Most men are insecure about two things: sex and penis size. Men from all walks of life pride themselves on the size of their penis and their duration in bed, Penis size seems to be a bit of a preoccupation for men, causing a healthy industry that claims to have various methods of enlarging the male organ. Interestingly though, there is a significant number of men who claim to have small penises but are in fact quite normally endowed. Most man are unsatisfied with their penis size but in vast majority such anxiety is unfounded among men, there is no consistent relationship between the size of the flaccid penis and its full erect length. A penis is only said to be unusually small if it is less than 3 inches (7.6 cm) long when erect. The average penis size is about 14-16 cm (5.5-6.3 inches) when erect. The average girth for an erect penis is 12-13 cm (4.7-5.1 inches). But guys get out ruler's. Just because your member may not fall within those measurement doesn't mean you r not excellent partner. Size matters less than knowing what you r doing and how you r doing. So instead of worrying about size try to learn skills of love making and instead of spending time in worrying about size spend time in gaining knowledge about sex. Dick size, some have smaller ones and some have bigger ones. Work with what you’ve got and remember that fucking comes from your whole body, not just your cock. You are not merely a body with a phallus attached. You are a whole and living and breathing man. Make sure it’s the man that’s having sex. Bring all of you to the stage and you will be rewarded and so will she. Fact is PENIS SIZE IS UN IMPORTANT TO PERFORMANCE, MINIMUM 2 INCH PENIS SIZE IS SUFFICIENT FOR SATIPenis size seems to be a bit of a preoccupation for men, causing a healthy industry that claims to have various methods of enlarging the male organ. Interestingly though, there is a significant number of men who claim to have small penises but are in fact quite normally endowed.

Hello Mr Singh. Psoriasis can be treated with minimal costs also. It would be best for you to visit a government hospital. Medicines may be cheap, but that will require blood tests once in 3 months atleast(sometimes more frequently). And depending on your response and weight the dosages will also vary

Can diabetes be cured by doing rigorous exercises regularly like jogging 5 km. Etc.

MBBS, CCEBDM, Diploma in Diabetology

Can diabetes be cured by doing rigorous exercises regularly like jogging 5 km. Etc.
Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Type 2 Diabetes is a disease occurring due either to deficiency of insulin or resistance to its action or both. Fortunately it is a preventable disease if before it develops all the necessary care is taken like weight control, proper healthy diet and regular exercise. But once it is diagnosed then there is no way to control it other than taking appropriate medication along with diet control and exercise. Jogging 5 km is hardly a rigorous exercise. Jogging over 10 to 15 kms a day may be considered in that category. Thanks.

What are foods should be eaten for Better performance in sex and to have more sperm counts.

What are foods should be eaten for Better performance in sex and to have more sperm counts.
Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. Don't get confused. Sperm quantity and thickness changes according to physical condition and sexual intercourse / masturbation timing and related mental and physical conditions. Therefore, don't think too much about the thickness or quantity of sperm. If you want to know the quality of sperm, get your sperm checked for that. For Healthy Sperm, Eat More Vitamins.(Deficiencies in vitamin A have been linked to sluggish sperm and lowered fertility) Minerals.(Inadequate levels of zinc can cause lowered sperm counts), Fatty acids, Folic acid, Lycopen, and Drink a lot of Water. Take care. Take care.

For diabetes follow a diet low in carbohydrate, low in salt, low in fat and high in fibre. Avoid bakery products. Avoid too much rice and potato. Avoid fried stuff. Avoid chocolate, cakes, ice cream, soft drinks and fruit juices. Eat lots of vegetables. Walk for at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days in a week. Medicine and insulin will work better if you follow diet and exercise. Your wife blood sugar are very high and such high blood sugar increases the risk of complication of diabetes. She needs to increase her insulin dose(and will require to take insulin 3-4 times in a day).

What Are The Common Causes And Symptoms Of Diabetes?

PGP In Diabetologist, Fellowship in non-invasive Cardiology, MD - Medicine, MBBS
Endocrinologist, Delhi
What Are The Common Causes And Symptoms Of Diabetes?

