I am 21. Since 10 years I feel something wrong with my head. I feel like I can not concentrate on anything. I frequently forget things to do and sometimes my memory becomes so sharp. I am a very bad multitasker. Also since childhood I get headaches and migraine. I never took any medicine. What should I do.

Following concentration and relaxation techniques shall help. For concentration and memory try following things on a daily basis and you will see positive results. Concentration is a mental skill that you can develop. There are two ways to improve your concentration: first, raise your brain's natural ability to concentrate. In other words, increase your attention. Second, adjust the environment around you to make concentrating easier. To improve your concentration takes a little time and effort, but it can be worth it. In my personal experience with students. This can make noticeable improvement in a relatively short time. Ideas for daily concentration-boosting habits include: mindfulness meditation - many studies confirm that 20 minutes of meditation or more per day improves concentration and attention span. Focusing on your breathing, known as mindfulness meditation, is one of the simplest way of meditation. Start with ten minutes in the morning and ten minutes before bed. Proper sleep -i am sorry to say it. Pulling all nighter will not help with your grade. Unless you are getting sufficient restful sleep, you are not going to be as mentally focused as you could be. Brain game -. The more you use certain skills, the more they are reinforced in the brain. So it makes sense that playing concentration games and games that require you to focus will improve your concentration ability. You need to be consistent in this. Play for about 10 to 20 minutes each day. Have fun, and get the benefits but remember not to spend more than 20 minutes a day. Your goal is to improve your concentration and not the score in the game! eat healthier - your brain needs the proper nutrients to allow you to focus. Eat more vegetables and fruits and avoid consumption of junk food as much as possible. Lot of research has now proven that sugar is very harmful for our health. Reduce sugar and refined white floor in your diet as much as you could. Exercise is helpful in both reducing stress and increasing focus. At-least 20 minutes a day would go a long way. Optimize your mental state & environment in addition to building the habits described above into your daily routine, also adjust your environment and your current mental state to improve your concentration when studying. Create a study spot. Your brain loves routine. Create a place where all you do is study. An obvious choice is a secluded desk of some kind, but the trick is to make sure you only study in that spot. Studying in bed is a bad habit, for example, because your body is trained to want to sleep once you get into bed. Remove distractions. Turn off the ringer on your phone and take other steps to prevent interruptions. Don't study with the television on or with talk radio playing. Some studies have shown that soft instrumental music (no vocals) can help improve your concentration. Block background noises. If you have to study or work in an environment where it is too loud (classroom or open space) or too quiet (such as at home or at a library) you can get easily distracted by outside influences. With the right amount of background noise you can actually block out distractions and enhance your creative thinking. Use time boxes. Set a time limit when you need to study new material. For example, let's say you want to read one chapter in a book (and remember it). Decide in advance that you can have 45 minutes to read the chapter, and 15 minutes to review it. Set a timer to keep yourself honest, then pace yourself to keep within the allotted time. Stay motivated with rewards. If you see studying as burden, it's hard to concentrate. One way to stay motivated is to set up a reward system. Tell yourself you have to earn that hour of watching your favorite show later in the evening by first completing one hour of intense studying. That way, even if the material is dry, you have the reward to look forward to. Take a break every two hours. You mental energy will begin to decline after a long period of study. So every two hours or so, take a ten minute break. Walk around, eat a light snack, or just stare at the wall to relax your mind. Concentrating is the first step to learning anything new. It only makes sense that if you improve your concentration, your memory will improve also. Try following things to learn relaxation response which leads to better coping mechanism on a daily basis. To begin with doing guided progressive muscular relaxation before sleeping will help you relax. You could google and download an audio file. I would also suggest you to take a multiple small break to take 3 nice and deep breath while keeping your eyes closed. You could do this while sitting or standing or while even walking or climbing stairs (keep your eyes open in that case). When you take a nice and deep break there is actual physiological change in your body. This will help you to activate parasympathetic nervous system which promotes relaxation and helps you calm down and think more clearly. This will also actually improve your performance in your work. Along with this exercise is one of the best way to relive stress and stay fit. Engage in any kind of physical activity at least 4 times a week. This also helps in stress reduction. Along with this some relaxation exercises as well as engaging in joyful activities such as music, singing, dancing, reading, being in nature, gardening, talking with friends or anything which you enjoy will help reducing stress and rejuvenation of your mind and body. Have good routine for sleep and eating. Lot of research has now proven that sugar is very harmful for our health. Reduce sugar and refined white floor in your diet as much as you could. Along with this also increase consumption of raw vegetables in the form of salad in both the meals of your day. Daily sex is not harmful and there is no need to worry about that. Numbness of hands and feet means that there could be a disease of nerves (peripheral neuropathy), which can be confirmed by doing nerve conduction studies.

