My three years old daughter have eye problem which may be squint or false squint........ I want to know about this issue , can you help me out of this?

Squint is misalignment of visual axis of 2 eyes( means that the 2 eyes are looking in different directions). The different types can detected by few simple tests conducted by ophthalmologist. It is recommended that you should get it examined and treated at this stage as later vision loss progresses which is very difficult to be restored. At this stage it will require aggressive exercises and medications only if it diagnosed with true squint.

I use spectacles with (-1.75) and (-2.25).I want to get rid of specs. Is it possible? If yes, then please suggest remedy.

Yes you can plan for lasik laser surgery/ you need to undergo prelasik checkup first visit lasik center near you.

You have short sight and need eye check up and use the proper glasses or contact lens. You can try Lasik surgery if you do not want glasses.

Hello, use cmd2 eye drop, 2 drop in each eye twice day. Take ruta 30, 3 drops twice daily. Also get your eyes tested by an eye specialist.

Hello, You mean under eye dark circles? Common reasons for dark circle are aging, genetics, nutritional deficiency (of vitamin A, C, K, E), sleep deprivation, worm-infestation, anemia, smoking & drinking, dehydration, sun exposure, allergies, stress/ tension and hormonal changes. Dark circles are linked to anemia, and liver diseases. So, in case of dark circles which are there due to some underlying cause can be get rid rid of once the causative factor is rectified. But the dark circles which are inherited from our genes can't be removed completely, to some extent can make slightly better. Diet and Management: Always take a balanced diet rich in green leafy vegetable, dairy products and all types of fruits to keep your body healthy. It is advisable to have at least 10-12 glasses of water and include fresh fruit daily. It is also advisable to restrict the intake of caffeinated drinks such as tea, coffee, alcohol and other caffeinated drinks as it aggravates dehydration. Take enough of 6-8 hrs. Of sleep. Avoid taking stress/ tension. Do daily exercising regularly as it increases oxygen carrying capacity of the cells and tissues. Hello, Get your eyes tested from an Opthalmologist. Include the following for getting better vision: Vitamins A, C, E, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic and onions. Blueberries, grapes as they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. DHA is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like salmon, sardines and mackerel. Exercises for strengthening Eye muscles: -Begin by partially closing your eyes; the lids should only be halfway shut. After holding for 10-15 seconds, close your eyes very slowly. Take a few deep breaths to increase oxygen in the blood. -Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. -Hold a pen at arm's length. Focus your gaze on the tip of the pen. Bring the pen closer to your nose at a slow and steady pace. Repeat this exercise 5-10 times. -Concentrate your vision on the tip of your nose. Then shift your gaze to an object further away, either at arm's length or 20 feet away. Then shift your eyes back to the tip of your nose. Repeat this exercise 10 times. -Sit in a relaxed but upright position. Begin by look to the left-most position (without moving your head) and hold to stretch your eye muscles. Hold for 5 counts. Blink and return your gaze back to look straight in front of you. Then look to the right-most position with your gaze and hold for 5 counts. Repeat 3 times, blinking between each hold. Then, repeat this exercise looking up and then down. Do not forget about blinking. -Sit in a relaxed but upright position. Look up and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look up to and to your left for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your left for 5 seconds. -One helpful way to do this is to imagine that you are looking at the number 12 on a clock. Then, follow the numbers around the clock with your eyes. Repeat going the other way around the clock. -Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the midpoint of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. -Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing first and then reducing the power of your eyes (if the eye power is less). Take Physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 4-6 months and instill Euphrasia eye drops twice a day. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance. Here are home-remedies to improve eyesight: 1. Take 7 almonds Add 2 tsp fennel seeds Add 1 tsp sugar candy Crush the mixture Add 1 tsp of this mixture to 1 glass warm milk Drink this at bedtime After having this, do not drink anything for 2 hr 2. Take 1 cup warm milk Add ½ tsp liquorice powder Add ¼ tsp clarified butter Add 1 tsp honey Mix well Drink this every day For better results, drink it at bedtime Continue this for 3 months.