The food we eat contains energy which is stored as glucose in the body. This glucose is then converted into back into energy with the help of a hormone called insulin. A lack of insulin in the body or an inability to use the insulin is known as diabetes. There are two types of diabetes mellitus; type 1 and type 2. These diseases cannot be cured but with medication, correct nutrition and weight management, they can be controlled so as to not affect your quality of life.

Type 1 diabetes is a lifelong condition and usually, begins in childhood. This is an autoimmune condition and makes the pancreas stop producing insulin. Some probable causes of type 1 diabetes are:

  1. Family history of diabetes

  2. Pancreatic diseases

  3. Other infections and diseases that can affect the pancreas.

Between the two, type 2 diabetes is more common. Type 2 diabetes is also known as insulin resistance and can affect a person at any stage in life. However, it is more common amongst men and women above the age of 45. Ethnicity also plays an important role here with African Americans, Latino Americans, Asian Americans and Hispanic people being more vulnerable to this disease. In this case, the body does produce insulin but either this amount is insufficient or the body is resistant to the insulin. Some factors that can trigger this condition are:

  1. Obesity

  2. High blood pressure

  3. Sedentary lifestyle

  4. Polycystic ovary syndrome

  5. Family history of diabetes

  6. Low levels of good cholesterol and high levels of triglycerides

  7. Presence of cells that are resistant to insulin

  8. Prediabetes or glucose intolerance

The most common symptoms of type 1 and type 2 diabetes are:

  1. Increased urination

  2. Excessive thirst and increased appetite

  3. Weight loss

  4. Fatigue

  5. Wounds that are slow to heal

  6. Yeast infections

  7. Numbness and tingling sensations in the toes

  8. Dry skin

  9. Blurred vision

  10. Nausea and vomiting

Another common type of diabetes is known as gestational diabetes Gestational diabetes affects pregnant women. It is caused by the over or under production of insulin by the placenta. Gestational diabetes can affect the health and growth of the baby is not treated in time. This condition usually resolves itself after the baby is delivered but it can put the mother at an increased risk of suffering from type 2 diabetes. Some factors that can trigger this condition are:

  1. Obesity

  2. Glucose intolerance

  3. Family history of diabetes

  4. Pregnancy after the age of 30

If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an endocrinologist.

Urinary Tract Infection - Signs You are Suffering From it!

MBBS, MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology
Gynaecologist, Faridabad
Urinary Tract Infection - Signs You are Suffering From it!

A urinary tract infection can be painful and annoying. Most urinary tract infections affect the bladder and urethra, but it can also affect the kidneys and ureter. Women have a higher risk of suffering from this infection as compared to men. This is because women have a shorter urethra than men and hence the bacteria needs to travel a shorter distance to reach the bladder. Urinary tract infections can usually be treated easily with a course of antibiotics as long as they are detected in time. If not detected in time, it can affect the kidneys which make it a more serious problem. Hence, it becomes important to be able to recognise the signs of this infection.

Some of the symptoms to watch out for are:

  1. A persistent urge to urinate but low volume of urine produced
  2. A burning sensation while urinating
  3. Cloudy urine
  4. Blood in the urine which makes the urine appear red, pink or blackish
  5. Strong smell of the urine
  6. Pelvic pain

A urinary tract infection that affects the urethra is also known as urethritis. A burning sensation when urinating and discharge along with urine are the most prominent symptoms of this type of infection. When this infection affects the bladder it comes to be known as cystitis. Cystitis patients typically suffer from frequent and painful urination along with discomfort in the lower abdomen and pressure in the pelvic area. They may also notice blood in the urine.

Acute pyelonephritis refers to a urinary infection that affects the kidneys. In such cases, along with the typical symptoms, the patient may also experience high fever, nausea, shivering and pain in the upper back and sides of the abdomen.

