I feel hardness and discomfort near my heart almost everyday. And it all is happening since 4 years. I have consulted 3-4 times to doctors during this period but nothing happened positive. Should I go for the ECHO and TMT. Pls suggest me any other test rather than ECG. As ECG is not very effective as far as I know. Or please give me some advise to get rid off this problem. Is it anxiety? Or It related to heart disease. Please give your opinion. thank you.

Hi my mother had BP issues so she was taking Aten 25, then the doctor advised for Ecosprin 75. Since she started ecosprin she was facing mouth ulcer, diarrhoea, She suddenly started feeling continuous but mild chest pain, so went to check with doctor. After consultation with doctor, they advised to go for tablet Telpres Mt 25 but after this also she has headache and ulcer/diarrhoea sometimes and she feels tired most of the times. We had gone through ECG Stress ECG many times during last 6 months, all were fine. Blood/urine tests, sonography results all fine Please advise what to do More details about the presenting complaint: Headache, mouth ulcers, diarrhoea, fatigue Previous history of the same issue: BP issues, continuous but mild chest pain, acidity Current medications: Telpres mt 25 Past medications of the same issue: Aten 25, ecosprin 75 Lab tests performed: ECG, Stress ECG, Blood/urine tests, Sonography.

Her ulcers and diarrhoea could have been due to Ecosprin, but if after stopping ecosprin they are still persisting then it is possible she may be having some gastric issue like gastric ulcer, so please consult a gastroenterologist for the same, she may also need endoscopy. You should get an echo, hemoglobin and thyroid function test done as well, if her TMT is fine there is no need for ecosprin. Her weakness could be due to the current BP medication which may be leading to low heart rate and excessive lowering of BP so you can discuss about a medicine change with your doctor.

My mother have high bp 157/100 today. She got tired when walked. She has sleeping problem also. What to do.

My mother have high bp 157/100 today. She got tired when walked. She has sleeping problem also. What to do.
Firstly Don't worry. Blood pressure Keeps fluctuating in everyone depending upon our physical & psychological stress levels.(BP sabh mein upar neeche hote rehta hai. Stress mein jyada aur rest mein Kam hota hai ).   you need to take a digital BP machine & keep a BP record (Digital BP machine le lo.(see my video on how to use it properly. Aur khud ka BP check karo.   .check it daily for at least one week & Every time you need to measure BP twice or thrice with a gap of 15 mins rest & note down the lowest reading. We need to know how low your blood pressure can go by just resting. If your blood pressure does not become normal by resting then you will need for the revaluation and medication. (Har 15 -15 min k Baad. Aur note karo BP aaram karne se kamm hota hai ya nhi. Ager aaram karne se BP normal ho jata hai to apko BP ki bimari nhi hai. Sirf stress hai. Aur.jinka BP continuously lagatar high rehta hai unko dawa chalu karne ya badhane aur tests ki jaroorat Hoti hai.) You need to first understand few things about blood pressure. Normal range of blood pressure is between 90/60 to 140/90 & blood pressure keeps fluctuating in every one. In stress it rises & while resting it decreases. If it is constantly higher then 140/90 & does not decrease by resting it's then called hypertension.  Many factors can affect blood pressure, including: 1) The amount of water and salt you have in your body 2) The condition of your kidneys, nervous system, or blood vessels 3) Your hormone levels 4) your lifestyle - smoking, drinking, exercise  Stress, less sleep, smoking, alcohol, overweight, heart, kidney problems, lack of physical exercise. All of these can cause High blood pressure. You are more likely to be told your blood pressure is too high as you get older. This is because your blood vessels become stiffer as you age. When that happens, your blood pressure goes up.  Highblood pressure increases your chance of having a stroke, heart attack, heart failure, kidney disease, or early death. So my advice to you would be 1) Basic tests should be one to rule out cardiac / kidney issues & find if there is any treatable cause of High blood pressure 2) unless any recent evaluation has been done I would advice these test ECG ECHO Lipid Profile TSH KFT  Renal doppler Fundoscopy Vit D Vit B12 Get back to me with a detailed history and  old / new records For Now Keep taking the same medicines which you are taking (if you are taking ).plus Start lifestyle changes & diet changes Emphasizes vegetables, fruits, and fat-free or low-fat dairy products. Includes whole grains, fish, poultry, beans, seeds, nuts, and vegetable oils. Limits sodium, sweets, sugary beverages, and red meats. Along with this, other lifestyle changes can help lower your blood pressure. They include staying at a healthy weight, exercising, and not smoking.

Hi 17 days before I had fissure and hemmoride surgery. My blood pressure is 100/150. Normally it is 90/130. After the bleeding at bowel movement or pain it increases again to 100/150. Is it normal to have High blood pressure after hemorrhoids surgery. And some time I start to faint out. I can't see for a fraction of second it's like having a flash light in front of eye. Need some guidance.

Hi Generally after conventional surgery bleeding can happen for 5 to 6 days but after that bleeding generally is just drops or completely stops .post surgery you should be regularly doing sitz bath and that is setting in warm water, eating high fibre food ,taking laxatives and painkillers. Fainting attack can happen sometimes because of severe pain while passing motion .your fluctuation in blood pressure needs further evaluation you should do your repeat haemoglobin level and consult your surgeon once again without delay.

No dear, it isn't due to low blood pressure. For that you start doing meditation and yoga everyday in morning before 8am for 10-15 mins.
