Hi firstly, start doing surya namaskar in morning and start eating triphla chooran (natural medicine) in morning empty stomach with luke warm water. Start a fruit dieting every alternative day, means you have to eat fruits every alternative days & normal fruit every other alternative days. Avoid late night dinners and try to eat nothing after sunset. Sit in vajrasana after every meal you eat for 10 minutes. Walk atleast 30 min in morning.

Do you mean face is becoming fat? for pimples you can wash your face with warm water and take steam on face. Never pinch pimples. Avoid oily foods.

Hi, Diet for Obesity: Morning: 6AM: Brisk walk for 45 min. Morning tea with 1 Marie biscuit Breakfast: 1 glass skimmed milk with 2 tsp cornflakes, 5 almonds: Club sandwich with tomato, boiled potato, cucumber, ketchup or chutney (No Butter or Mayonnaise) 11AM: Orange or Apple Lunch: 2 thin chapattis, 1 katori yellow dal, Mixed vegetable or any seasonal vegetable cooked in just 1 tsp oil, Curd, Citrus fruit. 4 PM: Tea with murmura or roasted chana 7 PM: Soup with club sandwich or dinner roll. Bedtime: 1 glass milk if hungry For Height Gain: You can increase your height by following these instructions: 1) Diet: A well balanced diet which is rich in calcium, phosphorus, iodine and magnesium is extremely important for proper growth.(Milk, cheese, curd, nutrella, nuts, eggs, chicken. Hi lybrate-user, try having warm lemon water with honey every morning. Below tips could help you start your weight-loss journey. 1. Never eat a snack out of a carton or a cover. Always use a cup or a plate to so you know how much you are eating. 2. Have at least one bright colored fruit and one bright colored vegetable a day 3. Take a small snack box to office with almonds, walnuts and other dry fruits to satisfy your cravings 4. Try to have your dinner by 8 so that you are not too hungry and also make healthy choices at dinner. 5. People who eat breakfast have a better success rate at losing weight. 6. Beware of zero trans fat and fat free foods as you might end up eating high sugar and carb containing foods. 7. People who are emotional eaters learn to identify the emotion that makes you eat unhealthy food and try diverting your mind to something else you love 8. If your plates are too big trade them off for a 9 inch plates 9. Replace your weighing scale with a tape measure. 10. Share your weight-loss journey with a family member or friend so that you are accountable to each other. 11. Green tea at least once a day will help you boost your metabolism 12. Sleep helps in repair and regulating your hormones. Sleep atleast 8 hours in a day. 13. Have fruits at least twice a day.

Hye. In order to lose weight you must either eat sensibly and exercise to burn off calories. Eat as per the body's needs. Food that is not used to fuel the body is stored as fat. A major component of losing weight is to make smarter food choices. Here's how: Limit non-nutritious foods, such as: Sugar, honey, syrups and candy, pastries, donuts, pies, cakes and cookies, soft drinks, sweetened juices and alcoholic beverages Cut down on high-fat foods by: Choosing poultry, fish or lean red meat. Choosing low-fat cooking methods, such as baking, broiling, steaming, grilling and boiling. Avoiding high-fat snacks like chips and chocolate. Avoiding fried foods. Using less margarine and mayonnaise. Avoiding high-fat gravies, cream sauces and cream-based dishes. Eat a variety of foods, including: Fruit and vegetables, whole grains, breads, cereal, rice and pasta, dairy products, such as low-fat or non-fat milk or yogurt, low-fat cottage cheese and low-fat cheese, protein-rich foods like chicken,  fish, dals and legumes, or beans should be included in your diet. Change your eating habits: Eat three balanced meals a day to help control your hunger. Watch portion sizes and eat small servings of a variety of foods. Choose low-calorie snacks. Eat only when you are hungry and stop when you are satisfied. Eat slowly and try not to perform other tasks while eating. Find other activities to distract you from food, such as walking, taking up a hobby or being involved in the community. Include regular exercise in your daily routine. Avoid skipping breakfast. Avoid very late heavy dinners. You can take dairy, nuts or fruits late night.

Dear lybrate-user. You are just 20 years old. Just add two more things in your future planning. Daily exercise and diet regime. Join a gymn, get a trainer. Exercise every morning. But remember one thing. 2 hours of exercise will be of no use if you cannot maintain your diet regime for the rest 22 hours. Drink plenty of water. Avoid processed foods and fatty foods. Eat for health, not for taste. As per your age I could guess that you have no addiction right now. Carry on this routine throughout the rest of your life and you will not only lose weight but also stay away from many life-style related diseases.

Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control....take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day....medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day....and pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day...avoid junk food...oily food...fermented food..alcohol consumption..sugar....milk products and sweets....take oats and cereals more..and do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day...and do exercises....dont sleep immediately after taking meal...you can take my 'obesity treatment package' which is available on lybrate in health packages

For weight loss you have to consume fewer calories than your daily requirement. Exercise alone is not sufficient you have to take care of your diet first.e.g. if you are doing 1 hour brisk walk you will burn 250 kcal but single package of chips contain kcal. So to decrease weight you require individual diet and exercise schedule. Consult me privately.

In Ayurveda, Charak Samhita describes eight different types of bodies that are disease prone. Out of these, the obese body is described as the one afflicted with the most diseases and troubles. Obesity is the condition or physical state of the body when excessive deposition of fat takes place in the adipose tissue.

Extra fat puts a strain on the heart, kidneys, liver and the joints such as the hips, knees and ankles and thus, overweight people are susceptible to several diseases like coronary thrombosis, high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, gout, liver and gallbladder disorders. Chief cause of obesity is overeating, irregular eating habits and not following the rules of eating or mixing non-compatible food items in one meal.

To decrease weight and get rid of obesity three things must be kept in mind:
1. Controlling eating habits.
2. Regular exercise.
3. Avoiding the causes of weight gain

Diet recommended to lose weight

Early morning
Juice of half a lemon mixed in a glass of warm water and a teaspoon of honey.


Breakfast
Wheat or mung bean sprouts and a cup of skimmed milk.


Midmorning
A glass of orange, pineapple or carrot juice.

Lunch
Salad of raw vegetables such as carrot, beet, cucumber, cabbage, tomatoes. Steamed or boiled vegetables whole grain bread or whole wheat chapatis (indian bread) and a glass of buttermilk. Roasted cumin seeds, green coriander leaves, a little salt and some grated ginger mixed in the buttermilk.

Mid-afternoon
Coconut water, dry fruits, lemon tea, fresh vegetable soup

Dinner
Whole grain bread or chapatis, steamed vegetables, seasonal fruits except banana and apple.

Lybrate-user, diet start karna easy hota hai par maintain karna hi sabse difficult task hai issi liye zaruri hai ki aap aisi cheezein apni routine main incorporate kijiye jo sustainable hain. Agar aap zada ambitious diet banayengi to chances hai ki aap usko follow nahin kar payengi issi liye pehla step hai ki aap apni diet ko dheere dheere change ki jiye. Aap apni diet ko teen mahine main sustainable way main change kar sakti hai agar aap yeh steps follow karein to 1. Changes to be made in the first month: pehle mahine main aap siraf commercial snacks give up kar di jiye jaise ki biscuits, cakes, chips aur high sugar wale drinks ko bilkul chorr di jiye jaise ki coke, pepsi, commercial juice. Fresh fruit juice ki intake bhi kam kar di jiye kiunkii ismain bhi bohot sugar hota hai. Apni water intake badha ke 8-10 glasses per day pe le aayen. Iske ilawa first month main kuch change nahin karna hai. 2. Changes to be made in the second months: doosre mahine main apni chaye, coffee ya koi bhi aur beverage jo aap consume karti hai uski intake siraf 3-4 times a day tak limit kar di jiye. Agar aap apni chaye, coffee ya milk main sugar daalti hai to is added sugar ki quantity ko half kar di jiye - 1 chamach ki jagah half chamach. Apne har meal ke saath aap ek katori raw vegetables start ki jiye. Raat ke khane ki quantity bohot kam kar di jiye aur raat ko sone se 3 ghante pehle tak kuch nahin khana hai. 3. Changes to be made in the third month: apni chaye coffee main sugar ki amount fir se half kar di jiye (1/2 chamach ki jagah 1/4 chamach). Apne meals main roti sabzi dal ki amount ko ghata kar raw vegetable ko zada kar li jiye. 3 baar khaane ki bajaye 4 bar khana khaiye par kam quantity main. Raat ke khaane main siraf raw fruits aur vegetables li jiye aur minimal roti/sabji khaiye. Agar aap is taraha se gradually apni diet change karengi toh teen mahine main aapki life badal jayegi.

I am suffering from acute asthma and I am obese. I have consulted many doctors in homoeopathy, allopathy and also ayurvedic. But the weight doesn't reduces. Around 14 years back I had a severe asthma problem and doctors injected steroids. Due to which my son has also suffered as he was 3 months old then. Kindly advice.

Hi, you should follow the under noted tips: go for pranayama, meditation to strengthen your lungs to retain plenty of oxygen to ease your problem. Your diet be easily digestible, simple, non- irritant to avoid gastric disorder which may b one of d main reasons of breathing disorder. Drink lukewarm water. Inhale, steam twice. Avoid dust, smoke, caffiene, junk food, cold intake and exposure to cold. Homoeo medicine: @ blatta orientq- 10 drops, thrice with 1/4 cup of lukewarm water. Take care.
