I have left eye -2.25 right eye -1.5 what precautions should I take to reduce it.
wear glasses regularly, First, apply heat to your eyes by rubbing your palms together and then placing them over your eyes. Hold your hands over your eyes for five to 10 seconds, and then repeat. Do this before performing any eye exercises in order to prepare your eyes! Start exercising by rolling your eyes. Eating a healthy diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables will seriously help improve your eyesight and keep it from deteriorating. It is also important to eat the right vitamins to support eye health. Vitamins and minerals, such as Vitamin A, C, and E, are all important to eye health. Anti-oxidants (remember eating carrots for your eyes?) are also a great source of nutrients for healthy eyes. Our Rebuild Your Vision Program actually recommends 17 different vitamins you should take to support your eyesight Supporting your eye health is just one of the many benefits of getting enough sleep and taking breaks during the work day. If you work on a computer all day, your eyes are probably under a lot of strain. Do yourself (and your eyes) a favor by taking a break for about 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent in front of the screen. Simply close your eyes for a minute or get up and walk around the office. Focus on something that isn’t a screen. You can also rest your eyes by following the 10-10-10 rule. This means you should look at something 10 feet away for 10 seconds for every 10 minutes you spend working on the computer! One of the fastest ways to improve your vision naturally is to perform daily eye exercises. Eye exercises are meant to strengthen the eyes and improve vision. Using eye exercises can even eliminate your need for contacts or glasses. Get a regular schedule of eye exercises and try to do them daily – this will help you get in the habit of performing exercises and also help you achieve better vision fast Start exercising by rolling your eyes. Rolling is one of the easiest eye exercises! Without straining your eyes (remember to stop if it hurts), look up as far as you can. Then, look down. Repeat this 10 times. Now look to each side, repeating 10 times. After that, look in each diagonal direction. Finally, roll your eyes in a counter-clockwise motion about 10 times, then reverse the movement and roll them clockwise. Grab a pen and hold it at arm’s length, making sure the pen is at eye level. Focus on the tip of the pen as you move it closer to your eyes. Stop when you get about six inches away from your face, and focus on the tip as you move it back to arm’s length. Remember to do this slowly and focus on the tip of the pen. Repeat about 10 times. Massage your eyes after exercising. First, massage your temples with your fingertips or one of your knuckles. Move in a clockwise motion several times, and then switch to a counter-clockwise motion. Massage over your eyebrows and under your eyes as well. When you’re done exercising and massaging, apply heat to your eyes once more by rubbing your palms together. If your eyes are really tired, close them and rest for a few moments. Resting your eyes frequently, as described in the previous section, is very important to preserving the health of your eyes!

You have something called as computer vision syndrome. So take frequent breaks while you are working every 20-25 mins take break to look away from screen blink more frequently' level of screen should be below the level of eyes ac should not blow directly on your face. Also get your eyes checked for any spectacle power.

Age- 41.
Hello there are many causes for redness of eyes mainly allergy, infection, inflammation and dry eyes etc. 1. Redness + itching: allergy 2. Redness + pain + watering + decreased vision: infection 3. Redness + pain: inflammation 4. Redness foreign body sensation: dryness if there is only redness then it is normal as slight exposure to dust, temperature or air or eyes may be red in morning. Stress may also cause redness. I usually do not treat when there is only redness, you can 1. Blink a lot 2. Wash eyes with fresh water 3. Cold compresses 4. Use lubricating eye drop like flogel these measures will help to keep your eyes healthy but it will not have any effect on redness (treating general redness alone is not necessary also) having said that you should consult local ophthalmologist for proper examination and treatment.

My eyelid is inching since 3 days, I am using ceprofloxin. Eye drop. But when I o look at mobile screen problem again persist.? Shall I do.

My eyelid is inching since 3 days, I am using ceprofloxin. Eye drop. But when I o look at mobile screen problem again...
Mobile screen is made up of hundreds of tiny pixels that are constantly moving. Our eyes in turn are not naturally able to set focus on these constantly moving pixels, and hence we try to focus on an area behind the actual screen. Therefore, in order to work on a mobile, our eyes need to keep on fluctuating focus between their natural point of focus and the pixels on the screen. And this tires the eyes and causes a lot of wear and tear.As a result, we suffer from irritation, which may range from a number of things like headaches, dry eyes, blurred vision, problems in focusing and faulty color perception, to something as severe as glaucoma. The electromagnetic waves that are emitted by a mobile phone can be extremely damaging to the eyes. It has been studied and well documented that these cell phone waves can have a damaging effect on the various parts of the eye, including the retina and the cornea. Moreover, they can cause cataract too. Moreover it is more distressing for our eyes to view contents on a tiny screen which requires even more concentration and extenive usage of eyes without blinking thus causing Eye dryness making them vulnerable to frequent Eye problemss. . The solution for this problem I its reduced usage and while uing mobiles use them inproper light. There is nothing more effective than controlling usage to reduce and negate the effects. You can also reduce the intensity of the mobile’s screen by attaching a filter or by getting an eye-friendly screen. Above all, one must try to reduce the amount of mobile usage or take frequent breaks. Homoeopathic medicine EUPHRASIA 30 ( Dr Reckeweg) drink 2 drops direct on tongue every 2-3 hrly till symptoms lats EUPHRASIA EYE DROPS ( SBL ) pour 2 drops in both eyes 3 times daily

Red eyes could be because of many reasons but commonly it is due to allergy or infection. You need to visit eye specialist to differentiate between the two as the treatment is different. Also get your eyes checked for any glass power.

There is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 16 years so your number will not increase much now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. As you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik.

My daughter is 8 year old and good at studies and quite bright child. The problem is with her EQ. She usually has her opinion on everything and will make sure that it is been followed. She does not follow what we say at once usually. Sometimes in front of others, when she does something which we have told her not to do, it causes stress and anger in us. She wants us to give her complete attention all the time, which can not happen all the time. (incase of guests etc) during such times she demands for the tv. Which if I do not give. She starts irritating me. And after that she get the avoiding she gets into denial mode. So whatever is been told to do she will say no for it. How should I handle it?

Dear lybrate-user, it must be tough dealing with such a child. Give her instructions of what to do and what no to do very gently at a time when she is absolutely calm and receptive. Make her do more physical activities, like dancing, or aerobics or yoga or outdoor sports. This might take away some of her restlessness and regulate her body and mind. Also remember, one should be firm with children. Hope my suggestion helps you.
