Milk production increases on it own eventually. As you start feeding her and as her demands will increase, the body will start producing more milk on its own to fulfill your child's need.

You should not use antibiotics frequently especially without doctor's prescription. It may be seasonal viral infection or allergy. Show to a good pediatrician.

My child is a 4 year old. But he have a problem, that he is suffer fever frequently between 24-30 days continued. What shall I do at first ? But I had consulted with a doctor and prescribe some medicine, but not works properly. What shall I do, at first for my child ?

Dear parent can see your concern. But till the age of 5 years get 5--6 episodes of cough and cold and some fever too but usually it's viral so not much treatment is needed give paracetamol and some decongestant and honey with ginger or honey with lemon or tulsi but if fever is more or breathing is fast or difficult immidiately consult the doctor hope this held.

My son age 5 years height 78cm and weight is 23 kg. His body growth is very thin and he doesn't like have any frood. He doesn't wills to consume food. We forcefully feed food. What to do for his good health any medication required.

M.D.( Pediatrics), DCH
Pediatrician,
Average weight for his age is 15-24 and hight 100-115 cms. Height is mostly determined by genetic factors unless the child is chronically ill or have endocrinal disorder. Force feeding doesn't help. Respect his choice for taking meals. We can not control children at the most can guide them.

Diet you are giving may be heavy and good as per your perception but may not be sufficient for bay. Give him well cooked oily diet frequently including milk. Continue breast milk till 2 years of age.

Hello, my son is about to reach 2.5 old and still does not speak much. Though he listens and understands all our instructions & talks but does not feel compelled much to repeat us. He says only bare minimum required words to get his work done. He is quite active in playing with toys and ball games, but much behind than his age group children when it comes to articulate his expressions. Many a times he want to say a full statement but end up saying so many jibberish words, looks like he want to say so much things but not able to do so due to some speech problem. Could you please guide me on should we show him to a speech therapist or a psychiatrist? Are these signs of speech problems? Thanks in advance.

As you have narrated that your son understand instruction. Talk, get his work done in minimum (relevant) words, active and play games. Only your problem is that he does not articulate or communicate in flow and is not able to express in one go. These are all normal activity at this age. He listen more and speak less but retain every conversation in his mind. I do not consider him as abnormal. It is better 1st to consult psychiatrist than speech therapist.

My due is on July first week and am choosing breast feeding which foods r good for that which food I need to avoid also am worried will I get milk after birth bcoz I don't find any symptoms please advice.

MBBS, MD
Pediatrician, Gurgaon
You don't feel any change because heaviness of breast is very gradual process. Milk will surely come if you desire it. So no anxiety apply to breast as possible after delivery. Thanks.
