It is natural to feel low and miss the person you have lost. However if it is interfering with your sleep, studies or general well being, or if you feel suicidal, you need to consult a psychiatrist. It is common to feel low, cry, feel like you are alone, or lose your self confidence. Usually time is the best healer. However if things are too difficult to handle you should talk to a psychiatrist or counselor. Confide in someone close to you, who will support you in this difficult time. Don't cut off from friends or family, even if you feel like you want to be alone.

Dear lybrate-user, You should send the details of his symptoms and diagnosis for which he was prescribed olimelt. Of course olimelt is sedating. You can reduce and even stop olimelt, provided it is not given for any psychotic symptoms.

The end of a relationship often feels like the end of the world. After all the time and energy you have invested in it, it is very painful when it gets over. Keep in mind that life is full of ups and downs; nothing is permanent. The pain you feel today will go away with time. Give yourself time to heal. Give time, time. In the meanwhile don't isolate yourself from your friends and family. Confide in someone you are comfortable with. Make a list of life goals, and plan how to achieve them. Relationships are an important part of your life, but they are not everything. Spend time with those close to you, indulge in some enjoyable activities. Keep yourself busy. Slowly you will see that there is a lot to life. However if you are feeling suicidal, consult a psychiatrist immediately. Don't wait to feel worse.

Long distance relation are difficult to handle. Why stressing your self into so much which is not just around u. Try to take things lightly. You both need time to adjust to this new form of relation. Try to be more supportive towards each other rather then finding mistakes good luck.

Sir I fall in love but girl left me. How to forget this girl from my mind. And I talk only 15 day.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
It is important to accept this fact. Many girls will come and go in your life but that gives you more experience. After much deliberations one will stick by you and may be the more suitable match. If too many girls are leaving you, then you will need to check why they do so and learn some lessons so as to not repeat them. It looks like you are pining for her after the break up. Have you analyzed why you two had this fallout? If it your fault, then apologize and see if she is amenable. If not you may have done something quite unforgivable.Maintaining relationships is very intense, and the very thing that makes it attractive (the opposite sex and all its nuances), can also be its nemesis. You must learn what that difference was about your past relation and this particular one and find out how to live with a love relationship. There must be love, respect, commitment, honesty, trust, and freedom in the romantic scene. If however, this is final, then remove all associations of hers: gifts, notes, letters, cards, emails, and any reminders to get her out of your system, not just the mind. Keep the good memories but don’t indulge in them. Get back to your old pals and revive those contacts. Normally when we get a girl friend, we drop all our friends and live exclusively with her. This is not a good thing to do, generally. So do get back to them and get into good social circles. They will help you get over her. Do not talk ill or malign your ex to your friends, whatever was the reason. That is unfortunately a very bad habit many of us have – we must still respect her reputation and treat her with dignity. Do meet up with a counselor and talk about your feelings, openly. This is not the end of the world and she is not the only girl in life. You will find another but learn not to repeat the mistakes that led to the breakup. This time choose wisely and behave like a true gentleman.

Doctor, nowadays I am busy with exams so lots of tension and stress is here and also I am suffering with hair fall, fatiguness, lack of concentration, anxiety, depressive feelings, stressed, and also loose erection. What is happening with me? M very worried.

MBBS, MD - Psychiatry, MBA (Healthcare)

Good morning, Examination brings the best out of students and the stress that goes along with it brings out the worst. Everybody's stress is different and so is their ability to handle the stress which we as psychiatrists and many psychologists call resilience. Taking breaks after about 50 minutes of study will usually relieve the stress and fatigue. The other things that might need to be addressed may need an elaborate consultation and if you have the time for it step in to visit with a psychiatrist or psychologist and if you do not have the time, the wonderful team at Lybrate will help you achieve you goals. Look forward to hearing from you. If you need help with booking an appointment online with me on this website either text, audio or video appointment for a confidential and private consultation you may do so by contacting the help desk of Lybrate.
