Hye, Thanks for the query. Children need a lot of energy nutrients for the rapid growth taking place. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: Feed more frequently. She may feel full faster. Feed five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals.Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose rice, rawa, poha ; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and powdered nuts. Don't fill up on tea, coffee and other packeted, so called health drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy milk shakes. Even when underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and kheer are good choices. Keep her active. It will help increase appetite.

Hi , if you are ok with eggs, both of you should eat atleast one egg in a day as it promotes healing. If not, you must eat protein rich food like sprouts, pulses and milk. As far as the precautions are concerned, try and avoid infection to the wound by not touching it much and cleaning it with a gauze piece.

well u can have any types of dates or brand.but make sure that at least it's having proper cleaniness nd hygiene.dates are beneficial for health.but for your father it's better to avoid dates in case if diabetic patient.but if your father wants to have then he can have that only in case of controlled sugar.and not 4-5 but can have 1-2 sometimes.hope you get the answer you want.and if need any other hlp feel free to ask anytime.take care dear.hav a gud day!

Yes nutri gain is healthy for you but also try to follow proper diet because supplements and medicines work in isolation with diet. To have muscular body you have to be careful about food food choices & protien intake. Hello sir, This reflects your digestion is not proper. Try to include whole grains, sprouts, seasonal fruits as mid meal snack, seasonal vegetables. Take green tea 3-4 cups a day. Take 3 main meals and 2 side meals. Drink plenty of water. Do some exercise regularly. Thank you

Hi lybrate-user hi to increase weight you need to have calorie rich meals well placed throughout the day to form 4-5 meals a day. Foods like milk and milk products, nuts, eggs, ghee based home made sweets, pulses.

Dr. I feed her milk with spoon. Actually I do not have enough breast milk from earlier itself. Inspite of taking all tablets that increase milk I do not have enough milk. N now only a small amount of milk is produced by my body. And Dr. said dat no prblm as nw she has started eating everything n as she is eating everything in liquid form except milk. Is der any prblm?

If your baby is active, healthy and playful then there is nothing to be worried about. But further to make your baby's diet more wholesome as she is now 10 months you can add 1. Mashed banana 2. Soaked and crushed cereals 3. Top milk (preferably cow's milk) 4. Mashed boiled eggs 5. In addition to as much breast milk she intakes feed her as many times she wishes. Frequent meals without a long gap in between help children grow best.

Hi lybrate-user, start your day with a fresh juicy fruit. Good on stomach. Breakfast should be wholesome. Eat every 2 hours. Main meal options are roti-sabzi-dahi, rice-dal-sabzi, khichdi-dahi, etc. Workout 150 minutes a week, that's like thrice a week. Even though food is free in office, stay off junk that comes out of the packaged products including chips, sodas and juices. Stay hydrated. Ab crunches, squats, pilates, air cycling, swimming, suryanamaskaras definitely help. All the best and keep progressing on your fitness journey! hope this helps.

Weight gain is muscle gain and not fat gain. You will have to eat at least 6 meals in a day at a regular interval with a proper ratio of proteins and carbohydrates. Proteins will help you gain body mass while carbohydrates will help you give energy. Protein foods are milk and milk. Products, and dals. Carbohydrate foods are roti and rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes. You have to eat vegetables and fuits and use healthy and good fats for cooking. You will also have to do some weight training exercise to help you build mass into the body. Also drink enough water to keep you hydrated. You do need exercise in the form of weight training 3 times a week which will help you build muscle. Muscles will make you stronger and fitter.

Diabetes is a disease which remains for life time. There is no cure, only control is possible by taking regualr treatment either with oral anti diabetic drugs or with insulin injections. Apart from taking drugs one has to exercise for at least 1 h a day and eat restricted diet avoiding sweets and deep fried foods. Plus consume good amount of green salads.
