You need to have a diet and exercise plan based on your bmi, age & weight and sex, presence of any diseases. Comprehensive exercise& diet plan based on whether vegetarian /non vegetarian can be given if you ask privately. May also need to do some tests. In brief, weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. And by appropriate exercise plans for each part like belly, thighs, legs etc. To burn off fat. Some tips 1) drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take 1/4 of your total diet as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity.

If there is no lump felt by you, it can be retention of water before periods. Take minimum salt, more lemon type juices & weak tea that leads to more urination to get rid of extra water in the body. Drink lots of water. If still worried, get ultrasound of breast -this test is as sensitive as mammography but no radiation risks.

Dt. Manidipa Madam suggested egg for breakfast. When we eat 4-5 eggs whether the yoke of the egg also can be consumed or it should be thrown and only the white to be eaten? pls clarify.

Don't take 4-5 eggs in breakfast.You can have one egg only. If you are over weight take only egg white of one egg only

I am Type II patient for last 20+ years. I used to have actrapid which I have stopped and taking Diamicron 60 XR One Tab a day before lunch. I take Janumet 50/1000 twice a day. And Lantus 24 units before going to bed. The sugar checking is done every day (fasting as well as PP). The readings for the last one year ranges between 80 & 108 fasting. And the PP is between 138 to 160. I have been following a diet, a walk for 1 Kilometer & Yoga. My question is - How to completely stop the medicines (tablets + Lantus). I am 64 years old. Height 6'1" and weight 96 Kgs.

In ayurveda its called kashtsaadhya. You have to continue taking medicine to manage levels of sugar. The only difference between ayurvedic herbs and allopathic is that with former you will not get any side effects like neuropathy, retinopathy etc and if acquired already, it will start receding in 6-8 weeks. But you can't stop allopathy atonce. May gradually increase herbals and reduce allopathic. Initially parallels will have to be taken. Constant monitoring will educate you at what level balance of ayurveda or allopathy is to be kept. You will be the best judge. Parallel treatment with ayurveda will not harm you. No interaction ever. May be if it suits you, you may continue only herbals rest of your life with betterment. But it is easier said than done. Do patiently and adopt pranayam too.

According to ayurveda, for treatmnet of obesity, you firstly stop causative factors from your life style. Like drinking too much cold water, eat too much sweets, day sleep, water after meal, lack of exercise, curd, menda etc. I will need your detail history. Till you can follow this * start drinking hot water * stop day sleep * start any exercise in morning, like suryanamaskar, walking, joging, sports * drink juice of turmeric n ginger with honey * take jau barley, instead of ghenhu wheat. * use cow ghee n milk only * boild rise in open pot, don't use cocker. Withdraw water if rice.

Follow the following tips:- · Pay attention to your health and food intake. · To increase your appetite, have a glass of lime water or 1 cardamom (elaichi) before your meal. · Have minimum 4 meals in a day. · Drink 1 glass of milk twice a day. · Try to enjoy your meals and gradually increase the quantity you eat every time. · A balance diet should have all essential nutrients in it. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It should include combination of Both Carbohydrates and Proteins for e. G. Oats with Milk or Poha/ Upma with a glass of milk. If you do not like milk have 1-2 egg whites in the morning along with your breakfast. · You need to focus on your protein intake: Increase your protein intake e. G. Milk, dairy products- cheese, paneer, lentils (dals), nuts (soya, peanuts, dry fruits), pulses e. G. Rajma, chole, kidney beans etc. Sprouts. If you are a non-vegetarian, then you can have proteins by also eating eggs, chicken, fish. Make sure you are including at least 2 serving of any of these in your daily meal. · Lunch and dinner again should be a combination of Proteins, Carbohydrates and Fats which could have dal, roti, sabji/chicken, salad. · Please do have minimum 4 almonds or a small bowl of peanuts every day. · Please ensure that you drink at least 3 litres of water every day. Iron deficiency is most common among people of all age groups. The nutrient is critical, because it not just produces haemoglobin, it also protects red cells by providing them enough oxygen. Check out these symptoms to know if you are iron deficient.

1) Exhaustion- Do you feel tired, exhausted all the time? Most women think that it?s because of their frantic life. But it could actually be because your tissues don?t get enough oxygen.

Many times its lack of intake as per stress or activity levels that can cause weakness. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy eggs nuts fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Sleep at least 7-8 hrs at night. Get blood haemoglobin levels, blood glucose levels, thyroid levels and vitamin d and b12 levels tested for deficiency or insufficiency.

Hi for reduced weight you should work out as per you consume calories and it will take time just continue work out. Take following remedies for loosing weight 1. Arogya vardhini vati 2 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Abhayarishta 4 tsp before lunch nad dinner 3. Morning break fast=mung dal green soup 1 boul and if feel hunger have pomegranate or apple 4. Lunch 2 chaati + fruit vegetable + if you like rice 1 bowl and dal + barley soup 5. Evening 4-5 pm have some milk with sunth or any fruit you like 6. Dinner barley soup 2 bowl and one fruit follow this diet you will get reduced weight.

How to control weight. Walking for about 10 kms per day would be sufficient with average speed of 10 mnts per kilometer. What else precautions reqd. A lemon with lukewarm water with two teaspoon honey is advisable.

A) take 30 ml of fresh LEMON JUICE, GINGER JUICE and 15ml of honey along with lukewarm water early in the morning on empty stomach. B) eat 1 TSF of BLACK CUMIN SEEDS along with 1 TSF of jiggery after meals.
