Parent Child Relationship: How To Deal With Children?

Parent Child Relationship: How To Deal With Children?

Being a mental health professional it hurts when we can't prevent suicide. Today's world is a virtual world. Rather than real one we all live in virtual world and virtual relationships are getting stronger day by day rather than real face to face relations. In today's so called world of technology. We forget to obey certain basic rules. We are present with our family/child physically but not mentally. We don't give them a quality time it's not quantity but quality that matters.

We have become insensitive to basic trivial issues of them because we don't listen to them. We take all things for granted we just want to give orders, and want our child to perform always well. We expect all good from our child and when he/she undermine our demands we treat them like anything we compare them with others and by doing dat we force them to do something which is out of there reach and we fail to unreveal there potentials and ability friends we hv to understand dat each human being is a special.

We can not blame schools they will follow what syllabus is telling them government should relook in to d syllabus and make it more acceptable for children's. We can't eliminate stress as it is inevitable...but we can make our child more receptive and resilient to situations and for which spiritual inclination is must:
1) give them Unconditional love and positive regard
2) make them realize about yr availability and presence( sense of security )
3) do listen to them, be more receptive.
4) try to solve there problems
5) empathize with them
6) appreciate them
7) learn to tolerate
8) nurture your child
9) be sensitive to there issues..
10) make them realize that you are always der with him/her
11) understand them
12) take a break (outing/holiday/leisure)

Build a better breakfast, Aim to eat anywhere between 400 and 500 calories for your morning meal, and make sure you're including a source of lean protein plus filling fat (e.g. eggs, beans, unsweetened greek yogurt, nuts or nut butters) and fiber (veggies, fruit or 100% whole-grains). Prioritise real, whole foods, means filling up on fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, low-fat dairy and lean protein. Know your limits with salt Skip sugary beverages Ignore the gimmicks/weight loss hypes Eat your H2O Munch on mineral-rich foods Resist the urge to skip a meal Take a hike or a walk Go to bed/ no sleep deprivation Eat spicy foods seriously cayenne peppers/jalapeños Buy a set of 5-pound weights, strength training builds lean muscle tissue which burns more calories.

Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use aha glow face wash once in a day. Use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar for 5 minutes after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

There are many factors that could be affecting your over all depression and feeling of emptiness. A few of them are: Psychological stress - you might be undergoing stress about a lot of things - work, relationships, family - all these can get you depressed. How you view yourself - you might be thinking that you are a failure, or that you have not achieved anything worthwhile Broken relationships - maybe there is someone in your life that you miss, a parent or sibling, or even a very close friend, and they have left you too soon. Some people feel they have lost a part of themselves when they lose someone. Conflict - do you feel like you want to be someone else but can’t? To do something else but are pressured to stay at your current state? These can make your frustrated and depressed. Solutions: Take a break from your daily routine, and do something that could make you happy, like helping at a community center, playing with a child, or going to a nice quiet place like the beach. Talk to a friend who can understand your situation - it helps that the friend is not going to be judgemental, but it would be okay if that friend is just there to listen. Mend your heart by moving on - accept the loss and let them be part of you, not someone you have lost but someone who lives through you. Do something outrageous and daring - take a roadtrip, join a nature trek, anything that you can do that helps break the shell. Most of all, get professional help if you can afford it. We may suggest things, but we are not experts.

My father's age is 53 had undergone heart surgery last year what all the tests he need to do every year. He is still smoking. Can you tell the health tips he need to follow sir. Please answer sir.

My father's age is 53 had undergone heart surgery last year what all the tests he need to do every year. He is still ...
You should get your father a book written by Dr. Dean Ornish entitled, 'Reversing the Heart Disease'. It will give you all the guidance and more about dealing with heart disease. As for smoking I am sure he would have been told strictly to avoid consumption of tobacco smoke by the heart surgeons. Here are the things you can do for your father to quit smoking: Ideally you must spend a lot of time convincing him to stop the smoking. Of course he will agree sometimes and sometimes he will change his mind. Giving up is difficult but if you highlight the dangers of smoking regularly he may one day decide to quit. Never give up on him. Because of his age and quantity of cigarettes smoked and the length of abuse, he will find is even harder. When quitting, he must take one day at a time. If he looks too far ahead he will get discouraged and will give up. If he sits and counts the number of days he has given up, that will also focus too much on achievement. He must focus on the here and now, on that day to be precise. After all quitting is not that easy due to many factors. So even if he fails one day, he must try and try again. Very few people succeed in their first attempt. His persistence and yours will eventually pay off. The urge to discontinue is hampered by many factors but the worst of them is the conditioning. In fact these conditions can exist all through the day unlike other addictions. But his desire to want to stop is the most important factor. It is important to find out about the ill-effects of smoking to have a reason that alarms him about continuing in the habit. The information is really scary but true and he must remind himself about this every day. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heart beat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. Having had a heart surgery can you imagine the extent of damage he still doing to his heart?! So he must avoid it like the plague: it is just very bad medicine for him. In fact it is highly toxic too. He will need to stop smoking or consuming any tobacco related items with immediate effect. He should start exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time he feels like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. He may also take hard candy or chewing gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine chewing gum or nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces, substantially. He may also join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep him occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i.e. at least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that he has quit smoking. Here’s a piece of very good advice: even if he accidentally/willfully takes a cigarette, it is not the end of the world – he can start the cessation all over again. He must persevere with the best support until he defeats this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest. Everyone who can help him should be involved until he succeeds. If all this does not work, you can admit him into a rehabilitation center and let him stay there until he has completely quit the habit.
