4 ways to never fall sick at season change

It is your body's immune system that stands between you and the germs. But sometimes it can fail to protect you against disease-causing microbes.

Nonetheless, there are ways in which you can significantly boost your body's immune system and these are:

1. Get adequate sleep and manage your stress well

Depriving yourself of sleep as well as being under stress all the time can hinder the functioning of your immune system. These two actions can bring about an increase in the production of cortisol or the stress hormone and a decrease in the production of protective proteins called cytokines that act against infection or inflammation. Moreover, research shows that individuals who don't get adequate quality sleep are more prone to falling sick.

2. Include fruits, vegetables and nuts in your diet

For boosting your immunity, you need to have an adequate amount of fruits and vegetables as well as nuts. This is because the strength of your immunity rests on nutrients that are supplied to your body. In order for your immune system to experience the beneficial effects of the various nutrients including vitamins and minerals, oats, barley, carrots and cauliflower are few of the immunity-boosting foods that you need to include in your diet.

A test conducted on a group of older adults reveal that upping the consumption of fruits and vegetables improved antibody reaction to the Pneumovax vaccine, which is given out to protect against the bacteria called streptococcus pneumonia.

3. Soak in some sun

Vitamin d obtained from the sun can help in boosting your immune system. Research by the university of Copenhagen has revealed that vitamin d or sunshine vitamin is vital for triggering and arming your body's t cells (a form of white blood cells responsible for killing bacteria or virus infected cells) against disease-causing microorganisms. In order for these cells to be activated, sufficient amount of vitamin d must be made available in the blood.

4. Say 'yes' to exercise

Just as certain foods play an important role in strengthening the immune system, exercise is also essential for promoting general good health and a strong immune system. It helps in improving the flow of blood, enabling the ease of movement of cells and substances throughout the body, thereby allowing them to work efficiently.

Hi im 21 years old boy medical student I really need help this depression and tension is killing me mentally and physically i am not fit now a days coz of my long distance girlfriend behaviour It has been 1 years we are dating to each other 6 months was good but after that when I got to know they are some friends of her who flirt and she also do sometimes all friends are from facebook I have scolded her many times please respect me coz I never flirt with any girl also should not do she said i am sorry I will not do it again but after few month there is always a guy in her life used come and flirt with her which I found irritated all the time those are their friends from facebook who is very far from her hometown when I scold her she used to say do not need to interfere in my friend zone I know how to handel it you only say i am in long distance if her any friends flirt with her do you think I feel good no right when I try to stop that guy or block she is against me coz she tells friends are more important then you coz they came before now a days she never value my words no respect I can surely say she gets attracts easily coz she is just 17 years old girl of class 10 I feel insecure all they what she is doing with whom she talking how she is replying coz there no such guys male friends who flirt and she also react she can not say no coz she do not want to hurt them feelings and do not want to lose them I do not have value at all her behaviour hurts me alot she told me I changed her now a days im fed up by your listing your words I need a break or leave she used to say im so genuine to her and she is always against me she makes me down all the time what to do this comes to depression and tension all the always fight is there coz of their fb friends help me suggest me what to do distraction is going on my head can not study well and her tension makes me more insecure help me please.

When you see that she doesn't care for you then it's high time that you move on. She is behaving improperly but you need to take note of the same that due to your girlfriend you are also not sincere with your studies. When something doesn't give you peace and happiness then don't get into it.

At your age this claim is serious. If you have depression then there are some major ramifications to take into account. I believe there may be some genetic predisposition or there has been some childhood issue, related to anger, that needs urgent attention. You must go and meet with a counselor immediately and if that person advises that you meet with a doctor you must do so and cooperate to your utmost. Please visit these professionals along with your parents. In the meantime please do the following sincerely because you could resolve the problem better with good cooperation: Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. I suggest you do the opposite of what this depression makes you feel like doing (actually, not doing): you will need to fight this condition. You must become active; stay upright during the daylight time; meet people; never sleep during the day, wake up by 6 am every day, play some active games, especially contact games, do physical exercises, talk to people and join some social clubs, attend Yoga classes etc. Watch sitcoms on TV or comedies and cheer yourself up. Go for excursions in groups, for outings, camps, conferences, and religious conventions. Get a pet dog and spend time training it, exercising it and relating to it. Expose yourself to some sunlight every day, at least, 30 minutes but not in the scorching heat. Whatever happens, please incorporate these three important adaptations in your life: always be responsible, be respectful, and be functional. If you did these three, lots of things will go well in life. Please pray and have faith in God to alleviate your sufferings. Don’t wait for others to help. Use your own motivation, which might be at its lowest, but persevere and win this battle. Above all to be really happy, you need to live in love and for love. Learn all about emotions and how to handle them and that will get you out of the depression rather easily and quickly. A counselor is there only to facilitate you, all the hard word must come from you, and your cooperation with that person is very critical for your success. Be positive every day and learn to be contented with what you have. Do some left brain exercises: it is the happy brain. Here are a few suggestions: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. Whatever happens please cooperate with the therapy and do not discontinue until the condition is completely resolved.