Sinusitis is usually has cold with blocked nose. Pain is in affected side of nose, maxillary area. But in migraine there may or may not be cold, usually one sided headache. Nauseatus sensation, gastric disturbances are often present. Patient feels better after vomiting as it reduces the pressure in head.

First of all you should follow some basic thing 1. Avoid=hot and cold at time 2. Less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3. Do not drink water after meal drink at the time of meal sip by sip up to 150 ml 4. Avoid late night sleep 5. Sarswatarishta 4tsp after lunch and dinner 6. Audumbaravleha 2 tsp before lunch and dinner.

Now Say-Go Migraine (Migraine -Ayurvedic View) Migraine headache is usually associated with one sided throbbing headache, with nausea (tendency of vomiting), vomiting and sensitivity to light. In migraine there is excessive stimulation (constriction and sudden dilatation) of brain and blood vessels. CAUSES-: -Improper metabolism, Suppression of natural urges, anger, jealousy, grief, poor elimination, intake of dry, pungent and salty food, intake of polluted food, mental and physical stress, viewing of TV for long periods, reading with insufficient light, sleeplessness etc. -Origin of migraine headache; Due to the causative factors, Pitta Dosha obstructs the flow of Vata dosha in brain, causing throbbing pain. MANAGEMENT-: Sneha nasya – Instillation of medicated oils can be carried to the nostrils. Shadbindu tailam or Anu tailam yield significant benefits in this condition. Apply a paste of freshly ground clay or freshly ground sandalwood to the forehead, let dry, rub off by hand and wash. Sugar powder 16 parts, Vamshalochana 8 parts, Pippali (long pepper) 4 parts, Ela (Cardamom) 2 parts, Cinnamon – 1 part. Make fine powder and mix it, keep in tight moisture free container. Take half teaspoon thrice daily with honey. Mix ¼ teaspoon of clove powder with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon oil. Apply this paste on the affected area for 20-30 minutes. Add chamomile powder to 1 cup of boiling water. Transfer the liquid to a cup. Drink when hot. It gives fast relief from migraine. Grind 10-12 grains of black pepper and 10-12 grains of rice with water to make it a paste. Apply this paste on affected area of the head for 15-20 minutes. Take ½ glass of carrot juice. Add ½ glass of spinach juice. Mix well. Drink this juice to cure migraine. Practicing meditation is highly recommended. DIET-: -Apple, mango, papaya, cheeku, guava. -Salad 1hr before lunch, 1hr before dinner. -Buttermilk, boiled rice sauted with cinnamon, cumin seeds and garlic or asafetida are good in the daytime. -Have warm and easily digestible foods, boiled and steamed vegetables, soups, vegetable juices, porridge, brown rice and whole-wheat flour. -Avoid yogurt, especially at night. -Avoid working for long hours continuously; take short breaks. Have a good night’s sleep in a dark room. -Avoid refined, oily, cold and stale food. -Avoid coffee, tea, alcohol, smoking. YOGA-: Hastapadasana, Setu Bandhasana, Marjariasana, Paschimottanasana, Bhastrika and Anulom-Vilom Pranayama. NOTE-When suffering from a migraine attack: -Lie down in a dark, quiet place. -Get some sleep. -Avoid eating. -Drink only water. -Apply hot or cold compresses.

