Hello lybrate-user, Whenever we start exercising, we suffer from some pain the next day. So always, start exercising gradually and then you can increase the repetitions. What kind of exercise you are doing, it really matters. Also, what you can do is that use hot packs post exercise which will help you to relax your muscles. Now a days, electric hot bags are also available or you can also utilise the hot water bags in which you have to pour hot water.

Causes of Pain in Ribs Injury or trauma – any kind of injury or trauma or chest injury can cause mild to severe rib pain along with inflammation. Fracture rib – caused due to any accident or severe injury results in intense rib pain. Arthritis – it include osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Osteoporosis – due to abnormal thinning of the bone tissue along with reduced bone density, bones become weak and which result in to rib pain. Costochondritis – There is inflammation at the junction of ribs and sternum. Pleurisy – caused due to inflammation of the lining of the lungs and pleura, pain worse by deep breathing. Pneumonia – it is a common cause of rib pain or chest pain. Tuberculosis – bacterial infection which mainly affects lungs, can cause rib pain. Cough – Excessive coughing can cause pain in ribs. Hi, initially while starting a work out you will get pain, but by practicing daily the pain will be reduce slowly. Do stretching for your muscles and icing.

Hi, Last two weeks I am facing pain in both the heels while walking, uric acid is normal.

Hi, Last two weeks I am facing pain in both the heels while walking, uric acid is normal.
Heel Pain: Get treated with Ultrasonic therapy which would directly heal the calcaneal spur (inflammation of the calcaneum bone) which causes the heel pain in majority of the cases. Along with ultrasonic therapy, shortwave diathermy also can be given. Simultaneously it is better to wear MCR chappals (micro cellular rubber) which will help to transfer the weight evenly in the feet so that the weight will be completely felt in the heel area. Simultaneously it is better to wear MCR chappals (micro cellular rubber) which will help to transfer the Plantar Fascitis weight evenly in the feet so that the weight will be completely felt in the heel area. You shall do contrast bath to relieve this pain. Contrast bath is nothing but keeping in one tub hot water (bearable heat) and in another tub cold water Ask your father to apply ice in the painful area which would definitely help to greater extent. If still the pain persists then it is better to keep TENS stimulation at one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics.