One of the most common queries faced by doctors dealing with pregnancies are risks associated with having sex during the gestation and post-partum periods. Such doubts arise from both genuine concern and also from several superstitions and myths.

As a matter of fact, having sex during pregnancy is perfectly normal and safe. However, keeping in mind the changes the woman is going through, there are a few specific do's and don'ts you need to follow while having sex during pregnancy.

Do's

  1. Be aware: Pay attention to the doctor's evaluation of the expecting mother's condition. Many pregnancy risks can be predicted at an early stage. Abstain in case of predictions pointing to a risky gestation period and/ or delivery. Get yourself tested regularly, so that there is no possibility of transmitting infections to the expecting mother.
  2. Enjoy foreplay: Pregnancy normally results in increased sensation in the erotogenic zones. Foreplay is a great way to relieve a woman's tension and she will enjoy your touch more than ever.
  3. Pay attention to your partner's needs and reactions: Women have to go through a lot during pregnancy like fatigue all the time, along with sudden nausea and extreme mood swings. So, paying more attention to your partner's needs and reactions will help make the act more enjoyable for both of you.

Don'ts

  1. Don't go for multiple partners: Multiple partners increase the risk of infections. It is not advisable to have sex with multiple partners during this time.
  2. Don't Use sex toys: Use of sex toys during pregnancy is discouraged as it increases the risk of infections.
  3. Don't Try risky positions and maneuvers: Please keep your desires for exotic positions in check. Risque behavior can lead to injuries.
  4. Don't Keep yourself ahead of her: It is perfect idiocy to keep your desires ahead of the needs and desires of the love of your life. By putting yourself ahead of her you will not only negatively affect her mental health, but her physical health as well.
  5. Do not mix drugs with intimacy: Use of intoxicants during her pregnancy to enhance your senses will put the healthy growth and delivery of the child in jeopardy. A number of birth defects in children are the result of using intoxicating substance use during pregnancy.

If you want to control hair fall naturally, follow this - 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in vitamin c like amla and oranges. 10. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from the body.

Hi, hair loss and causing baldness great problems now. Because there are so many types of scalp hair loss, finding the cause can be challenging. This review will cover the most common causes of hair loss occurring on normal scalp skin. The medical term for hair loss is alopecia. More than 95% of causes of hair loss in men are due to male-pattern baldness, a genetic characteristic. Such condition is hereditary (genetic) and various different genes have been shown to be involved. Egg oil (eyova) or coconut oil: massage coconut or egg oil onto your scalp, using your fingertips in small circular motions. Make sure not to rub or caress hard against the hair roots like many people do. Just use your fingertips very gently in small circular motion about 20 times for every section of the scalp. Apply this remedy twice a week. Get result. Ok.

You may be suffering from androgenic alopecia which is also called as pattern baldness. The hairs start reducing in density at the crown (top) and also the hairline starts refeeding from the front. This is usually progressive throughout life unless treated. This is usually accompanied by severe dandruff which we call seborrhoea. The FDA approved treatment for this condition is a lotion and tablets. There is no other alternative. No oil or cream will magically work because the hairs are getting miniaturised and eventually disappearing due to the hormonal effects on the hair roots. Use same cream but change your food habites. Avoid too oily end ghee prepretions, prikales, spacy, fast food etc. Take simpal veg food with salad both times. Home made will help you. Do arobic excersices, yoga will also help you.

Use Tea Tree face wash and Toner twice daily. Use AHA Glow face wash once in a day. Use Sunscreen with SPF 30 daily. Use natural face pack of Multani Mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar for 5 minutes after washing your face and splash it clean with water.  Most important is diet- Do not eat Junk, Eat more Vegetables and fruits especially with Vitamin C.

If you have a regular headache, it can be due to stress, eye problem, sinusitis or migraine. I can help you if you give me a detailed history. Avoid stress. Have enough sleep. Get your eyes checked.

Your friend is either lacking concentration or does not have interest in studies. He should exercise and do some meditation to gain concentration He can use Saraswataarishta 3 spoons morning and evening after adding in half cup of water regularly for 3 months.
