Then gradually start an exercise program, eat right and continue breast-feeding to help shed those pounds. Breastfeed Your Baby. Breast-feeding your baby can help you shed pounds. Start Exercising. Walking after a C section can speed recovery. Eat Healthy. Eat a healthy breakfast. Limit Unhealthy Foods. Cesarean sections take more of a toll on your body than uncomplicated vaginal deliveries because you have a major surgery to recover from. With the right balance of healing, light exercise, muscle work and good eating, you' ll be able to reach your goal weight and develop the strength and stamina you' ll need to care for your new addition. Step 1 Wait until you see your doctor for that first follow-up appointment. You may feel ready but your incision site and healing tissues may tell another story. It can take up to six weeks on average before you' re ready to start an exercise routine, according to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Step 2 Start strengthening and tightening your abdominal muscles with some easy breathing exercises designed to work your abdominal muscles. You can perform these exercises from the first day after your C-section, according to The Ohio State University. Place your hands or a pillow over your incision site and breathe deeply, filling up your diaphragm with as much air as possible. Exhale slowly and repeat until your muscles feel tired. Repeat several times per day. Step 3 Eat a diet high in nutrients and low in saturated fat and excess sugars. This will help you lose weight and will support healing and a robust milk supply. Choose whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables and low fat protein sources, according to MayoClinic.com. Make sure you' re only eating when you' re hungry. Step 4 Consider breastfeeding your baby. Researches in a study published in the April 1993 Journal of the American Dietetic Association found that breastfeeding moms lose more weight, more quickly than moms who formula feed. Breastfeeding calls on your body to burn additional calories as it creates and replenishes your milk supply. Step 5 Start a cardio program that includes a low impact but heart-rate increasing activities like walking or swimming. Warm up before exercising and cool down afterward to avoid muscle strain or injury. Perform these exercises at least three times per week, according to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Perform muscle strengthening exercises on off-days as muscle increases fitness level and burns more calories. Stop exercising if you feel a tearing sensation at your incision site or if you develop nausea, dizziness or any type of pain. Start slowly and build back up to your pre-pregnancy workout routines.

Dear lybrate-user, for only symptomatic management of allergy you may consult any of the two specialists. However, for a more comprehensive evaluation and specific management, you should visit an Allergist (Allergy Specialist) in your area. The hypersensitivity reactions in the body (as seen in allergic disorders) have to be effectively managed, not only by avoiding exposure to the offending environmental agents (as identified by the Allergy Skin Prick Test) but also by instituting appropriate therapy for the optimum duration. This will prevent further complications of allergic rhinitis (like allergic sinusitis, recurrent middle-ear infections, allergic bronchitis, atopic asthma, etc.). In case your child is not getting relief or the symptoms have been recurrent or long standing, I suggest you to consult an Allergist for further evaluation and management. Hi, do regular exercise. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet like soyabean, sattu with milk, eggs, sprouts, milk and milk products combination of cereals and pulses, take healthy and heavy breakfast. No drink before meals. Take frequent meals instead of 3 big meals.

Hi. If you can follow few basic things then you will get better results in a short period of time, 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day, 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals, 3) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal, 4) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods, 5) avoid late night sleeping habits, 6) avoid coffee and tea, 7) eat 30-40 black currant and 1 tsf of jaggery during meals A) take 30ml of rubyclin liquid before meals, B) take 1 TSF of HARIDRA KHAND after meals, C) apply paste of MILK and fine powder of turmeric on face, two times in a day. D) apply paste of lemon juice and onion, in the root of hairs, with gentle massage leave it for 15-30 minutes, after that wash hairs with ROOTZ SHAMPOO (rajah ayurved). Do all things for 30 days, gives you good result, THANKS.

Hello! manage to have sprouts every morning. You can have milk with cereal n fruit or sattu sarbat with milk etc. These can be managed easily in hostel as well.

Only following diet plan may not be that effective, you need herbal supplements also, if like inform. See diet plan. Diet Plan Early Morning (6-7 Am): You can have any of the following items to start your day. A glass of lukewarm water with lemon juice, or Grape juice may add Honey one tea spoon. A cup of black or green tea without sugar but may add Gud-Jagery with or without skims milk, and 2 biscuits. Breakfast (8-9 am): One Oats-Yav or Jav or Ragi Roti or chapatti + ½ cup of water soaked whole Moog with garlic and Ardrak. Or one plate of Ragi upma and a cup of Tomato soup or Carrot juice, or Anar or Pine apple or Beet root. Lunch (1-2 pm): Brown Rice (200 grams) + ½ cup mixed vegetables + one small bowl of Raitha or Butter milk + vegetable salad Onion, Carrot, Tomato, Beet root, Khira etc. Instead of Brown Rice one may have two Rotis of Yav-Jav-Oats Aata or wheat Aata + Isabgole 10 gm mixed Roti Evening (4-5 pm): Butter Milk 1 glass or Coconut water or Grapes 20-30, or other seasonal fruits or Murmura, Dinner (8-9 pm): 2 - Chapattis or Rotis + 1 bowl of Vegetable Soup + 1 bowl of salad-Onion, Carrot, Tomato, Radish, Khira etc. OR one bowel of brown rice (200 gm).

It's been two months since I have joined gym and I have lost only 3 kgs. I am also following a diet but I don't understand what is going wrong. I need a better diet plan so that I can lose weight fast since I have been working out a minimum of 2 hours at the gym, still the results are not quite satisfying. I don't eat any processed food or junk food. Only salad and dal for dinner. And 1 chapati with vegetable for lunch. Plus I keep eating a fruit or some nuts every 2-3 hours. Please help me with my diet plan.

Firstly you have lost 3 Kgs through proper exercise and diet, that itself is appreciable. At this rate you can lose 18 Kgs in one year. So my advice will be 1. Be patient and be consistent 2. Slow and steady wins the race in weight loss 3. You must take a roti in dinner also else you are missing out on essential carbohydrates 4. Two hours of Gym is good, but in that spend at least 60 minutes on intense cardio for maximum weight loss 5. You can count and monitor your daily calories through myfitnesspal App. This will give you a clear picture of what is going wrong in your approach if any. 6. All the best

Hye, thanks for the query. The problem is that people want shortcuts to maintain health. The main problem with poor energy levels and stamina and low weight is poor dietary habits. Instead of correcting that you want to opt for a quick fix. Understand, any supplement works only if your basic diet is good. Also to gain weight you don't need proteins alone but a balance of protein carbohydrates and healthy fats. So, if you take a supplement in isolation it won't help. Even if you were to gain weight you will lose it no sooner you discontinue the supplement. So before you do decide to add a supplement first plan a good diet for the supplement to boost gain. A supplement is only as good as your diet is.

Hi Firstly aim to be strong and fit. Don't listen to others. Start eating regular diet and increase it gradually. Eat lot of nuts like almonds, cashew, peanuts. Drink full cream milk, curd, cheese, paneer. If your are non veg you can have more eggs, chicken. Go in for more dals, rajma, kabuli chana. Avoid junk food and colas. Avoid fried foods. Eat healthy Go for regular walks and do yoga. Sleep well. Feel confident about yourself and be positive. Stay Fit Stay Healthy
