How To Avoid Running Injuries?

If you are an avid runner, then you might also be well aware of the type of running injuries one is prone to. It might be foolish to say that running injuries can be prevented. It is because these injuries do happen quite often. Though these cannot be prevented, these can definitely be treated. Furthermore, precautions from your side can always be taken to make sure that these injuries do not cause a major impact on your health and can be cured without much of a hassle. Here are some important points that you need to remember to avoid running injuries or to lessen their adverse impact on your body.

  1. Flexible Body: Flexibility is an important part of a runner’s body. You not only need to have the stamina to run, but also must possess flexible features to get you out swiftly from any serious damage. Flexibility is attained when you do regular exercises and stretching in particular. It makes your muscles resilient towards many injuries and provides your body a better shape and long lasting stamina as well.

  2. Strengthen Your Body: Body strength is required if you want to avoid any sports injuries. Special strength training sessions are organised with the coaches of sportspersons. These sessions help in building up muscle strength. This would, in turn, lessen muscle fatigue and make you able enough to perform better.

  3. Balanced Diet: It does not matter whether you are an athletic or not, a balanced diet is needed for everyone. Balanced diet does not mean picking and choosing of food. It means a proper diet chart, mapping everything that your body needs to stay fit. Furthermore, it should contain ample amount of water to keep you hydrated.

  4. Take Rest When Required: It is often said by the elders that too much of work would ruin your health and body. Thus, even for the athletes, it is important to take rest in between periods of heavy training sessions. This would give you a chance to relax your body and relieve you of all the stress. Furthermore, if you are injured or hurt, it would give you ample time to recover from your injuries.

  5. Wear Proper Shoes: As a runner, you need to take care of all parts of your body. This would also include your legs. Depression risk and olive oil

People whose diets are high in trans fats - fast foods and mass-produced foods like pastries - may have a higher risk of depression, compared with those whose diets are rich in mono- and polyunsaturated fats.

The investigators counted the number of people with depression at the start of the study and then again during each follow-up. Cases of depression had to be those clinically diagnosed by a doctor.

The study authors found that when they compared the volunteers who consumed trans fats regularly with individuals whose dietary fat consisted primarily of olive oil, the trans fat consumers had a 48% higher risk of developing depression.

The amount of trans fat consumed was directly related to depression risk - the more they ate, the higher the risk.

Olive oil may reduce breast cancer risk

A team of scientists at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in Spain found a key mechanism by which virgin olive oil protects the body against breast cancer, in contrast to other vegetable oils.

The researchers decoded a complete cascade of signals within the cells of breast tumors that are activated by virgin olive oil. They concluded that the oil reduces the activity of p21Ras, an oncogene, prevents DNA damage, encourages tumor cell death, and triggers changes in protein signaling pathways.

The team found that while corn oil - which is rich in n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids - increased the aggressiveness of tumors, virgin olive oil had the opposite effect.

They demonstrated that virgin olive oil is linked to a higher incidence of benign (non-cancerous) breast tumors.

Hello, These are some home made tips to get shiny and strong long hair. *Massage the scalp for 10 to 15 minutes after bathing with water. This stimulates the blood circulation and strengthens the hair follicles in the scalp. *Massage the scalp and hair with coconut milk or Aloe Vera gel. Leave it for ½ hour, and then rinse with warm water. Repeat 3 times a week. *Massage into the scalp and hair honey with egg yolk. Leave for a 1/2 hour, then rinse. *Massage almond oil on scalp 2-3 times a day, daily. This will stop further hair loss. *Rinse hair with a mix of apple cider vinegar and sage tea to help hair grow *Make a shampoo by mixing 100 g each of amla (Indian goose berry), reetha, and shikakai and boil in two liters of water until the liquid reduces to half. Use this shampoo for your hair for at least one month. Your hair will become thick.

Hello, this may be because of acidity/ indigestion/ gas you can take 1. Tablet Meftal spas one tablet stat after food 2. Tablet Pantocid 40 mg before food once a day for 2-3 days. And follow care advises given below. Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food take home made light food like moong dal, Dalia, chapatti also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. Kindly consult physician for further management

Normally, the 2 testicles are NOT perfectly equal in size. One scrotal sac usually hangs down a bit more than the other even in normal people. If you want to make sure that you don't have a problem, consult a doctor in person.