This infection can affect a person at any age. Most women suffer from at least one bout of urinary tract infections in their lifetime. Some of the factors that increase the risk of suffering from this infection are:
Certain types of birth control such as diaphragms and spermicidal agents

  1. Menopause
  2. New sexual partners
  3. Urinary tract abnormalities
  4. Kidney stones or other blockages in the urinary tract
  5. Weakened immune system
  6. Use of catheters
  7. Recent urinary procedures that involve the use of medical instruments

Urinary tract infection can be easily prevented by living a healthy lifestyle. Drink plenty of fluids to flush bacteria and other toxins from your body. Bacteria multiplies in the bladder if urine stays for too long. Hence, urinate frequently and do not try to control your bladder. Avoid synthetic underwear and wear cotton underwear with loose fitting clothes that keep the area around the urethra dry.

How to prevent recurrent urinary tract infections
A urinary tract infection or UTI can be quite painful and uncomfortable. This infection can be described as an infection that affects the ureter, urethra, bladder or kidneys. Women have a shorter urethra than men which makes this more vulnerable to this kind of infection. It is said that most women suffer from at least one bout of this infection in a lifetime. Urinary tract infections are caused by bacteria and may often recur after treatment. However, in most cases, this can easily be prevented. Here are a few tips to help prevent recurrent urinary tract infections.

  1. Drink plenty of fluids: Ideally, we should drink 8-10 glasses of water a day at regular intervals. This keeps the body hydrated and flushes toxins and bacteria from the body. Water also prevents the formation of kidney stones that could increase your risk of suffering from a urinary tract infection.
  2. Urinate frequently: If you drink the required amount of water, you will typically need to urinate frequently. Do not try to control your bladder. Holding your urine in your bladder allows bacteria to multiply inside the bladder. This is an easy way for a UTI to begin.
  3. Follow healthy bathroom habits: Cleanliness is the first step to preventing any infection. When using public restrooms, flush the toilet before and after urinating. In the case of women, it becomes important to ensure that the seat of the toilet is clean as well. After urinating wipe the residual urine with toilet paper in a motion that goes from front to back. Since the urethra is situated very close to the rectum, this step is very important. For uncircumcised men, it is important to wash the foreskin after urination.
  4. Wear loose clothes: Tight fitting clothes trap moisture and aid in the multiplication of bacteria. Hence, always wear loose fitting clothes that keep the area around the urethra dry. Also, avoid synthetic underwear and only wear cotton underwear.
  5. Urinate after intercourse: The relative closeness of the vagina to the urethra makes it easy for bacteria to enter the urethra during intercourse. Hence, make it a habit of washing your pubic region after urinating. This helps flush out any possible bacteria that may have entered your body.
  6. Choose the correct method of birth control: Certain types of birth control such as diaphragms and spermicidal agents can promote a urinary tract infection. Hence, it is best to avoid these types of birth control and pick alternatives. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a doctor and ask a free question.

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns, MASTURBATION IT the release of semen from your penis. Semen is made up of fluid and sperm. Many guys masturbate. In fact, one study of 15- and 16-year-olds found that 75% of boys said they masturbated. There are many myths IS ASORT OF SEXUAL PRACTICE NOT ONLY HUMANS BUT ALSO SEEN IN ANIMALS ALSO, IS PERFORMED When- you masturbate, you release sexual tension. You'll have what's called an ejaculation. Ejaculation is about masturbation. For example, some people say it will stunt your growth. But there is nothing wrong with doing it as long as it doesn't become a constant desire or get in the way of other things you want or need to do. See you r overdoing, means not normal. Its addiction not normal, try to control, by will power, make a schedule of masturbation first, stick to it. When you plan to masturbate, But if you have a little extra time, “edging”—also called the stop-and-start method—can help you achieve more intense orgasms, I promise. Work yourself right up to the edge of ejaculation and then take a short break—just enough time for your erection to soften a bit. Then start the process over again. Do this three or four times before you orgasm, and you’ll experience more profound, powerful ejaculations, will make you more satisfied ,hence you feel not to masturbate too often, avoid situation provoking you to masturbate, as being alone, watching porn, reading erotic’s, do physical exercise, be more active in social life, If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
