Yes if you do exercise that reduces your weight than its best, ask your coach to guide you with more cardiovascular activity, more body weight exercises and stretching. Start eating 5 to 10 gram triphla chooran (natural medicine) in morning empty stomach with luke warm water. If posiible eat fruits every alternative days (only fruits & juice), consume a light dinner and if possible do not eat anything after sunset (its best if possible). Drink 3 to 4 liter water everyday but make sure you are not drinking water right after your meals give a gap of 90 minutes (strictly). Avoid over oily and spicy food. Avoid excess of sugar, avoid junk & fast food, avoid tea, refined oil, maida, and replace your iodized salt with sendha namak. Walk everyday for 1 hour.

My fasting blood glucose level is 112 and post prandial is 143 and hba1c is 6.6 should I start treatment for diabetes or should modify my diet and physical activity

All About Conservative Cardiology

The heart is the most important among the vital organs within the human body. The functioning of all the other vital organs also depends on this and thus cardiology is a mightily important subject as it deals in all the problems and abnormalities of the heart.

What is conservative cardiology?
Cardiology is classified primarily into two disciplines, namely invasive and conservative. As the name implies, conservative cardiology is about taking the minimum steps to get the most out of this discipline without the involvement of major surgeries or other procedures. This is done to minimize risks, quicken healing time and be less painful to the patient.

How conservative cardiology works?
Conservative cardiology isn't just a procedure to resolve a certain issue, but a whole type of approach towards resolving cardiac problems. All parts, from diagnostic to therapy have a different approach compared to invasive cardiology. Let's take a look at those parts.

Diagnostic methods
Some of the diagnostic methods may be similar to invasive cardiology as this is usually the first step in finding the problems with your heart. These are mostly non invasive body and heart examinations. Most of these exams will use:

  • A high resolution, state-of-the-art 4D ultrasound scanner
  • A CAT scanner with contrast agent to find blockages.

Although invasive cardiology uses the same technology now in most cases, there are other invasive methods to detect blockages. One example of this is the cardiac catheter, which has to be physically inserted into the body for detection of problems.

Therapy for conservative cardiology
Therapy is the actual area where invasive and conservative methods stand out from each other. Conservative cardiology espouses the approach of minimum surgery. It doesn't even follow surgeries like angioplasty which is minimally invasive. Some of the techniques that Conservative cardiology relies upon are:

  1. Medications
  2. Lifestyle changes
  3. Physiotherapy and exercising
  4. Constant maintenance
  5. Changes in nutrition to control and lessen risks
  6. Reducing stress and other contributing factors of heart disease.

Conservative cardiology takes a more of a preventative approach, the moment a problem is diagnosed. It tries to minimize or at least keep the problem in check by instituting smaller changes. Exercise regimens, relaxation routines, diet changes are all a part of this. However the most important weapons are medications which reduce the imminent danger of cardiac arrests or other cardiac problems. These smaller changes along with medications ensure that the larger problems, for which surgeries may be required, never arise in the first place.

Hi for increasing body weight, start eating more chapatis and rice with ghee or butter. Take creamed milk upto 400 ml daily. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables, take pulses and pulses products. You can eat homemade fried foods but avoid eating from the market. If you eat non-veg then eat 2 to 3 pcs. Of egg or fish thrice a week. Also take 4 to 6 pcs. Of almonds or cashew nuts or some raisins. Must take exercise daily as it helps in better absorption of food and also increases your satiety.

You are suffering from Antral Gastritis. It is not a very serious problem but need to be treated immediately. Please meet your Doctor. Go to a Gastroenetrologist. For a proper antral gastritis treatment to be determined, it is essential that the doctor understands the cause of the problem. For example, if a bacterial infection is causing the antral gastritis, the infection may be treated by the doctor with antibiotics to prevent the disease from recurring. The doctor may also prescribe antacids to bring down the symptoms till the bacteria no longer causes the inflammation. Most individuals do not realize they have antral gastritis till the severity of the condition increases. Therefore, most people take some antacids over the counter to bring down the symptoms. When they start to have dark or bloody stools, nausea, gas, and severe ingestion, they may seek treatment for the disease with a doctor. It is also important that when you notice any of the symptoms mentioned, you get checked immediately by a doctor and avoid taking over the counter medications to bring down the symptoms. The sooner the diagnosis is done and treatment given the less suffering you will experience.

