I don't have always the same feeling about my boyfriend. I always get change of my mood that I don't want to love him and don't want to talk lovely and all. I don't know why I get changed like that though I love him. I think it may be due to some internal pressures from parents that not to talk with him. What should I do so that I could have stability in my mindset and mood so that I will not have the problem of change in my feelings.

General Physician,
Your problem is definitely your mind related and parents pressure . You practise mind control by doing a meditaion ad yoga and have a frank talk with a good friend or relative and My I tell you in 19 years you should be be only worrying about studies and not relation with a boy . If you cannot self control you ask me personally for drugs

My friend started smoking when he in intermediate now he completed his mba. He wanted to stop smoking. Please advise how can he stop.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd

Well, he has made a very good decision that will impact his life, and others like wife and children when he gets marries, that is. When quitting, you must take one day at a time. If you look too far ahead you will get discouraged and will give up. If you sit and count the number of days you have given up, that will also focus too much on achievement. You must focus on the here and now, on that day to be precise. After all quitting is not that easy due to many factors. So even if you fail one day, you must try and try again. Very few people succeed in their first attempt. Your persistence will eventually pay off. The urge to discontinue is hampered by many factors but the worst of them is the conditioning. In fact these conditions can exist all through the day unlike other addictions. But your desire to want to stop is the most important factor. It is important to find out about the ill-effects of smoking to have a reason that alarms you about continuing in the habit. The information is really scary but true and you must remind yourself about this every day. The nicotine in tobacco smoke stimulates the heart beat to raise the blood pressure in no time at all. So you must avoid it like the plague: it is just very bad medicine for you. In fact it is highly toxic too. You will need to stop smoking or consuming any tobacco related items with immediate effect. You should start vigorous exercises, gradually increasing it over a period of time. Do deep breathing exercises every time you feel like smoking (try Yoga), and replace the oral urge with some healthy food substitute to satiate the need. You may also take hard candy or chewing gum. If the urge is too strong, then use nicotine chewing gum or nicotine patches, for a little while until the smoking drive reduces, substantially. You may also join Smokers Anonymous in your city where the support is really extraordinary for like-minded people who are also in the same situation. Keep yourself occupied or engaged with interesting activities during the times when it is most tempting. Keep the company of non-smokers for some time i.e. at least for the first 21 days. Above all announce it to everyone that you have quit smoking. Here?s a piece of very good advice: even if you accidentally/willfully take a cigarette, it is not the end of the world ? you can start the cessation all over again. You must persevere with the best support until you defeat this addiction. Counseling is very useful in the initial stages and when temptations are at their highest.

Dear lybrate-user, Welcome to Lybrate. Weed addiction also comes under abuse and addiction. If you’re ready to stop the substance and willing to get the support you need, you can recover from addiction and abuse —no matter how bad the addiction or how powerless you feel. The first step in treating addiction is accepting that you have a problem. Confronting an addiction and accepting responsibility for your actions isn’t easy. But it’s a necessary step on the road to treatment and recovery. You should then consult a psychiatrist / psychologist who fill follow this treatment. 1. Detoxification using medicines. 2. Behavior modification with the help of therapies. 3. Counseling. 4. Medication to sustain and 5. Long term support. These given steps are essential for any addict to get effectively rid of addiction. Therefore, you need to stick to the treatment plan. Take care.

Firstly, you need to consult a gynac and et your polycystic ovaries sorted. There's definitely a treatment for that. Next, you must start workouts and healthy nutrition/diet so that you can be in a better shape. Third, you need to self-educate yourself that criticisms are not etched on your forehead. They're merely an opinion of others-you don't have to necessarily buy it! You can hear them but not "listen" to them. You are your best judge; nobody else so it shouldn't matter what others say. Stop being in this helpless situation which you have created for yourself- work on your weak spots and become a strong girl! If you eat healthy, lose weight, groom well and carry yourself confidently; what makes you say you won't find a suitable man?

Respected Madam, I am sorry to hear about your current mental state. From the few symptoms that you mentioned you do seem to have some features suggestive of a Borderline Personality. This would cause you to have an unstable mood, unstable relationships, anger outbursts, recurrent suicidal thoughts, real or imagined feelings of abandonment, impulsivity, etc. However, the same would need to be confirmed after detailed evaluation by a psychiatrist. Hence I would kindly request you to meet with a local psychiatrist at the earliest as he/she can also help you to decide on a treatment plan which may include psychotherapies like Dialetical Behaviour Therapy or Medicines which can help you get better control over your mood. Thank You and Take Care of yourself.
