Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Do pranayama meditation regularly with good diet. Take following tabs. R-compound (alarsin company) 2, 2tabs twice morning and evening aswagandha powder 3gms morning and evening with milk. Rhumasyl oil for external application. Review after one month.

Hi Naman, ankle pain maybe due to sprain. Use crepe bandage for ankle and wrap it like figure of 8 around your ankle. Exercises for ankle: draw alphabet from your great toe with ankle movement but your leg should be static while making alphabet. It will maintain your strength of muscle connected with ankle.

I am 66. For the last 6 years, I have noticed the following disorders which are gradually worsening- eds - I have noticed lack of touch sense in penis from 2006 and suddenly, in 2009, eds set in. No erection. Incontinence - started in 2007 and I panicked, got some homeo treatment which didn' t give any relief. Now I am able to identify the onset and rush to nearest bathroom or disaster. Knee pain - since 2011, it started innocuously, but it' s now acute and I need to hold on to something before standing up, flex calf muscles for 10 secs before I can start walking, as the knees are wobbly. Tingling in feet up to waist - this is the 0ne I am worried about most. It was mild at first, in 2010. From 2013, it is constant, I sense 40% distinct decreased touch sensation. I have no sense of urine passing through penis. I have to feel with my finger similar to taking a pulse. Pain from knee down to ankle, heaviness in feet - I can' t walk for 100 yards without my feet getting so heavy that I become immobile. There is constant pain in the shins. My blood sugar test, doppler test of blood vessels in shins, urine test normal. Prostate ultra sound gives slight enlargement for last 10 years. It is not changing. Psa negative. Please advise. Thanx.

It seems from your history that you have significant compression in lower spine region and I must say that you have neglected your treatment to a great extent because if there is peri-anal or saddle numbness, difficulty in passing urine, numbness in legs, you must get yourself evaluated and rule out cauda equina syndrome. I advise you to get in touch of a spine surgeon immediately, get required tests done like mri and x rays of spine, nerve conduction studies of lower limbs and get adequate treatment. Deskjob usually leads to back and neck issues. I assume you are not involved in any physical activity. Go on a proper dieting program the pain which you are experiencing is due to inactivity and weight gain. Start with mild to moderate intensity exercises and diet. Following these instructions will definitely help you.

Hi, back pain at your age is generally postural. Please ensure that you are sitting erect I office as well as home. We generally notice a slouch when the person is working on the computer, doing a desk job, or watching tv. If it still persists, get a vitamin d 3 levels checked. If fine, consult a orthopaed or homoeo doc.

Piles occur when the veins surrounding the anus are inflamed. Occurrence of haemorrhoids can be due to pregnancy, aging, chronic diarrhoea, constipation, straining to pass stool, sitting for long periods,, obesity and genetics. Bleeding occurring in the anal area, itching, discomfort, and swelling may indicate haemorrhoids. Precautions- Have regular food habits as well as habit of going for motion. Don’t avoid when you have an urge for going to toilet. Take 2 to 3 glasses of warm water in the morning. This will help in reducing acidity as well as hardness of stool and you don’t have to strain your pelvic muscles. Keep hydrated by drinking lots of water and having fruits and vegetable juices Avoid sitting for long time at one place. Sedentary habit causes constipation. Driving bike or cycle for long duration at a time may be avoided. Travelling in a car or bus for long journey is also not good. Train is better as you can change positions. Avoid chillies, masalas and such hot foods. Take easily digestible foods including curds and fruits. We have very good treatment in homoeopathy. Take Nux vom 200 twice daily morning and evening and give feedback after 7 days.

1)DO NOT bend forwards.Bending forward does no good to anyone.It might twist your spine for all you know.So whenever you need to bend and pick up something,bend your knees first and not your back and pick up.A slipped disk (also called a herniated disk) happens when a disk between the bones of the spine bulges and presses on nerves,this is often caused by twisting while lifting.Hence,kep your back straight and bend at your knees. DO NOT bend over to lift anything heavy off the ground with knees straight.Lift heavy items with your legs, not your back. Do NOT maintain any one position for a prolonged period.If you have been sitting for an hour,take a break walk for sometime and then continue with your work. Same applies if you have been standing for a prolonged time,take a break and sit for sometime.Stretch your muscles and relax.The best way to stand for a prolonged time is the hotel bar position: one foot on the ground and the other foot on the brass rail, when rail is not available use any raised platform.Every 5 to 15 minutes, switch the foot you’re resting on the stool. DO not arch your back while exercising,watching TV,standing or sitting on a chair.Keep it upright.Avoid crouching postures. DO NOT move anything heavy by pulling it in front of you.Always push and never pull. DO NOT sit with crossed legs,sit with knees slightly higher than the hips.Keep your feet on the foot rest. ...etc

Hello. I can understand your fear. But if the pain is bearable then don't jump on to conclusions and avoid taking pain killers as they will never cure. Better first consult an orthopaedic surgeon and get proper diagnosis. Once you have the diagnosis then consult a good homoeopath for treatment. As it is safe and permanent.
