To gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects

Tips for proper sleep 1.Have a glass of whole milk (without the cream removed) with green cardamom powder before going to bed. 2.Have 1 teaspoon of licorice root powder with a glass of milk on an empty stomach in the morning. 3.Boil 3 grams of fresh mint leaves or 1.5 grams of dried powder of mint leaves in 1 cup of water for 15-20 minutes. Take lukewarm with 1 teaspoon of honey at bedtime. 4.Massage your feet with lukewarm mustard oil 2-3 times a day and before going to bed. 5. Take light meals at night and drink 10-15 glasses of water daily. 6.Stop using gadgets 1 hr before sleep.switch off lights at 11:00 pm. 7. Sleep in total dark room. 8.Add some fresh rose petals in a cup of boiling water. Keep it aside till it is lukewarm. Add ½ teaspoonful of sugar to it and have this twice a day. This is a good drink to uplift mood. 9.Do yoga daily 30 min n shavasana daily 5 min before sleep.... 10.Do deep breathing for 2-3 min after every 1 hr.... Revert back after 5 days.

Hi, Go for aerobics for 30 mnts. Take, banana,butter, hot milk, almonds ,walnuts in d break fast. Add ghee in lunch with breads, rice, pulses . Take, apples, carrots,soya been, rajama, cheese, milk,pumpkins,spinach, regularly. Take, plenty of water to eliminate toxins and to regulate metabolism to complete d digestion to allow body growth, smoothly. Avoid, dust,smoke, caffiene, nicotine, junk food,alcohol. Take, homoeo medicine: @ AlfalfaQ-10 drops, thrice with little water. Report, fortnightly,please. Take care

If you continue to drink, you will have problems whether you are doing martial arts or not. For maximum benefits you should stop any and all habits that are detrimental ot good health. Martial arts will be excellent for you to regain your health and even help you to quit.

Weakness is a result of lack of physical or muscle strength. If you are feeling that extra effort is required to move your arms, legs, or other muscles, it could also be a result of any disease, illness and too much activity at one time and not taking the food to match the amount of physical effort you are doing. Sometimes low levels of minerals (electrolytes), such as potassium or sodium also result in body weakness. Other important reason could be the problems with your thyroid gland. Because your thyroid gland is responsible for regulating the way the body uses energy. A low thyroid level can cause fatigue, weakness, laziness, weight gain etc. And a high thyroid level can cause fatigue, weight loss, muscle weakness etc. Sometime because of stress you may feel disinterest in your routine works. Since the reasons for your weakness are not known, I shall advise the following - 1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. Take one good multivitamin tablet after food for 7 days.

Dinesh 1st important thing , improve your digestive system by digesting your indigested food in the body..so walk regularly for good metabolism... take aayurvedic tablet chitrakadi bati after meal regularly.. take ashwgandha powder with milk daily maximum intake of fruit juices.. take high protein diet.. take sleep after meal... drink warm milk with honey before sleeping.. and for back pain,walk is best way to removal from this..and do some yoga in the morning..

Nothing to be done now wait for your periods to finish and see how it goes if bleefing is very scanty then do urine pregnancy test after a few days to confirm the status.

Hello lybrate-user, first line of treatment for diabetes is to avoid sugar, sweets, white rice, potato, sweet fruits and avoid sedentary lifestyle. At least 40mints of walk or 30mints exercise is must. If her diabetes is still more after avoiding sweet and doing exercise then she should consult a diabetologist.

Hi lybrate-user techniques to burn belly fat aerobic workouts aerobic workouts increase your heart rate. The cardiovascular exercises help to blaze calories and fat from your body. To reduce belly fat follow the rule. Do aerobic exercises for 30 minutes, 5 days per week. If you follow the program, you are sure to burn calories resulting in weight loss of 2 lbs in a week. Increase the time to another 30 minutes, to shed more weight. Fast walking, swimming and pedaling your way are the workouts to reduce belly fat. Indian women can easily reduce belly fat by doing domestic work without using any machines. Circuit training circuit training is doing a combination of workouts repeatedly. It includes 30 seconds of jogging, 10 lunges, 10 pushups, 10 bicep curls, 10 sit-ups and 10 squats. Doing the circuit training regularly, you can increase your heart rate and improve your muscle groups in your body such as core, legs buttocks and arms. Complete the circuit training exercise by doing the activities mentioned in 1 one minute without any break. The routine workout helps your weight loss program. To loose fat avoid sugar, sweetened juice including soda, soft drinks, tea/coffee with added sugar. Eat whole fruits, vegetables as these will help to reduce fat. Eat whole grain, whole wheat, brown rice, brown bread, oats. Avoid fast foods, junk foods, processed foods. Eat good proteins like lean meat, egg white, fish like tuna, peanuts, soyabean, soy products, mushroom etc. Use healthy fat like fish oil, olive oil, almond, walnut etc. Drink lots of water but not during meals. Drink water before meals. Do regular exercise like swimming, skipping, push ups, sit ups, yoga etc.

hello saman, firstly u don't take tension .u will start luke warm water with lemon juice early morning.take luke warm water before and after meals. do brisk walk daily. take high fiber diet . take plenty of fruits. have small and frequent meals. don't skip your meals. don't skip your breakfast specially.

Dear Lybrate User, you may have come across a number of gimmicking advertisement of medicines which claim to decrease body weight in a very short time. Don’t fall prey for such advertisement because the excess weight would not be shredded until each & every underlying cause of being overweight is diagnosed & treated. Normally 1 kg of fat occupies thrice the volume than that of 1 kg of muscle. That’s why accumulation of fat makes a person so bulky whereas body-builders have a shredded physique although most of the body-builders are overweight according to the BMI index. So it is evident that to lose the excess weight you have to get rid of the excess fat in your body. Now the basic role behind the process of accumulation of fat in human body is played by Metabolism. Metabolism is the set of life-sustaining chemical transformations within the cells of living organisms. The three main purposes of metabolism are the conversion of food/fuel to energy to run cellular processes, the conversion of food/fuel to building blocks for proteins, lipids, nucleic acids, and some carbohydrates, and the elimination of nitrogenous wastes. In order to lose the excess fat you need to increase your rate of metabolism. First of all you need to rule out the possibility of the presence of any hormonal disturbance that may be affecting your metabolism. Just conduct a total Thyroid profile test of all your blood (also Serum Testosterone level in case of males). If the reports are within normal limits then you should proceed further to increase your metabolism. If you find any abnormalities in the report you should immediately consult a doctor.

Hye. Thankyou for the query. Every individual has a certain nutrient needs. If your basic diet is not good no amount of almonds will help 100 percent. Depending on your needs almonds can be a part of the diet but the amount will depend on the time of the day and the combination in which taken as well. As a snack and as a part of a healthy diet anywhere between 8 to 12 almonds can be recommended depending on need.

Dear, you will definitely get more stamina by following these very useful tips. * you should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, milk, chapattis or rice, butter / cream, cereals (daals) or cheese every day. * very important thing, do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time * drink atleast 2 litres of water daily. * proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours, then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep. * do breathing execises daily in morning & evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes, take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. *take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. Then slowly walk fast and slowly start running. You can do it on treadmill also. * you can do surya namaskar yogasan daily to improve your stamina under the guidance of yoga expert.

Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front.