किसी भी स्त्री के यौवन की शुरुआत शारीर में कई परिवर्तनों और विकास का सूचक होती है. हालांकि इस बदलाव के साथ ढलने में थोड़ा समय अवश्य लगता है. ये बदलाव सिर्फ शारीरिक और बौद्धिक ही नहीं होता है बल्कि कई बार तो इसकी वजह से स्त्रियों की पूरी दिनचर्या बदल जाती है. माहवारी या मासिक धर्म के दौरान तनाव और दर्द से बचने का सबसे बेहतर तरीका है कि उन दिनों में साफ़-सफाई और स्वच्छता का विशेष ध्यान रखा जाए. सैनिटरी नैपकिन्स के इस्तेमाल से लेकर उन्हें सही तरीके से नष्ट करने तक ऐसी कई चीज़ें हैं जो हमें याद रखनी चाहिए. तो आइए इस लेख के माध्यम से हम आपके “महीने के उन दिनों” में हाइजिन रहने के लिए कुछ बहुत आसान से टिप्स बताएं.
1. टैम्पोंज की जगह मेनस्ट्रूवल कप इस्तेमाल करें
टैम्पोंज कीके बदले मेनस्ट्रूवल कप ज़्यादा आरामदायक होते हैं. क्योंकि कप्स ब्लड फ्लो को सोखने की बजाए उसे इकट्ठा करने का काम करते हैं. यानी इसमें लीकेज की संभावना नहीं है और आपको हर आधे घंटे में बदलने के लिए बाथरूम नहीं जाना पड़ता है. इसके अलावा टैम्पोंज आपको पीड़ादायक और शुष्क महसूस करा सकते हैं.इसलिए जिन स्त्रियों को हैवी फ्लो होता है उनके लिए कप्स निश्चित रूप से बेहतर विकल्प हैं.
2. खुजली से बचने के लिए सैनिटरी पैड्स को सही तरीके से लगाएं
यदि आप सैनिटरी पैड्स का इस्तेमाल कर रही हैं तो इससे जुड़े एहतियातों का बेहद सावधानी से अनुसरण करें. पैड्स को सही से पहनने के लिए पर्याप्त समय लें क्योंकि अगर वो सही तरीके से नहीं लगेगा तो खुजली होने होने की संभावना में वृद्धि हो जाती है. इसका कारण ये है कि स्त्री जननांग बहुत गिला होता है. लेकिन याद रहे आवश्यकता पड़ने पर चिकित्सकीय सहायता भी ले लेनी चाहिए.
3. सुरक्षा के लिए जनानंग के बाहरी हिस्से को रखें साफ़
हलांकि ये सही है कि मादा जनांग खुदबखुद साफ़ होता रहता है लेकिन फिर भी कभी-कभी हल्के गुनगुने पानी से इसके बाहरी हिस्से को साफ़ करते रहना आवश्यक है. लेकिन अंदर साबुन का इस्तेमाल न करें. इसके बदले में यदि आप चाहें तो महिलाओं के लिए बाजार से मिलने वाले स्वच्छ उत्पाद ले सकती हैं. यूरिनरी ट्रैक्ट इन्फ़ेक्शन से बचने के लिए इस बात का ख्याल रखें की पानी जननांग से एनल एरिया की तरफ जाए न कि इसका उल्टा.
4. पीरियड्स के लिए अलग अंडरवियर रखें “हमेशा”
मेनस्ट्रूएशन के दौरान पैंटीज को दागों से मुक्त रखना मुश्किल है. ऐसा तब और होता है जब काम से बाहर होती हैं या दफ्तर में या कहीं और होती हैं. इसलिए यदि आप दो या अधिक अंडरवियर रखेंगी तो आपको आसानी होगी. हलांकि इन पैंटीज को बाद में गर्म पानी से ठीक से साफ़ करके ही इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए. 
5. पीरियड के दिनों में अपनी चादर को बदलते रहें
रात में कभी लीकेज होना सामान्य बात है. गंदगी और संक्रमण से बचने के लिए अपनी चादर बदलती रहें. चादर को धोने के लिए डेटॉल या किसी भी दूसरे सैनिटाईजर का इस्तेमाल करें. इसके अलावा अपने इनरवियर को भी बदलती रहें. जिन लड़कियों को ज़्यादा पसीना आता है, वो जितना ज़्यादा अपना इनर वियर बदलेगी (बजाए उन्हें पूरे दिन पहनने के), उतना ही उन्हें आरामदायक महसूस होगा. 
6. कसरत के बाद जननांग की सफाई न भूलें
अगर आप पीरियड के दिनों में योगा या किसी भी प्रकार की माइल्ड कसरत करती हैं, तो कपड़े बदलना और नहाना न भूलें क्योंकि कसरत के कारण पसीना इकट्ठा हुआ होगा, जिससे जीवाणु संक्रमण हो सकता है.
7. खानी पिने से पहले हाथों की ठीक से सफाई करें
पीरियड के दिनों में कुछ भी खाने या पीने से पहले अपने हाथों को साबुन या हैंड सैनिटाईजर से धोना न भूलें. ऐसा करने से आप कई अनावश्यक बीमारियों से बच जाते हैं.
8. सैनिटरी पैड्स या टैम्पोंस को उचित निपटारण करें
सैनिटरी पैड्स या टैम्पून्स को कूड़ेदान में डालने से पहले उन्हें अच्छे से ढकना न भूलें. उन्हें कभी भी फ्लश न करें, चाहें आप कितनी भी जल्दी में हो.

Hi there is very effective treatment of leucoderma in ayurveda. Take about 25 grams of radish seeds and ground them into a powdery substance. Add 2 tsp vinegar and make a fine paste. Apply this paste on the affected area and wash off when dry. You should take pranacharya shwet kushth har set.
