If you have a fast metabolism and you want to bulk up, changing the way you eat and exercise can help you gain weight more quickly. While you can always gain weight by eating junk food and getting little exercise, the healthier way to do it is by eating plenty of nutrient-rich food and weight training to build up your muscle mass. It?s not going to happen overnight, but if you start right away you?ll see results within a few weeks. Eat more than three meals a day. If you naturally have a really fast metabolism, eating three meals a day, Eating this much can take a lot of effort, since you need to stock up on enough food to feed yourself more often. Pack calorie-rich snacks you can eat on the go, like bananas and peanut butter or dense granola bars. Eat plenty of calories at every meal. Eating five small, low-calorie meals isn?t going to cut it; they?ve got to be big and rich in calories. Load up on a restaurant-sized meal each time, with big portions of meat, vegetables, and a carbohydrate. Eating this much might not exactly feel comfortable, but it?s the best way to gain weight fast.[2] ? A large enough breakfast might consist of a three-egg omelet, two slices of bacon or sausage, a cup of roasted breakfast potatoes and a glass of orange juice. ? For lunch, try a fully dressed turkey club on whole wheat bread, two bananas, and a salad. ? Dinner could be a grilled steak, loaded baked potato and a few cups of grilled veggies. I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating.

Dear lybrate-user, Stop taking these pills. They do not help. On the other hand, you are already experiencing the side effects. It may take a month for your periods to normalize. Eat fresh fruits, drink aelovera juice one glass daily. This should help. Regards.

Dear, your bmi is 21.1 slightly on a lower side but you are falling in normal body weight category. You can gain muscle mass by having protein rich diet. Do not go for any otc products, you can have a couple of eggs every day for breakfast along with regular intake of dal, fresh salads and milk products. Best of luck.

My son siddhant aged 14 years is getting weak and thin day by day since last 2-3 months. Earlier his body weight was around 79-80 kg. But at present his body weight is reduced to 69-70 kg. He is looking weak, thin and exhausted. However his height got increased during last two to three months. Earlier i.e.before 3-4 months his waist size was 38 now his waist size reduced to 32-33. please suggest that there is any medical problem to my son or not? One thing is quiet remarkable in him. The disproportionate weight to his age. His age is 14 and he weighed 80kg is abnormal. His height is increasing is good sign. Apparently he is not weak. You must take alfafa tonic thrice a day two spoons each time fir one month and add banana shake, grapes juice, mango shake in your diet daily for one month. You should go for walk daily atleast three to four km's.

Dear, if you tired very fast and feeling weakness. Then you will definitely recover from weakness by following these very useful tips. * you should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, milk, chapattis or rice, butter / cream, cereals (daals) or cheese every day. Very important thing, do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time. * proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours, then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep. * do breathing execises daily in morning & evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes, take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. You can also do pranayams like anulom vilom for better results. *take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. You can do it on treadmill also. * you can take ashvagandha churn of baidyanath 1 teaspoon with milk daily for 2 months atleast to get your strength back. * check out your haemoglobin level in 3 months, if it is low you get tired early. So get treatment of low haemoglobin (anemia). If you have any disease like asthma /diabetes / hypertension, then get complete treatment of them. * avoid all fast foods and habit of smoking or drinking. You surely get great strength and recover from weakness by following these important things.

You have thyroid problem, that's why your weight is increasing. You can follow balance diet. Avoid rice at night. You consumed 1glass lukewarm water in the morning. Then after go for a brisk walk atleast 45 minutes. Take small and frequent meals. Drink more water. Avoid junk food. And avoid soya product. Spinch, reddish, capsicum use limited amount.

1. Keep a food diary. Chart what and when you eat every day for several weeks to learn about your eating habits and identify places to add calories. 2. Add it up. Try adding an extra 200+ calories a day in the beginning, and adjust up or down depending on results. 3.Focus on quality, not quantity. Even when you’re trying to gain weight, burgers, chips, and milkshakes all day (’err day) isn’t great for a body. Instead, choose nutrient-dense foods from all food groups.@Good options include whole grains like whole wheat pasta, fruits and vegetables, nuts, and lean protein. 4.Eat more frequently. And never skip meals! It’s easy to feel full fast when you start introducing more calories into each meal; changes in food intake might also bring on gastrointestinal issues and even acne. Make things easier on your belly by spreading calorie intake out over five to six smaller meals throughout the day. 5.Snack smart. Choose calorie-dense snacks like nuts, cheese, dried fruits, yogurt with granola, avocados, and pretzels or whole grain crackers with nut butters or hummus. If leaving the house for a while, pack snacks for calories-on-the-go. 6.Drink it down. Instead of diet soda and other low-cal drinks, choose filling, high-calorie beverages like smoothies, healthy shakes, or liquid meal replacements. Drink fluids in between meals to add calories and to avoid filling up on beverages during meals (which might make people eat less solid food). 7.Eat before bed. A lot of healing and regeneration happens while we sleep, so eating before bed can give your body the nutrients it needs to do the work. Nom down on a PB&J or a wrap with avocado, vegetables, and lean meat or cheese. 8.Set attainable goals. And remember to be patient. Just like weight loss, weight gain is a process—and often a slow one. Gaining might take years, so don’t give up hope if you don’t pack on immediate pounds. The rate at which a person needs to gain weight depends on their health goals and current health status, and a physician or nutritionist can help establish a reasonable goal weight. Signs of reaching an ideal weight include increased energy, stabilized hunger patterns, and overall good health. 9. Get support. It’s important to have a strong support system throughout the process of gaining weight, both to help gainers achieve their goals and to cope with the emotional issues that might arise from bodily changes. One of the best ways to adjust to changing size is to spend time noticing and appreciating how your “new” body appears in the mirror, says Greatist Expert and psychologist Ellen Langer. 10. Dress well. Don’t put off feeling good about your appearance. Talk nicely to yourself and choose outfits that make you feel good, no matter what you weigh.
