Just a reminder, adult teeth are not milky white, they have a slight yellowish tinge. Your teeth might be becoming yellow due to stain deposition on the teeth surface, they are not removed by brushing. Go for professional cleaning of teeth which will remove stains and calculus present on the teeth. If you are not satisfied with the results, go for bleaching.

•If your cavity in the tooth is caused by decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. •If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection.

Hello, you need to visit the dentist and get an x-ray of the teeth. If there is a cavity, get it filled. If there is infection below the roots of the teeth, root canal treatment needs to be done. If its a wisdom tooth, it would be best if you get it removed.

Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need cleaning and artificial enamel filling or root canal treatment. Advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Hello lybrate-user! You are 23 years old and according to you your upper lateral incisor is tilted. Well tilting or crowded teeth are a part of malocclusion (improper alignment of teeth) and extraction is not always the best line of management. Since you are young and we are looking at the upper front tooth which forms a major component of a persons appearence (smile) I would advise you to see a competent Orthodontist (braces specialist). He will take appropriate measures (xrays, impressions etc.) and help in advising you the correct line of treatment. May be the tooth can be brought out and aligned properly in the arch. Or if there is no space there could be space creation by extraction of a Premolar tooth and subsequently moving the adjacent teeth behind to make space for the lateral incisor. (All this is valid if the tooth you are mentioning is not a deciduous tooth. If it is a milk tooth then your permanent tooth might have been stuck inside the bone and there could be the possibility to bring that tooth out and align it. All in all these descisions can be only made after the orthodontist examines. So please do visit a good orthodontist and he will give you good options to your problem. Thanks, take care, Cheers.

I have ulcers in my mouth. I visited many doctors but it was not helpful. So can you please help me out.
The common causes of ulcer are bad digestion and vitamin deficiency. The other causes include hormonal changes, change in dietary pattern, increased level of stress, change in your medicine, girls sometimes gets ulcers before mensuration cycle. To treat the ulcers, start becosule tablets 3 times a day for 5 days. Apply dologel or mucopain on the ulcer 3 to 4 times a day. You can also apply glycerine. These are for the temporary relief. For permanent solution, drink plenty of water, eat more of fruits and raw vegetables, reduce your stress level and check for any other factors that are causing you ulcers.

By using a wire brush, gently clean between brackets (under the wires) to get the plaque off. It is very necessary to keep the mouth free from plaque during the orthodontic treatment.

Two types of treatment available for you. If gap is more and your teeth are not in normal position then you require orthodontic (wire & braces) treatment. If your teeth are in normal alignment then you can go for teeth veneering to cover the gap.

Most people say that after drinking tea one shouldn't drink water as it effect tooth health. Is it true.

Most people say that after drinking tea one shouldn't drink water as it effect tooth health. Is it true.
Drinking water after having tea is good for blood circulation. But drink cold water immediately on hot tea causes teeth sensitivity problems and you should avoid that. Wait for 2 5 minutes and then drink water. Or drink water earlier than having tea.
