I am having back pain since 3 years I have done mri as it was prescribed by the doctor there is a buldge in lower spine. Doctor said it should not pain at high but I am having constant pain in lower back have taken the physiotherapy medicines nothing much was in the favor please help.

Quadriceps exercises-lie straight ,make a towel role and put it under the knee ,pressthe knee against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Ankle pain. Our suggestion would be to do hot water fermentation along with Cold (ice) therapy. You shall also keep a pillow under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes.

Doctor I had gap of 4 to 5 years in exercise. From last 15 days I again started regular exercise n meditation. While doing sit ups there is noise from my knees n ankle. please let me know the reasons and what care shall I take so that it stops. Sometimes from bones while doing movement.

Hello- noise coming from the knees is due to decreased synovial fluid in your knee joint which is causing friction between two bones which makes joint. >continuous friction may lead to joint pain and swelling in near future. >looking at your age you should follow these schedules- 1) do warm sesame oil massage daily on your knees twice. 2) increase dietary products that can increase synovial fluid (ghee, milk, malai etc.) 3) avoid foods that are harmful to joint structure.(fast food, spicy and junk diet, shila anna) 4) don, t exert too much stress on your knee joint.(sudden running, heavy exercise) 5) wear knee cap for minimizing body load on knee joint. 6) treat your indigestion if having. 7) tray to get a sound sleep (at least 8 hrs a day)

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Simple Knee Exercise Specific knee exercises will also help ie. Keeping ball underneath the knee and keep pressing it. That's the simple exercise which will help you to strengthen the knee Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. Knee pain more than 2 weeks:if your knee is paining since 2 weeks, then you have to rethink whether you had any injury in the previous years. I also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. As arthritis is very common if anyone would've neglected any injury in the previous years. You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation.

I am 26 year old gal. I am suffering from Ankolysing spondylitis for last 3 years now. I am currently taking homeopathy but the situation seems to be worsening more. Earlier the pain was only in the hip area but now it has extended in the legs as well. Using dexona 0.5 mg does help for sometime but there is no relief. While walking a fracture like feeling is there in the spine. Cannot stand for long. Even while travelling in trains if there is pressure on you there is extreme pain. Climbing stairs is painful. Sleeping is even worse. Even coughing and sneezing is problem. Able to use Indian toilet with a lot of difficulty. Pain increases during weekends with no extra activity. Please help. I want to get rid of this pain as it poses a lot of problem in my daily routine. Neither can walk nor jog nor do any other physical activity comfortably.

As you must be aware that with ankylpsing spon there is multiple joint involvement and especially spine. Also thoracic area involvement can cause tightness around chest and sometimes difficulty breathing. Consult a good orthopaedic physiotherapist for a comprehensive exs plan to stretch the tight muslces and loosen joints in spine, breathing exs and strengthening protocol. If you do the exercise daily it can improve your functional ability significantly. Good luck for fast recovery.
