Sir, I am suffering from Ankylosing spondylitis in my both hip joints from 9-10 years. The Doctors are adviced that both hip joints should replace immediately. This treatment cost is so high for me. Please sugest me any low cost treatment to reduce my pain. My age is 39 yrs.

Go for detoxification of body by vaman & virechana first. after that start with snehan/ swedan of the joint. It will definitely improve in 1 month & you will not need to undergo replacement.

Heel pain is a very common foot problem. Try few home remedies for heel pain rest - avoid running or standing for long periods, or walking on hard surfaces. Avoid activities that may stress the heels. Ice - place an ice-pack on the affected area for about 15 minutes. Do not place bare ice directly onto skin. Footwear - proper-fitting shoes that provide good support are crucial. Athletes should be particularly fussy about the shoes they use when practicing or competing - sports shoes need to be replaced at specific intervals (ask your trainer). Foot supports - wedges and heel cups can help relieve symptoms. If these doesn't help please see a physiotherapist who can teach you exercises which stretch the plantar fascia and achilles tendon, as well as strengthening the lower leg muscles, resulting in better stabilization of the ankle and heel. You may also be taught how to apply athletic taping, which gives the bottom of the foot better support. Prevention of heel pain involves reducing the stress on that part of the body. Tips include: barefeet - when on hard ground make sure you are wearing shoes. Bodyweight - if you are overweight there is more stress on the heels when you walk or run. Try to lose weight. Footwear - footwear that has material which can absorb some of the stress placed on the heel may help protect it. Examples include heel pads. Make sure your shoes fit properly and do not have worn down heels or soles. If you notice a link between a particular pair of shoes and heel pain, stop wearing them. Rest - if you are especially susceptible to heel pain, try to spend more time resting and less time on your feet. It is best to discuss this point with a specialized health care professional. Sports - warm up properly before engaging in activities that may place lots of stress on the heels. Make sure you have proper sports shoes for your task. Best wishes.

It is very common to have back pain after Delivery. Moving around may be just what your body needs. Exercises to strengthen your abdominal muscles and increase flexibility may be helpful too. Choose a gentle form of exercise, such as walking. Walking is safe to start almost immediately after Delivery.Take it slowly and keep walks short in the first few weeks. (Swimming, which helps strengthen your muscles without putting undue stress on your joints, is another good option later on.) Make pelvic tilts exercises a part of your daily routine. Do gentle stretching exercises or yoga. Avoid overstretching or extreme positions. Pay attention to your posture and stand up straight. Sit up straight, too. Think about your posture when feeding your baby, whether you're nursing or bottle-feeding. If you have low back pain, try using a footstool to keep your feet slightly raised off the floor. Choose a comfortable chair with armrests, and use lots of pillows to give extra support to your back and arms. Always bend from your knees and lift objects and children from a crouching position to minimize the stress on your back. Let someone else lift heavy objects ā€“ this isn't the time to risk throwing your back out. (If you've had a c-section, you shouldn't be lifting anything heavier than your baby for at least eight weeks.). Best wishes

Initial treatment is conservative. Try: 1. Rest to affected elbow, wear a tennis elbow band. 2. Ice pack application will help 3.Medications like Cartigen DN, Tendocare and Enzomac forte will help. 4. Intralesional injections offer great help. 5. Ultrasound or laser treatment is believed to be effective in recent times. If you do not get relief with above measures then opt for intralesional steroid injection.

It must be investigated. Get a mri of the knee. You would probably need arthroscopic knee surgery. It is a very safe procedure in our hands with uniformly good results. We have very good well equipped center in delhi. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don? t ignore it lest it become beginning of a bigger problem.
