Keep check on your eating habits and try to find out the changes in your lifestyle now or sometimes it can be due to hormonal imbalance get your thyroid profile done and eat small & frequent meals, inlude more of high calorie foods such as dessert, sweetened beverages in your diet so to be in positive energy balance.

Hello, It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! Go through the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous) . Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: Don't skip meals.When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: Eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: Give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: Go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. Medication: Start taking Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 1 month. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. All the best!

First home remedy is to eat home cooked food. Eat a balanced low fat, high protein diet. Stop fried foods n sweets totally. Have more salads exercise regularly under supervision.

Yes dear.. diabetes is hereditary.. get ur blood sugar random checked after every 6 months...Avoid sedentary lifestyle. 1. Eat a balanced diet rich in proteins, minerals, vitamins, and fat. 2.Fill your diet with a wide range of fruits, vegetables, lean meats, fish, eggs, pulses, nuts, seeds, wholegrains and naturally low fat dairy foods. 3.Donot skip breakfast. 4.Drink plenty of fluids and water. 5.Exercise is an extremely important factor in staying healthy so try to be active. 6.Make sure you get enough sleep ? it's an essential part of being healthy.While we're asleep, our bodies have that all-important time to repair.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Use of anabolic steroids is bad for health. In the long run they damage your liver. May cause gynecomastia and are also dibetogenic. Increase in blood glucose is a direct effect of those drugs. Thanks.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day.

Dear lybrateuser, -you have mentioned that you have mild chronic depression, the symptoms you have mentioned are found in depression, also get your blood sugar, thyroid hormone levels, cholesterol profile done -do regular exercise in a garden or park for at least 30-40 min daily, fresh air & nature will freshen you, also do yoga, meditation for 10-15 min in the morning, the more active you are the better you will feel -follow a fixed sleep &wake up time even on a weekend -get your investigations done & consult doctor on forum.

Mr Basantsingh, To give any suggestion, I need to know following details : Fasting and PP sugar levels, HbA1c%, weight, height and waist circumference, drugs being taken with dosage, dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise. It is better if you come in a private conversation, where I will be able to give specific suggestions In the mean time avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods and pastries. Consume more of green leafy vegetables, salads and permitted fruits (about 100 g a day). Exercise daily for at least 1 hour a day. Take prescribed medication. Refrain from alcohol and smoking.
