More about Dr. Amit Chitaliya
The field of Pediatrics is a challenging one because it involves reading the symptoms of children who are too small to describe the same on their own. It also needs a large amount of skill and an equal level of patience for someone to specialise in this field. Dr Amit Chitaliya is a Pediatrics specialist based in Ahmedabad. He has gained the trust and regard of his patients and their families over a period of almost 15 years that he has spent in his practice. He has completed his MBBS from the B J Medical College in Ahmedabad, before following it up with a DCH from the same institution. Further, he also has several Fellowships in the area of cardiac health and surgery for his field where deals with such problems when they afflict young children. This is a rare field that requires a lot of study and dedication indeed. He also has several memberships as one of the best pediatricians in Ahmedabad, and is affiliated with the European Respiratory Society as well as the Indian Medical Society and other such organisations. Through his interaction with other professionals from the medical fraternity, he manages to stay abreast with the latest developments and technology available in the various fields that have to do with child health and development. He also aims to put the parents at ease as he discusses the cases and helps them in opening up regarding symptoms and other issues that may have fueled a certain kind of problem or ailment. He is proficient in Hindi and English.

Sir meri sister ki beti abhi 2 months ki hai raat me bahut roti hai lekin din me aaram se rahti hai kya kare?
it is normal ..as babies in momy's womb usually stay sleepy when mother walks in day time..and baby gets better awake time when moms sleep....! walk of mother during pregnancy create pendulam kind a movement of baby in water in womb......so this habit continues usually post 2 to 3 months of birth.

Usually such viral illness takes around a week to settle. You shall concentrate on 2 things fever shall not be there and there shall not be breathless Ness or wheezy chest. So meet your pediatrician to rule out that.

1 cycle of dose shall comprise of 2 doses 15 days apart. I think so far you have given only once. Try another dose at 15 days interval at bed time and of still no effects then get stool test done and meet your doc.

My 10 months old daughter is jerking head. The pediatrician said that its myoclonic jerk and gave levipil 100 mg. Without knowledge about it we just gave 1 ml and stopped. Will be there any effect of this one time use of levipil on her?

No problem with 1 dose nor with more dose it is a safe drug. But meet a pediatric neurologist and get EEG test done to rule out myoclonic jerks it it is positive then must be treated with drugs.

Can Phexin Redisyp 250 mg/5 ml use in the treatment of food infections in babies?
Well depends it is an antibiotic and if your baby has abdominal infection causing diarrhea, vomiting and dehydration your kid doctor might have prescribed such meds. Usually most of the time abdominal infections of such kind are viral in nature formal which no antibiotics are needed.
