After giving birth my wife have lost interest in sex. She hardly gets orgasm once a month that too after her menstrual periods. please help.

Hi. A woman’s libido is the desire for sexual intercourse. Common causes of lack of sexual desire include exhaustion, poor self-esteem, or an unhappy relationship. A significant cause may be hormone imbalance from childbirth, chemical birth control or other hormonal changes. Stress, melancholy along with getting older are normal cause. Medication: Give your wife homoeopathic medicines which are safe to take even if she's breast-feeding - Avena Sativa Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ 3 times a day and China 30 - both thrice daily for a month. Is she taking calcium and iron supplements? If not, ask her gynaecologist, she will let you know. Management: 1. Talk openly with your partner about her sexual desire or weakness 2. Daily exercise for her is helpful to increase sexual drive (but do consult her gynaecologist and physiotherapist both) 3. Try to keep her body free from obesity (which can be achieved from regular exercising and regular walk) 4. Let her take a balance diet filled with plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit 5. Ask her to learn to relax and de-stress by meditating 6. Stop smoking (if she does so) 7. Alcohol has bad affects to sexual function and desire. Try to reduce the drinking of alcohol (in case she drinks) 9. Avoid illegal and powerful sexual drugs (Ask her to practice pranayam regularly for half an hour preferably in a garden early in the morning which de-stresses the body). Also, tell her to practice Pelvic floor exercise or Kegel exercise, consists of repeatedly contracting and relaxing the muscles that form part of the pelvic floor. In order to locate your pelvic muscles try to stop and begin the flow of urine as using the bathroom. You can perform Kegel exercises with the empty bladder as exercising pelvic muscle with the full bladder might result in urinary tract infections. Kegel exercises are employed to strengthen the pubococcygeal muscle and other muscles of the pelvic diaphragm. Kegels can help men achieve stronger erections, maintain healthy hips, and gain greater control over ejaculation. The objective of this may be similar to that of the exercise in women with weakened pelvic floor: to increase bladder and bowel control and sexual function. Foods which increases sex drive: Chillies, peppers, avocados, bananas, chocolates, oysters, pomegranate, red wine, walnuts, vanilla, watermelon, coffee and spicy food.

my problem was having oil face.... even after face wash with soap within 3hrs again getting oily... pls suggest good idea like better face wash

1. take natrum mur 200,3 drops morning empty stomach, single dose. 2. take berberis aquafolium Q., 7-7 drops with water ,twice day. 3. wash your face with aloe vera herbal face wash twice a day, apply rose water on the face. 4.don't take oily , spicy junk food in excess. 5. Wash your face with plain water 4-5 times a day.

Can numerous fibroids and an enlarged uterus cause bladder prolapse? why does my gynecologist think my bladder bulging into my vaginal canal is a fibroid even after I was sent to a urologist for stress incontinence issues?

Yes you can have a fibroid polyp that can come outside the vagina and mimic a prolapse. Also if you have a large uterine fibroid it can put pressure on your bladder and call the vaginal wall to prolapse. What you actually have depends on the examination findings

Hi incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Eating too fast leads to overeating, so chew slowly to digest your food better and control how much you eat. - use a smaller plate to control your portion sizes and avoid overeating. - know your cravings and do not snack when you're emotional. If you had done unprotected sex between 10th to 18 th day after menstrual bleeding in last month, then do urine pregnancy test to confirm ,if not any happened then wait for 3-4 days periods will start.

Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

There is only mention about having diabetes, but no details about blood glucose levels & HbA1c%.Plus no other info on BP, lipid profile etc, so it is difficult to give any opinion why there is choking sensation. Please get a detailed blood check up, plus ECG and then come back. Thanks.

Okay to gain weight you can do these.Do regular exercise like muscle building and other weight lifting exercise to gain weight.Eat more food more frequently.Use whole cream milk or milk shake.Take banana 3-4pcs/day.Take dense fruits,vegetables.Eat more fish,egg,lean meat,mushroom,tofu,soy,yogurt.Use olive oil,canola,avocado,refined vegetable oil.Take cake,pastries,chocolate,ghee,butter,cheese,jam,jelly with food.Use weight gainer nutritional supplement.avoid smoking,alcohol.Drink lots of water but not just before or during meals.Take stress free proper rest.
