Dear lybrate-user, pimples are caused due to various causes such as internal hormonal change, blocking of the pores in skin, gastric disturbance. Always wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing face wash whenever you enter your room from outside. Do some exercises daily and take one fruit daily. Also you could take homoeopathic calcarea phos 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach to reduce your pimples.

Along with medication you should see that the area which is affected should be kept clean and dry as ringworm infection is increased in presence of moisture.

Dear sir Yesterday I had asked question about arising tiny moles on face. And you suggested me to use suncros soft gel sunscreen. I am using lookbrite cream which is suggested by my friend not by doctor. I use lookbrite for depigmentation. But this cream irritates my face though I applied it only for thrice in last week. My face screen was oily before but now it became rough and I can not bear the direct sunlight. It irritates me. Sir I want to free from tiny moles, blackheads and pimple mark. please suggest me something useful. Thank you. Regards Kumar.

Hi, I suggest you go to a cosmetic dermatologist for a proper cleanup. Please stop the cream. A sunscreen is always advisable to prevent further damage to the skin. Alternatively you can use tomato paste on your face and neck for 20 minutes everyday.

In my sister face black spots are there. How to remove blacks spots by home remedies.

In my sister face black spots are there. How to remove blacks spots by home remedies.
* Don't scratch or pinch your pimples. This will cause more damage---scars and black spots. * Avoid fried and oily foods. * Prefer fruits and green vegetables. * When you apply any cream, sun screen and the like, clean your face at the earliest, so that there will be no adverse action of the chemicals on the delicate skin of face. *For your information, many skin creams (mostly fairness cream brands) are considered harmful and banned by Central Govt, Health ministry during March, 2016. The Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) supported the ban. *Your skin ‘breaths’ through its pores which are not to be closed for long. Blocking pores by creams may cause more pimples. HOMOEOPATHIC medicines are taken internally. Hence, NO DIRECT CONTACT with your delicate and sensitive skin, thereby no problem of skin allergy. Homoeopathy has good treatment without causing adverse effects. The medicines work internally, tackle the root of the problem unlike face cream which is a surface treatment. Take Antim crd 200—once daily in the morning.

Ingrown Fingernail - 5 Ways You Can Treat It!

MBBS, MD - Dermatology , Venereology & Leprosy

Ingrown Fingernail - 5 Ways You Can Treat It!

When your nail grows into the layer of skin around it, you develop ingrown fingernails- a rather painful and uncomfortable condition. Some of the most common causes of ingrown fingernails are improper trimming, nailbiting, fungal infection, excessive slow or fast growth and fungal infection.

Treating an ingrown fingernail

  1. Firstly, you need to dip the affected finger in lukewarm water for 15-20 minutes at least twice a day. The warm water therapy will help to alleviate the swelling. Make sure to dry the finger after each dip as leaving the finger wet might aggravate the problem.
  2. Jam a tiny bit of cotton beneath the edge of your nail right after soaking so as to lift the nail away from the skin surface. Doing this for a number of times every day can be of great help. Lifting the nail away from the skin would permit the nail to grow past the skin.
  3. Vinegar water is a very effective home remedy for treating ingrown fingernails. If you find your ingrown nail to be infected, then make sure to use vinegar for treating it. Mix 4 parts water with 1 part vinegar and soak the infected nail in the vinegar solution for at least 15-20 minutes. Dry the finger completely after taking it out. Repeating this procedure for 2-3 days would minimize the infection.
  4. Hydrogen Peroxide or H2O2 is a superb disinfectant which can effectively heal an ingrown fingernail. Get 35% food grade H2O2- take 2 tablespoons of it and dilute it with half a bucket of water. Now dip your affected fingernail in this solution for 15-20 minutes. The hydrogen peroxide treatment is considered the most effective treatment for ingrown nails since it not only makes the skin around the affected area soft, but also helps to allay the pain and infection. Make sure to dry your nail properly after the soak.
  5. Tea tree oil is an essential oil which works wonders against cases of infection. The antifungal and antibacterial properties of tea tree oil make it a very effective remedy against ingrown fingernails. Add a few drops of tea tree oil into lukewarm water and soak the fingernail for 15-20 minutes at least 2-3 times a day. You can also take about 4 drops of tea tree oil and mix it with one tablespoon of olive oil and massage the affected site gently.

The absorption of oil into the infected area would make the surrounding skin soft and give you prompt relief.

I am facing a pimples problem no resolution from long time. Have undergone lot of treatment but no issue.
Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar for 5 minutes after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

Sir, I have a problem now my lips colour is black. I do not know what ido. I want my old lips colour red. Please help...
Follow these best tips to get red lips:- * moisturize your lips you must keep your lips moisturized if you want them to stay healthy and therefore pink. If you are going outside, try applying a bit of petroleum jelly or lip balm and if you are inside, use some milk fat (ghee). * use pomegranate seeds and milk. Crush up the pomegranate seeds and mix it with some milk cream. If you apply this home remedy to your lips regularly, you will start to see them becoming redder and fuller. * apply cucumber juice simply slice a cucumber, rubbing it against your lips to allow the juices to soak on. If you do this for five minutes each day, you can lighten dark lips to a beautiful pink color. * mix rose petals in milk. Soak some rose petals in milk for a little bit of time. Then use the petals to make a paste, adding a few drops of both glycerin and honey. Apply the paste on your lips and wait fifteen minutes before gently rubbing it off using milk. * massage with lemon juice cut a thin slice from the lemon, sprinkling a bit of sugar on top and rub your lips with this combination each day. This works well because lemon works to naturally bleach your lips, returning them to their light, pink color while sugar works to remove dead skin cell. * mix honey, almond oil and sugar mix sugar, honey and a little bit of olive or almond oil. Apply this to your lips, massaging it in for ten minutes.
