking aspirin can also trigger an asthma attack in some women. Be prepared. At the very least, be sure you have your rescue inhaler with you at all times on the days before and during your daughter's period.

Please Stop liquor totally Take Tab depsonil... (imipramine 25 mg) 1... 1... 1 Saraswatarishta 20 ml twice daily with water All for 3 to 6 mths minimum Reconsult after 3 wks.