My father has tremors in hands since last three months. Consulted general physician he told it may be early stage of parkinson. Also suggested to take mri scan. But I have few doubts over these that all tremors r linked to parkinson else what r the other causes for tremors thank you.

There can be many other causes of tremors also. Get his thyroid function tests, sugar test and also it can be a possibility he is having anxiety issues. Parkinsonism also has various other symptoms such as stooped posture, short steps, rigidity and stiffness.

Sir mera beta 5 years ka hai. Usko seizure disorder ki problem hai. Uska 4 times brain ka eeg test hua hai aur isko 15 month ki age me 1st time ye problem hui thi us k baad 2 baar essa ho ckuka hai. Ist time isko eptoin syrup 2.5 ml subah sham diya ja raha tha uske baad dec2014 me isko fir ye same problem ho gai tab fir 2 -3 test hue jisme eeg test aur eptoin level aur spine ka pani lekar jo test hota hai vo teeno test hue they tab uska eptoin level kam likla tha. Us k baad doctors ne isko eptoin syrup 5-5 ml subah sham kar diya tha. Us k baad iski april month 2015 mey fir seizure disorder ki problem ho gai tab fir isko sri bala ji action hospital mey admit karna pada fir dobara sey sare test hue aur sath mey hi colour mri bhi hui. Uski report normal thi eeg test ki report thik nahi thi. Us k baad isko eptoin syrup band kar diya gaya aur uski jagah par vellprine syrup 5-5 subah sham diya ja raha hai. Vaisey to vo thik hai. Lekin vo 1st class ka student hai us ki class teacher ki taraf se behad complaints aa rahi hai. Vo ek jagah tik kar nahi baithta. Na to class teacher ki baat manta hai. Apni class mey ghumta rahta hai. Uski learning power bhi behad kamjor hai. Agar koi baccha us k samney aa jata hai usko dekh k irritate ho jata hai. Aur dhakka dene ki koshish karta hai. Cw aur hw bhi kabhi nan mey aayega to karega nahi to nahi karega. Vo bahut jayada hyperactive hai. Kisi bhi baat ki aur proper focus nahi kar pata. Madam ki kisi bhi baat ki aur concentrate nahi kar pata. Kuch samay k liye absent minded ho jata hai. Mai behad pareshan hu please aap bateiye ki vo padai ki aur focus kaisse karega? hum kaisse kya kare ki uski concentration power bad jaye. Usko kon kon si medicine deni hogi. Please muje jalad sey jalad bataya jaye.

I'm having shaking hands (tremors. I am having them for about 2 years now. Used to smoke and drink occasionally. I also take wheezing medication called asthalin (it's a inhaler. I also feel like I am losing my muscular strength. Please let me know the reason and medication.

I am 38 Years old male and suffering from High BP (Diastolic). I have a healthy history and don't have any disease (neither heredity). Now I don't do any physical exercise but still I am physically fit and can walk 3-4 kms any time. My height is 5.10 feet and weight is 76 kg. 1 month back at the time of sleeping, I felt higher heart beat rate, numbness in my left hand and some uneasiness and I couldn't sleep. Next day I visited doctor, he found my diastolic BP (104). He also suggested some more tests (ECG and ECHO). ECG was normal and in echo test it was mentioned" Hypertensive heart disease"(Grade 1 diastolic dysfunction) and LVEF was 62% at rest. As of now I am consuming Aten (Atenolol) 25 once a day and doctor also suggested me to take Trika. 25 (Alprazolam) at the time of sleeping but I didn't consume Trika and only consuming Aten 25. I was fine after that and I stopped consuming medicine (Aten) 3-4 days back as I was feeling fine and now today I am again feeling high BP. Which medicine should I continue. Aten 25 is fine or I should continue Trika. 25 too? How can I control my BP naturally.

Is modalert 100 a brain enhancer tablet? One MD doctor said if you take 2 tabs of modalert 100 it works as brain enhancer. But I've read on govt site that it is used to treat sleepiness how can it stimulate brain? Modalert is of questionable significance even in drowsy states. There is no drug to stimulate brain. Please eat healthy diet have positive thoughts and do exercise in fresh air.
