Over weight. I need a diet chart to reduce my weight. Now I am 80 kg and height is 166 cm.

Diploma in Diet and Nutrition
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Hyderabad
The best solution for Weight loss is Simple Diet + Daily exercise. Cut down Oils/Sugar/Maida/Ghee/Salty stuffs from your diet. Cut down Puris/Parathas/Pizzas/Burgers/Fried Rice. Add more Fruits /Salads/Proteins to your diet. Double your water intake. Eat slowly and mindfully. Take 1600 calorie diet daily. Reduce portion size. While eating out try to order less. Exercise daily 'Intense' Cardio for 40-60 mins.  Don't just focus on Weight. Focus more on building Fitness. Reduce socialising/company of people who are addicted to junk food and overeating. Love yourself and respect your body.

I want to loose my weight due to this I feel a lot of laziness please proscribe me.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly it is important to understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals.     Reduce your main meals by 1/4th  the amount. Take a glass of lime water 10minutes before meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed.                        Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing.     It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.

Well you could be suffering from nutritional deificiency or any underlying disease cause of which you have lost so much weight. Better would be to consult a general physician and take proper treatment.

Hi Doctor, I am a 24 years old guy. My weight is 45 kg. I want to build muscles. Even though, I did some exercise and taking healthy foods, it makes my muscles to be tight but it doesn't show up any sign of enlarging or building up. I heard about muscle blaze whey isolate protein. Can I build my muscle by using it without having any side-effects? Or else, give me other suggestions to build muscles.

Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, MBBS, MD - Community Medicine

Hello after 6 months, normally there should be no problem with past surgery. The pain can be controlled by anti-inflammatory medicine. However get a checkup done to rule out any problem with the stitches.

Hello I am 21 M just want to know that I am running in morning and evening. In night I usually eat chapati and dal. I eat 7 to 8 chapatis I want to know should I eat less chapatis or I can eat as many chapatis I want .thanks.

MBBS
General Physician, Mumbai
Dear lybrateuser, - Since you are running twice in a day your body will require carbohydrates, proteins as well as healthy fats, do not leave out any foods from the three major food groups as otherwise it could lead to deficiency & you may feel tired & weak - have 3-4 chapatis at meals also include a protein item like paneer or yogurt/ curds, butter milk, cheese, veg like spinach, methi , also can have eggs, milk at breakfast, soyabeans, tofu with meals, if you have non veg then have seafood, chicken at meals, without adequate protein intake your muscles will not develop & will become weak over a period of time - also have snacks in between meals like a fruit, salad, nuts, sprouts these will keep you full & you will not binge at meal time.

Dear friend you are suffering from inferiority complex and depressive thoughts. It is common in your age. Everyone feel that I have only problems others are not. But others also have same type of thinking. So it is common psychological feelings. Feel always confident praising others it will not give any benefit to us, do and feel always your positive points. Friends love your specific qualities better to develop your specific qualities everyone comes to you and praise your importance. Do not waste your time for thinking about others. Think about yourself. Take further steps to develop your self. Feel and enjoy the every movement of life. Best of luck.
