Tk soft pillow for back support and stretching exercise in daily routine. Avoid long sitting and toward bending. Tk physiotherapy treatment for few days.

Hi My wife was pregnant and after 27 weeks she got aborted on 18th february 2015. We don't know the exact reason but doctor said it was because of lack of rest. She was doing normal household work and she is mother to 2 babies of 7 years and 3. 5 years. Even after 2 months her health is not ok. She is suffering from body pain especially in the right leg (opposite side of knee) and right hand. She is also having little bleeding occasionally. Not only blood some other white particles are also coming out. Whenever she is walking or doing work for some time, she is not feeling well. We consulted 2-3 gynecology doctors but they are taking it too simple. Any one please help.

Your wife has 2 problems. One related to gynae.& that must be looked after by gyne. Doctor. For the other problem. This is quite a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind)1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do back(spine) exercises contact me again if need be. But make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

Causes and Symptoms of Stress Fracture

Stress fractures are small cracks that may appear in a bone. It occurs due to repetitive application of force in the same area. It is very common among various sports such as running, tennis and football. It may also occur due to osteoporosis as this disorder weakens the bones and allows stress fractures to occur easily.

The majority of stress fractures occur due to overuse of a specific muscle. The bones and the muscles used in a specific movement do not get time to recover, thus leading to stress fracture.

Causes: The major cause of stress fracture is change in physical activity, such as a sudden increase in exercise. The other factors that may lead to stress fracture are -

  1. Poor conditioning: If you are starting an exercise regimen without proper preparation, then it may cause stress on the muscles. It is important that you condition your body before doing any intense activity to prevent injuries.
  2. Bone insufficiency: Various disorders such as osteoporosis reduces bone strength and increases the likelihood of a stress fracture. If you have low bone density then you are at a higher risk of having stress fractures.
  3. Change in surface: Change in surface like shifting from running on grass to road tends to cause more stress on the legs, thus increasing the likelihood of a fracture.
  4. Improper form: Performing any exercise with improper form may lead to a number of injuries. It is recommended to learn the correct technique before exercising, so you may use a spotter or a trainer to guide you.

Symptoms
The symptoms of a stress fracture are: 

  1. Pain: You may experience dull to severe pain if you have stress fractures. The severity of pain will depend on the severity of the fracture.
  2. Swelling: Pain may be accompanied by swelling on the sides and the top of the foot.
  3. Tenderness: Stress fractures may cause tenderness in the muscles around the affected area.

For your thigh pain you can do rectus femoris muscle stretching and hot fermentation over the region. And for your shoulder pain you go for. Gentle Shoulder Stretching. Core Strengthening Exercises. Gentle Neck Exercises. Avoid sleeping on affected side. Warm up and cool down is a must.

Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front.

I suggest you follow the below for your condition: take mag phos 6x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Also do x-ray of the affected area. Heat and ice packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately. You have to stop bike-riding. Take a morning walk daily for 30 minutes.

Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

Please apply ice=packs for some time if it relieves. If there is any insect-bite then apply Dettol / Savlon/ Calendula Q. If you have had a sprain/a-pull then that needs to be identified.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Ruta 200 (4 drops in little water) every morning empty stomach only one dose in a day for a week. 2. Rhus tox 200 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 3. Calci aid (bakson) (2tabs) thrice a day for a week and update. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines.