Hye. Thanks for the query. There’s no overnight fix when it comes to healthy weight loss, but you can adjust your lifestyle to promote quick, natural weight loss for the benefit of your health and your appearance. Successful, long-term weight management needs to focus on more than the food you eat and the pounds you lose. It needs to focus on your overall health. Reshape your body and your lifestyle by adopting healthy habits and breaking unhealthy ones. Replace all processed foods in your diet with vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low-fat dairy, lean meats, eggs, legumes, nuts, seeds and seafood. Focus on the variety of whole, unprocessed foods you can eat instead of dwelling on the junk food you eliminated from your diet. Make time for breakfast every morning. Eating breakfast helps prevent overeating and is a habit of people who successfully lose weight. Pack to-go meals instead of eating convenience foods when you’re not home. Store foods like chopped fruits and vegetables or cooked grains, legumes, eggs and meats in your refrigerator so you always have something to grab when you’re in a rush. Buy fresh vegetables and fruits from the grocery store if you forget to bring healthful food from home. When you can’t avoid dining at a restaurant, opt for a salad as a starter, and always ask for the dressing on the side. Clear soups, lean meats, seafood and grain-based dishes like roti, whole grain bread are other good choices. Exercise for 30 to 60 minutes at least three times per week to build muscle and burn more calories. Pilates, strength training, aerobics, swimming, dancing and yoga or a sport like football are ideal choices. If you’re new to exercising, start with brisk walking and jogging. Adopt physically demanding hobbies like bicycling, hiking, jogging, power walking to promote faster weight loss. If you don’t have time for new hobbies, increase your physical activity with things like walking the dog, playing with the kids or jogging instead of driving to a nearby store or taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

Hi, I am diabetic patients last 2 years age 36, Sugar level is fasting 125 and after meal 205, but thing is, done the Hba1ac test, HbA1c. 4.7. Past 3 month sugar Normal, Cholesterol levels is, HDL 26, LDL 49, Triglyceride 800, TC/HDL 6.7,VLDL 160, can you suggest me what should do I now,

Your triglyceride is very high it should be <200 mg/dl. You need to reduce your oil butter and ghee intake. If it does not work take medicines for the same.

I am too fatty and due to this problem I face many difficulties and also I have many pimples in my face so please tell me how to reduce fat and pimples.

You may take one tsp cinnamon and two tsp honey mix it and apply it on your face for one hour. After that wash your face with luke warm water. Do it for ten days. Take plenty of water green veg. Avoid non veg spicy and junk food. Avoid constipation also. Bone weight can not be reduced. But mass weight you can reduce by taking proper diet. You should avoid fatty oily a. Salt intake: maximum five gm per day. B. Do not add salt while cooking as iodine gets evaporated. Add after the cooking is done this c. Sugar intake 20 gm. White sugar. You may use jaggery or honey as alternate of sugar. D. Oil 30 ml per day e. Rice bran oil is the best oil. F. Avoid ghee and butter as much as possible. G. Coconut oil is best for massage. H. Water 1200 ml per day drink it as sip by sip. I. Drink luke water two glass atleast. J. Exercise atleast 6 minutes daily 2 minutes revolve all joints clockwise and anticlockwise wise five time each 2 minutes run on the spot in full speed 2 minutes deep breathing exercise. K. 600 calories breakfast.

My BMI is 31. I'm a fitness freak and regularly devote 1 hr. Daily for exercising. I'm also diet conscious and avoid sugary and salty foods. Despite all these I'm not loosing weight which hovers around 102 to 104 kgs. What should i do for bringing my weight down to a level of 72-74 kgs. Please Advise me.

Just by avoiding sugary and salty food, you wont be able to do much about your weight. You also need do look at your fat intake. Also, controlling your portions is important. Again, how you distribute your total days intake should also be taken into account. So it is better to go for a detailed consultation on diet and get a proper diet plan. Regarding exercise, if one hour of physical activity is your standard, then you might have to increase your physical activity in order to achieve the desired weight loss.

Addwize - addwize is an indian brand name of methyl-phenidate. It is a drug prescribed by doctors for adhd (attention deficit hyperactive disorder) in both adults and children. Some people can have dangerously high blood pressure with this medication. So if a patient complains of severe headache, blurred vision, buzzing in ears, chest pain and shortness of breath then you must get the patient to an emergency department. Ritalin (methylphenidate) is a central nervous system stimulant. It affects chemicals in the brain and nerves that contribute to hyperactivity and impulse control. Ritalin is used to treat attention deficit disorder (add), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (adhd), and narcolepsy. Side effects - nervousness, trouble sleeping, loss of appetite, weight loss, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, or headache may occur.
