Diets that are deficient in vitamin C can cause severe dental problems, including loose teeth and bleeding gums. Try a salad with citrus fruits, such as orange or grapefruit sections, to boost your body's ability to fight those destructive symptoms, as well as plaque. Be sure to buffer citrus fruits by including them as part of a meal, because their acid content could potentially erode tooth enamel.

Hello sir mere mouth me chhale ho gye hai 3. To sir iski aap koi dawa batao ki ye chhale theek ho jaye.

Mouth ulcers are aggravating at best and may be extremely painful. Also called canker sores or aphthous ulcers, mouth ulcers can be triggered by various factors, including stress, illness, or simply biting your cheek. Rinse your mouth with a saltwater solution. Mix a teaspoon or two of salt with a warm glass of water and let it dissolve. Swish the solution in your mouth from side to side, then spit it into the sink. Don’t swallow the salt solution. Repeat this a few times a day, generally after meals and before you go to bed. Apply some honey to the ulcer. Dab a small amount of pure honey onto the ulcer. This may help ease pain and reduce inflammation. Dry the area with a clean cotton swab first, then use a fresh swab to apply the honey. Look for Manuka honey, as it has the most potent antibacterial qualities. If you can’t find it, though, any kind of honey will help fight bacteria. Suck on ice chips. Stay away from acidic and spicy foods. Try vitamin supplements. Vitamins B and C may help to heal mouth ulcers For medication consult online in private.

The doctor said this is a case of oral lichen planes but the oral condition is not recovered we know about the oral cancer center for confirming the case is not oral cancer. Please advice

You go and consult another dental surgeon, if it is oral lichen planus, take a treatment for it. Lichen planus is autoimmune disease so it will take time for healing.

I felt so much pain in my tooth since yesterday night, at morning I took medicine from a dentist but still it's pain continuously. & I can't eat food because of this.

Mostly continuous pain is due to cavities. You may need to go for rootcanal treatment or extraction of teeth.

Oral Health
  • Oral health touches every aspect of our lives but is often taken for granted. Your mouth is a window into the health of your body. It can show signs of nutritional deficiencies or general infection. Systemic diseases, those that affect the entire body, may first become apparent because of mouth lesions or other oral problems.
  • Whether you are 80 or 8, your oral health is important. Most americans today enjoy excellent oral health and are keeping their natural teeth throughout their lives; however, cavities remain the most prevalent chronic disease of childhood. Some 100 million americans fail to see a dentist each year, even though regular dental examinations and good oral hygiene can prevent most dental disease. Many people believe that they need to see a dentist only if they are in pain or think something is wrong, but regular dental visits can contribute to a lifetime of good oral health. If you are experiencing dental pain, don't put off seeing a dentist. With dentistry's many advances, diagnosis and treatment are more sophisticated and comfortable than ever.
  • You can practice good oral hygiene by always brushing your teeth twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between your teeth once a day with floss or another interdental cleaner, replacing your toothbrush every three or four months and by eating a balanced diet and limiting between-meal snacks. Don't forget to schedule regular dental check-ups to keep your smile, and yourself, healthy.

Asking your doctor if an antiobiotic medicine can be taken is advisable as it can help in reducing the infection and swelling. It can also be taken after the treatment for faster healing.

Dear Lybrateuser, - You should at least brush your teeth twice a day in the morning & after dinner before sleep, ideally it is after every meal, brush for about two min, do warm salt water gargles 2-3 times a day for your problem - get plaque removed by a dentist if it doesn't go away with brushing - brush gently with a soft brush.
