I have pain in my upper back (below hand big bone) by moving hand sometimes it feel happy, am suffering from last 3 years, I consulted doctor in kurnool (gawri gopal hospital) it is not queer, I can't to sit above 5 min in normal place, in some chairs it will not happens, what problems am facing sir.

Kindly show me x rays of your shoulder. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Do hot fomentation any way take bio d3 max 1tab odx10days ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days do neck & shoulder exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. 2. Learn spinal exercises. 3. Don't sit on floor. 4. Don't lift heavy things. 5. Wear lumber spine belt. 6. Apply volini cream before sleeping. 7. Do Hot fermentation twice a day. 8. Take calcium, vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month minimum.

Hello, You can have the following Ayurveda medicines: 1. Yogaraj guggul - 1 tablet � 3 times after meals 2. Maharasnadi kwath - 4 tsp + 4 tsp hot water � 2 times after meals 3. Vatavidhwansa rasa - 1 tablet � 3 times before meals 4. Murivenna tailam - Massage softly with this oil. Use it warm and then do hot fomentation if there is no swelling.

Foot x-ray must avoid long standing ya running do heat fermentation twice a day with warm water and do gentle massage if it work then ok otherwise tk physiotherapy treatment and do strength exercise.

Avoid computer work and avoid toward bending, and long sitting that's your problem so do stretching exercise and tk physiotherapy treatment.

back ache & getting tired early has a few reasons, like depleted bone calcium, low iron content in the body are most common. Please check your HB levels, vit D levels for better treatment. As girls of your age are prone to these two deficiencies. Take Abhra lauha and Asthiposhaka tablet, one each, thrice a day with rice water, after meals. Do gentle massage with mahanarayana oil and hot fomentation. Take 1 tsp amla powder w ith warm water at bed time regularly. Continue the regime for 2 months . Keep an eye on your Vit D, Hb levels. good luck

Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold). Avoid Squatting- Avoid sitting Cross legged Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hello, there are many causes behind backache *any strain or sprain in the muscles or ligaments of the back during lifting of heavy objects is the main cause of the lower back pain. *sitting in the wrong posture for a very long time is another cause. *pain in lower back is common in women during menstrual period and when they suffer from leucorrhoea *people suffering from constipation may also suffer from lower back pain. *sometimes sleeping on wrong type of beds can also cause pain in the back. Follow the tips *take rest or move about once in 1-2 hours in case of working in a constant position. *maintain a good posture while reading or working with computers. *take a high fibre content diet like vegetables, fruits, etc.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf region or upper leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to involvement of tendons, nerves and vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre match warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood test for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Sir, I am 56 years working lady. I have to travel daily for 2 hours standing besides doing work at home that is also standing. Since morning I am feeling foot pain. After get up I cannot walk. Stretch calves get a custom made insole. Hams stretching. Sports taping. Hot fomentation standing calf stretch stand away from a wall and put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 1 wk, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello lybrate user, sciatica is a radiating pain along the course of the nerve. Usually for the lower back to the back of thigh and then further down to the foot. This happens because of a compression on the nerve roots which leads to symptoms of tingling and numbness in your feet, and other functional deficits the nerves like sensory loss and weakness in the limbs. When this pressure of the nerves is accompanied by inflammation of nerve itself, it gives rise to the radiating pain or sciatica. This inflammation comes down with anti inflammatory drugs and rest, so the sciatica is no longer present but compression on the nerves remains so you might still be having sensory loss. But still your nerve might be recovering from the compression and you regain sensation with neurotonic drugs and time if the compression has also been resolved. But this decision making is complex and can be done by a spine surgeon and only after a thorough clinical assessment. I would suggest you get an mri done and consult a spine surgeon as soon as possible. Hope this helps.
