hi ..Homeopathic medicines are prescribed after detailed analysis and evaluation of symptoms so i need detailed case history to find out cause and treat accordingly. do you have history of fall / trauma / injury to back since childhood ? how long do you have backache ? Do you experience any pain when you cough or sneeze? Have you noticed any clumsiness of the legs or feet lately? When did pain become severe? Did the pain begin after a work related injury? Few Homeopathic medicines that are effective in back pain treatment are Rhus Tox, Bryonia Alba, Aesculus Hippocastanum, Kali Carb, Arnica Montana and Hypericum Perforatum. you can consult me online for homoeopathic treatment without side effects.

I am suffering with serious neck pain (spondylosis). Please help me to get rid off it.

Dip. SICOT (Belgium), MNAMS, DNB (Orthopedics), MBBS
Orthopedist, Delhi
Hello, thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You will have to elaborate your problem as to a detailed discussion of your neck pain which means duration of pain and mode of onset. I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any radiating upper limb pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias (electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. Please also tell me about any associated symptoms like fever, weight loss etc. What medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. If you have a localized kind of pain in your neck then I can suggest you some initial steps: - to maintain proper posture of your neck while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication which suits you like tab etoshine, tab paracetamol etc. - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home focusing on isometric exercises for your neck region. - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. Please try this for 2-3 weeks and if your symptoms are still persisting, then it is wise to get some investigations done. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Thanks & regards

Hi, I am 28 years old female and have headache and lower backache for last 4 months .I have used pain relief ointment...
This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. It looks like you are anaemic. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain.

Uric acid test result 7.3 how to control it and shoulder and joint pain high what I Do?

Uric acid test result 7.3 how to control it and shoulder and joint pain high what I Do?
You shoulder will become stiff and the movements would be diminished. For the right hand pain it might be due to carpal tunnel syndrome, where the pain will be felt in the wrist. You can do hot water fermentation/ wax therapy for shoulder and for the wrist pain (hand pain) you can do ice therapy which will reduce the pain.

I started going to gym from 4th April. From that day I have pain in my back and shoulders. What should I do?

I started going to gym from 4th April. From that day I have pain in my back and shoulders. What should I do?
Try and slowly increase the intensity of your workouts, ask your gym trainer to make you do a longer warm-up before you commence on the exercises. Remember to take lots of fluids like water or even energy drinks to avoid dehydration and also maintain your supply of glucose to burn out in the gym and also help prevent cramping up. If you are having severe pain niw, I would advise you to avoid going to the gym for 4-5 days and slowly resume while doing all of the above. Hope this helps.
