2-Lift your abdominal muscle away from the mat.
3-Exhale: Keep your abdominal muscles pulled in extend energy through your spine and out the top of your head to lift your upper body slightly off the mat.
4-Your shoulder blade will slide down your back as your arms reach behind you like they are being blown back. Your head is an extension of your spine. Your gaze will be down .
5- Inhale:Pause Exhale : lengthen and lower Your body to the floor.

How are biscuits and green tea as an option in-between meals snack options for me?

One must have something every 2 hours in order to keep your metabolic rate high. Tea and coffee contain tannin & caffein respectively which aggravates acidity, hence Biscuits (always choose fibre biscuit like Nutri choice etc) should always be accompanied. Green tea is an antioxidant hence repairs the damaged cells in the body, increases metabolic rate and helps maintain the body weight, reduces cholesterol, but should not be taken more than 3 cups a day.

Mr Raghu, Thanks for the query. T2 diabetes is usually said to be common in overweight or obese persons. But it can be seen in persons who are under weight or thin or having normal weight. The reasons are there could be insulin resistance, lack of insulin secretion plus other factors which can contribute are inactivity (no exercise) and intake of junk foods and colas. Excess body fat causes a severe insulin resistance leading to development of diabetes. This can be prevented by adapting lifestyle changes, like diet restriction, exercise and weight control. Thanks.

Change food habites. Add in your daily food. Calcium, vitamines, minirales protein, carbohydrates, sweets, cold drink will help you. You take prosup 1 spoon in a cup of milk in night after dinner.

till now there is cure of any kind for diabetes. Only possibility is to transplant pancreas gland, which has not been very successful or not really done. Therefore, taking regular medicines and adapting a regulated life style are the only options.

Commercially available fruit juices are the worst food choices as they have a high glycemic index instead eat whole fruits. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to. Weight loss on some diets can be dramatic in the short term, but there' s more of a chance of rebound weight gain. Set yourself a realistic target and aim to lose between (0. 5-1. 0kg) a week I being a registered dietitian strongly accommodate the patients own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. It is a common trend among youngsters to smoke weed as they tend to think it makes them look cool. It is a common misconception that smoking pot relieves various social and personal problems. It is used as a form of escape mechanism that allows them to avoid problems in life.

The usual reasons why people turn to smoking pot are:

  1. Peer pressure: You may have friends who smoke weed on a regular basis, so you may be tempted to join in.
  2. Boredom: It is a usual resort to escape from boredom or craving excitement. It is said that smoking weed helps in filling the internal void that results from lack of excitement.

  9. Weed has also been reported to impact the fetus if a pregnant woman smokes it.
  10. It raises the risk of behavioral problems in children.
  11. The complications that a child may face are impaired problem solving skills, attention and memory related disorders.

Thus, it is important to stay away from smoking weed as it is addictive and increases your chances of getting affected by numerous health complications.

Hello sir, This reflects your digestion is not proper. Try to include whole grains, sprouts, seasonal fruits as mid meal snack, seasonal vegetables. Take green tea 3-4 cups a day. Take 3 main meals and 2 side meals. Drink plenty of water. Do some exercise regularly. Thank you

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your postprandial blood sugar is on the borderline so increase the fibre content & proteins in your diet, reduce carbs, avoid fried, processed & junk foods, take a walk for 10-15 min after meals - you require to reduce weight & if you do so then as your sugar levels come down you may not require medication - the treatment depends on your tight blood sugar control by diet & exercise - monitor blood sugar as advised by your doctor & consult him regularly with your progress.

Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and spicy food. And constipation.

1) take 10 ml of fresh lemon juice and ginger juice along with 1 tsf of jaggery along with 60 ml of water early in morning on empty stomach and after meals, 2) do regularly bhujangasana, uttanpadasana and pavanmuktasan regularly early in the morning on empty stomach for 15 minutes. Do this for 30 days it gives you good result.
