Hi Doc's. I want to know that, I need to take blood cancer test so for that I need a doctors prescription or something? What test I should take if prescription not needed and this test will tell me about cancer symptoms and all in my body?
There are various types of blood cancers. Diagnosis is always based on the clinical symptoms, signs and investigation reports. You first need to report to a medicine specialist or oncologist for a consultation. Doing investigation without clear examination finding may lead to a misdiagnosis.

All cancers can not be cured. Cure rate depends on various factor like type of malignancy, age, stage, co morbid conditions and many others. Some can be cured, some can be controlled for months to years and in some cases the treatment would be symptomatic relief without aiming to cure the disease.

Sir actually my mother diagnosed with B- ALL and now she is admitted at cancer hospital at Jaipur under the guidance of Dr. She is in induction phase of chemotherapy (just got 15 days treatment) n in her csf report. There are some blast cell also. So I want a personal opinion from you sir. That what should I do.in such situation. In mid of treatment. please help me sir. I am also a doctor and I wan your help sir.
Blasts in CSF is not a rare finding in B ALL. Majority of them get with cured with treatment, though there is a slightly increase risk of CNS relapse in such cases. Your mother will receive little high doses of chemotherapy along with particular drugs which have a higher CNS penetration and intrathecal injections. She may require radiotherapy to brain too. CSF needs to be tested for blasts during subsequent intrathecal injection till it becomes negative.

There is a mobile tower on the terrace of the house opposite to ours. The tower is 30m away from our house. In internet its mentioned that living that close to mobile towers can increase the chances of having cancer and brain tumors. Is it true? Are there any real health hazards of living very close to mobile towers. Kindly advice.
Mobile towers have a relatively low level of radiofrequency emission, these are not carcinogenic. Till date there is no conclusive evidence to prove any significant adverse health event.
