I used to have 16-17cup of tea throughout the day. I smoke. Nd usually I am on desktop watching movies and listen to classical songs. But I can not get my proper sleep from last 1 yr. I eat non veg - veg both type of meals as well as m working man. Most of the day I used to have bike rides and there is no sign of sleep even after 3-4 days. My sleep timing went on another level. Please help me out. Tell me what to do. I need to improve my self and weight is getting low by low months to months. Tell me a diet and way to get rid out of it please.

You have developed caffein overload by drinking so much tea. You must stop drinking regular tea immediately and drink herbal tea instead, which can be had as many times. Formula is: Boil a piece of ginger, 4 tulsi leaves, 4 mint leaves, a piece of cinnamon, 2 cardamoms for 5 mins. Add jaggery (not sugar). Quitting smoking is best. You may develop heart related problems in a few years. Start exercising for at least 45 mins daily. It will help you sleep.

Wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, avoid touching your face or picking up the pimples and blotches as it further spreads the bacteria. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Drink lots of water. You may use salicylic acid face wash. For scalp acne ,gently washing the scalp regularly with shampoo and warm water can help many conditions improve on their own. It is important to minimize irritation to the scalp that can come from razors, hair products, high heat, and chemical treatments. These can cause inflammation and irritation that can lead to further complications. The kinder you are to your scalp and skin, the less likely you are to have problems. The key to treating scalp acne is to prevent your pores from clogging. It’s the oil blockage and buildup that causes acne. Keeping your scalp clean is important. But you’ll want to make sure your shampoo or conditioner isn’t causing your scalp acne. If you suspect your shampoo or conditioner is causing the issue, you may consider trying some new products. For mild and moderate acne try products with ingredients like: salicylic acid: exfoliates dead skin cells so they do not enter pores and cause acne, but less effective than benzoyl peroxide glycolic acid: helps with exfoliation and kills micro bacteria ketoconazole or ciclopirox: antifungal agents in antidandruff shampoos tea tree oil: antibacterial properties may help fight acne jojoba oil: may not get rid of acne, but adding to your shampoo may help reduce acne inflammation Consult a dermatologist for proper treatment.

Hello , causes of colonic slow transit constipation include diet, hormonal disorders such as hypothyroidism, side effects of medications, and rarely heavy metal toxicity. For constipation: pls use heavy fiber food. More fluids in your diet. Drink butter milk regularly. Pls dont go under heavy medication. You need to intake protein which is easily digestible. Try to avoid meat. Add color to your food, in a way of green vegetables in your diet. You need to go with supplements of protein from natural sources. B-complex vitamins. Fiber. Let me know if I can suggest you the best nutrition which won't cause any side effects. Have a healthy life.

I am suffering one acute pain which is moving lower hip joints. Sometime at left side & sometimes at right side. Sometimes it moves upwards also. When gas release, pain is comparatively less. Joint pain has nothing to do with gas ,may be you are taking analgesics for pain causing gastritis better you take some ppi like pantocid dsr along with it once a day, get an X-ray both hip done and consult orthopaedic surgeon.

Please follow my prescription. 1) Vaccininum 200, in no 30 globules ,to be taken four globules twice daily before food for 7 days and wait for 15 days than start the medicine, 2) Sulphur 200, in no 30 globules, to be taken four globules twice daily before food for 10 days and report me the result for next medicine.

Its for my mother, age 48. Having a serious hair problem. My mom used hair colour (like Garnier, Super vasmal).& it's very harmful for hair. Now my mom's hair is whiten almost 60%.& hair fall in regular basis. Local doctor advised not to take any more color or hena. Bt my mom is loosening self-confidence & hv anxiety with it. As my mother also hv dust allergy. Her skin becomes darken. After using colour Is there any solution to get back black hair and stop hair falling? Dear graying of hair is natural at this age and hair colour added to it.Try the remedies they will help her:: 1.Massage with bhrigraj oil thrice a week. 2.Take 15 ml amla juice empty stomach on regular basis. 3. Use herbal shampoo. 4. Get T3, T4, TSH tests done.

It might in some cases, if you are suffering from any deficiency. If not, it can be a hereditary problem. Amla juice is side effect free, you can always give it a try.

It is common to have some bakache in pregnancy. Please make sure there is no urinary infections. Back massages, calcium and vit d supplements should help. Also make sure she wears good supportive footwear during the day.

A sports players should replace minimum 80% of sweat loss which is approx. 4 to 8 swallows of sports drink every changeover. Failure to do this might lead to cramping and stiffening of muscles. A person who is not into sports should drink at least 3 liters of water that is 10 glasses a day to avoid cramping and stiffness. About 75% of people suffer muscle spasm due to less intake of water.

You are underweight according to your height. To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1.Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2.Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a.Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B.Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C.If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D.Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E.Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F.You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G.You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow the regimen of weight gain religiously and you will soon start seeing the results.

hello rahul, this seems to be due to swollen gums. whenever there is deposition of plaque and calculus around teeth, gum infection takes place, due to which gums become swollen and stars bleeding. visit a dentist soon for professional cleaning of your teeth. this will help in removing the cause of infection and hence bleeding also will stop within some days. meanwhile you can do warm saline rinses twice a day. maintain proper oral hygiene.

DEAR Lybrate USER. You have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time.. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day …2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals. 3) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal…4) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale food. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits A) take 30ml of triphala juice and 10 ml of honey early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. B) take 30 ml of aloevera juice along with 30ml of lukewarm water. C) take 10 gm of black cumin seeds along with 10 gm of jiggery after meals. D) apply paste of honey and fresh lemon juice on face with gentle massage, leave it for 20-30 minutes, after that wash face with lukewarm water. Do this two times in a day. Do all things for 30 days it gives you good relief from your problems.

1.You may be having anxiety or stress. Avoid stress. 2.You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy. 3.Go for regular exercise, Take part in games and sports, 4.Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion, relieve anxiety and improve concentration. 5.Take light dinner. 6.Avoid taking tea/coffee at bed time 7.Don’t go to sleep immediately after dinner.Take a small walk after dinner and if possible take hot water bath before sleep. Read a light magazine or interesting book before going to bed 8. Avoid late night. 9.Don’t sleep in day time 10.Don’t take sleeping pill 11. If no relief consult doctor

You might need some more time to adjust to the new enviornment and new subjects, new teachers etc. It is also important to see if you have chosen the subject/stream of your choice. If you do not find the subjects interesting it will be difficult for you to score good marks. Don't compare yourself with anyone else. Do not fall under parental or peer pressure. Set your own, realistic goals and try to achieve them. Also understand that failures are part of our lives. Your failures do not make you worthless. Do not worry about what others think about you. Have faith in your abilities and keep trying consistently. All the best.
