Lybrate-user ji. Looking to your prblm. Your weight is much more than wht you should have according to your height. You can hv a maximum wt of 74 kg. So try nd reduce your wt by 18-19 kgs. You may also b hving some arthritis due to your age. As cartilage of your knee must b damaged. Nd to rejuvunate it you need to take some medicines. For that you need to consult me privately. Nd yes as far as possible do not use staircase till you reduce your wt to 74 kg. Do not bend your knee for more than 90 degree. I mean stop using indian toilets nd use western toilets. Use dining table for taking lunch or dinner. I mean do not sit on the floor.

This could be due to oa knee &/or obesity. Physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Any way take bio d3 max 1tab odx10days ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days do knee exercises. It may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Continue with badminton, increase your stamina gradually try & loose some weight.

Go for fasting once a week. You can go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid diet to digest ama (toxin). Fasting should be followed by hot fomentation or by taking a bath with lukewarm water or steam bath. After fasting and fomentation, mix powdered long pepper, black pepper and dried ginger in equal quantities and take 1 teaspoon of this powdered mix with lukewarm water twice a day. This will help you restore your digestive fire. Take one tablespoon of castor oil before going to bed, once or twice a week. It helps in cleansing ama (toxin) build up and balancing vata. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Its early symptoms of arthritis. Take an x-ray of both knees with help of your family phyaician and take some ayurvedic treatment from qualified ayu practitioner.

I am 52 years old. I am a contractor and buy with my construction work. Unfortunately from last 1 year I am suffering from osteoarthritis. I am having pain below my right knee. I can't walk for long distances because I get pain below my knee. Six months before I started to take parijata devotion daily in the morning for 45 days. Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

You need three to four hours to digest a big meal. • Spicy or sugary food, even at suppertime, is usually a bad idea. Spices can irritate your stomach, and when it tosses and turns, so will you. Having a lot of sugary food—especially chocolate, which contains caffeine—can make you feel jumpy. • Try a soothing aromatic bath before bedtime. Add 5 drops lavender oil and 3 drops ylang-ylang oil to warm bathwater and enjoy a nice soak.

First: I am having a lower back pain since one month I used to gym regularly now too .Before I used to get pain but after few days it goes but this pain now doesn't go. Its not a continues pain. I get it when I sit comfortably and when I stand I get that pain and to lessen the pain I lean back and stretch . Second: I get this pain in keens, extreme pain when I jump or I carry weight down stairs or if walk on a slope also when I sit on my bike and push my self forward.

Swelling is a common problem after fracture, even after surgery. However we need to make sure that the fracture has united. Are you fully bearing weight on your legs? Do you have a recent x Ray. Please post the x Ray here. If fracture has united, a crepe bandage and physiotherapy will reduce the swelling.

Please understand that the gold standard and correct way of practicing medicine is to clinically examine first and based on clinical findings and possible diagnoses, suggest appropriate tests to either confirm or refute the possibilities in mind. Getting all kinds of tests done is a futile exercise. Certain basic blood tests may be done such as hemogram, rft, lft, rbs, electrolytes, tsh to get a general sense of direction. But otherwise, randomly ordering tests is not a good idea. Please get examined by a good doctor and then act on his guidance. Take care!

I am 37 yrs old working in pvt. Company. Now a days I am feeling very tired after doing small household works. Legs pain after climbing few steps. Reach home after climbing 2 flrs sit for 15-20 mins by taking long breathing, sometimes cant even talk immediately.

For knee pain the best treatment course would be to undergo janu vasti at a panchakarma centre near u. After undergoing janu vasti, you shall be completely treated. If need the doc might prescribe you some ayurvedic medicines depending on your body type. Till then you can have drumstick soup daily. Also boil 2 pieces of garlic in 1 cup milk & 1 cup water. When 1 cup remains, strain & drink daily after adding 1 tsf cow ghee. If you want guidance on ayurvedic medicines

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).
