It is not a good idea of Increasing intake of junk foods and fatty foods to gain weight. You should be eating calorie dense yet nutritious food. Your calorie intake should come from foods that are healthy for you. The weight gaining diet should include high protein foods, high carbohydrate foods and healthy fats. Include these in your diet. Breakfast: Banana and milk or banana shake or smoothie, whole-grain toast, fruits, nuts. Eat more fruit and drink less juice. Do not take milk mixed with ghee . It is not healthy. Lunch: Roti or chapatti or wholegrain bread, rice, green vegetables, paneer, dal, chole recipe, black-eyed beans (lobia), rajma, whole wheat pudding (dalia), etc Dinner: Similar to lunch In-between meals:: fruit, sandwich, yogurt (curd), milk, cheese, salad Avoid deep fried snacks like samosa (samosa recipe), pakodas, bhujia etc. Avoid fast foods .

Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control....take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day....medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day....and pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day...avoid junk food...oily food...fermented food..alcohol consumption..sugar....milk products and sweets....take oats and cereals more..and do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day...and do exercises....dont sleep immediately after taking meal...you can take my 'obesity treatment package' which is available on lybrate in health packages

Dear lybrate-user, the right way to reduce weight is making a balance in your diet and exercises both. Maintain your calorie intake to maximum of 1500/day and try to burn 500 calories per day through exercise the ratio of carbohydrates, protein and fat of the total diet should be: carbohydrates -50% protein-40% fat-10%

Hi lybrate-user here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit.

Within 15 minutes after waking up in the Morning I take one Banana to maintain Blood Sugar in the body. Hello sir, I want to know that how to get slim and fit body what is food that we have to eat please help me.
Weight reduction you need to have a diet and exercise plan based on your bmi, age & weight and sex, presence of any diseases. There are exercises specific for each part of body like cheek, hips, thighs or abdomen/ buttocks, or chest. There are matters to be discussed. Comprehensive exercise& diet plan based on whether vegetarian /non vegetarian can be given. May also need to do some tests. In brief, weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. And by appropriate exercise plans for each part like belly, thighs, legs / chest etc. To burn off fat. Some tips 1) drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take 1/2 of your total diet as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. And do aerobic exercises, running, jogging or at least walking briskly 3-5 kms and swimming if possible, and in a gym if feasible. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests. Chart timing foods to eat calories early morning lukewarm water with lemon 1 glass 0 tea without sugar + 2 biscuits 90 breakfast 2 rotis + 1/2 cup paneer curry 330 or brown bread upma 1 plate + milk 1 cup 300 mid-morning 1 banana/1/2 cup melon/20 grapes 50 lunch brown rice 1 cup (195 gm) + mixed vegetables 1/2 cup + salad 1 bowl + raita 1 small bowl 345 evening butter milk 1 cup 35 dinner 2 rotis + vegetable soup 1 bowl + salad 1 bowl 370 total 1220/1190 cal.

Of course not. Common symptoms of diabetes =frequent urination excessive thirst unexplained weight loss extreme hunger sudden vision changes tingling or numbness in the hands or feet feeling very tired much of the time very dry skin sores that are slow to heal. More infections than usual. If you want to clear then check blood sugar level fasting sugar level and postprandial blood sugar level.

Dear, Whatever you are eating now, you should probably double it.  If you eat three meals a day, instead eat six.  You need to be eating every 2-3 hours, and each meal needs to be the size of a normal meal.  This is going to be difficult for a few weeks, because you’ll often have to force yourself to eat even when you’re not hungry.  500 extra calories a day = 1 extra half kg gained per week.  Whatever you’re eating now, add an additional 1000 calories (spread throughout the day), and you’ll put on 1 kg a week.  Not just any calories though…Eat a lot of good things – You need to eat a ridiculous amount of calories (probably 3500+ per day) if you want to gain weight, but you want to make sure most of those calories are GOOD calories.  If you want to build muscle, you want to eat healthy calories that are loaded with good protein, good carbs, and healthy fats…which brings me to my next point:Protein = building block for your muscles. Chicken, fish, meat, eggs, milk, almonds, peanuts.  Eat lots of this stuff, all the time. Yes but you are sexually active much. You do not have control over your feelings/impulse and hence facing the things. You may be doing meditation and or yoga but that is not up to the mark. Also avoid taking fast-foods/night watching/sedentary lifestyle. Take acid phos 1 m single dose and revert after 2 weeks. Continue treatment.

I'm 21 years old female. Im an epilepsy patient. I got 3-4seizures per month this was repeated for 2months. After consulting Dr, I started taking (diproex er 500) tablet. After that I didn't any seizures. I started taking drugs from the age of 9-21. Can I recover from this seizures without taking drugs? Can I get married with this problem? Hye, thanks for the query. Just eating fruits or depending on a single food item to help gain weight is a totally wrong approach. Weight gain is about a wholesome dietary approach. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals. Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, rice and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes. Snack on nuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and chikki are good choices. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite.

Dear lybrate-user, Namaskar, Body form and physique is generally decided genetically. However your efforts can modify it substantially. Join a Gymnasium ,do exercises and take guidance of a nutritionise-Dietician for gainig body weight. Get proper treatment for eosinophilia from a Chest and allergy specialist. Take Tab. Carnitor (Win medicare) 2 tab. Twice a day for 15 days and then 1 tab twice a day for two and a half month for your sexual shortcomings. Take care.

Please note the followings in respect to your queries: 1. Banana and Milk -- Bananas are full of calories and contain high amount of carbohydrates and potassium that give you instant energy. Whosoever want to gain weight must eat a banana daily in the morning with a glass of warm milk. Add a teaspoon of sugar in it. Moreover, you can also have it after your meals. kindly take guduchyadi kshayam, 2 tsf in half a glass of warm water, before meals, thrice a day. Avoid cold water, curd, tea, spicy food in your diet. Take liquid diet like daliya, khicdi, moong daal in your diet.

I have non provocative vulvodynomia. I feel burning down there at all times. Is there any cure? Kindly help.
Vulvodynia is a chronic pain syndrome and cause is not known as it is believed to be due to genetic, diet or autuimmune or immunology where body gets angry with itself, one has to rule out other causes of swellings here by doing a biopsy test. Treatment involves a number of measures, however none is universally effective and none of the studies done so far show any promise. Proper vulvular care, diet, counselling, and conservative treatment, if not successful may be surgery needs to done. This condition affects 16 % of women but it is no consolation. Keep the area clean, wear cottons and be specially careful to maintain hygiene during periods.
