Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Ankle stretching. Ankle strengthening exercises. Avoid squatting. Quadriceps exercises. Core strenthening exercises. Stretch calves get a custom made insole. Hams stretching. Sports taping. Hot fomentation.

Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Hi there you can avoid knee replacement by physiotherapy treatment and following some home instructions. I would suggest you to go to nearby physiotherapist. At home you can. Apply ice pack for 15 minutes which will help. To reduce pain and swelling, avoid bending of knees more than 90 degrees, use western toilet, use knee caps when walking out, do gentle knee exercises and isometric exercises of quadriceps and hamstrings, do gentle patela glides in all directions.

I am suffering from severe lower back pain. Whenever I start stretching the left lower back starts paining. I have done x-rays several times. The report says there's no injury in bones. I think it's the problem of nerves. Suggest me any therapy or medicine for this.

At your age most common cause of backache is faulty habits and posture. Correct your posture while sitting along with start with stretching exercise gradually. Apply hot water packs twicee daily. Hope this help you in your query.

Yes. 'Sandhivata' is coming up. Start with cleansing of intestines and 'janudhara' oil application to keep knee disease free. Diet modifications and weight control must.

I am a 23 year old female. And I feel severe back pain and stomach pain in periods. What should I do?

Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos you will need other supportive medicines also. Do back (spine) & general exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you may have to use lumbosacral support for some time. Avoid painful act/activities. Take medicines as prescribed it may have to be further investigated.

My legs specially feet became very sensitive to cold and water from last 6 years or more also there was burning sensation in muscular part of leg below knees and from last two weeks the burning secession shifted to upper part of knee in Thai area and from last three days burning started around lower cervical area and around upper part if cervical spine ine. Dear user, Nervousness or Anxiety disorders are a category of mental disorders characterized by feelings of anxiety and fear, where anxiety is a worry about future events and fear is a reaction to current events. These feelings may cause physical symptoms, such as a racing heart and shakiness. There are a number of anxiety disorders: including generalized anxiety disorder, a specific phobia, social anxiety disorder, separation anxiety disorder, agoraphobia, and panic disorder among others. While each has its own characteristics and symptoms, they all include symptoms of anxiety. Anxiety medicines alone cannot cure anxiety disorders mainly because medicines do not alter behavior. Behavior change and Continuous practice of the changed behavior cure anxiety. I suggest anxiety education, progressive counseling and progressive psychotherapy. I assure you complete cure. I need to know more about your anxiety so that I will be able to diagnose it properly and provide you tips to overcome and manage your anxiety. Take care.

I am 43 years old & suffering with back pain last 1.5 year every day, I have used ointment & exercise but pain not decrease, & also suffering vitamin d3 13th oct my vitamin d3 level was 6.5 second test was oct. 14 my result was 27.3 now under treatment. What I will be do please advise.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

My age is 18. My right knee has swelled & it painful also. From last 8 days. That day I cycled 20 km. Dr. Gave medicine & suggested to wearing a knee cap. When taking medicine it gave relief & after 4-5 hours it backs again. Before it happened I had a badly fever. Now fever has gone but Knee gets pain. please suggest medicine.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hi, Yes, it can be worn while walking, running, lifting heavy weights, etc. It helps to keep the joint in position. But do not wear it while sleeping; it will hinder the blood flow.
