I have dry cough last 4 Days. I had taken syrup but It does not work. So what I have to do?

I am suffering from cough from 3 days. Please suggest me which type of medicine is used for removing the cough.

Home Remdy- 1-Drink tea with basil leaves or add ginger and black pepper in it. 2-Salted hot water gargling also helps. Treatment- 1-Take 2-2 teaspoonful of pranacharya kasantak by mixing it in hot water twice daily. 2-Sitopaladi, praval and tankan bhasm churna taken with honey can also bring relief. .Consume this 3 to 4 times a day for relief from cough; Diet-stay away from cold drinks and milk when having cough.

I am 30 year old planning for pregnancy. I am taking thyrox100 from monday to thursday and thyrox 125 from friday to sunday but now I have consulted to a new doctor and he suggested me to take thyropace 90 instead of all this above medications. Now I do not understand what to do. Please suggest me?

Dear doctor, I have mild graves disease, I am taking methimazole for that, my age is 34 yrs, am female, disease went into remission in pregnancy and relapsed post partum, again I used methimazole 10 mg and slowly my dose was tapered to 5 mg and stopped, I went into remission for six months and again my tsh is 0.01, can I stay on medication for life, I don't want radioiodine.

May be you can try suitable dose to maintain TSH, T3, T4 in acceptable range and remain in remission for longer period. Some times correcting all associated nutritional deficiencies like VIT D, Calcium, Vit B12, Folic acid ,Vit D, HB may help in keeping you in remission for longer years.

Ya. Conceiving process is same but rule out if there is any hormonal abnormalities by your blood tests which is causing this scanty periods.

You can take complete bed rest. Warm water saline gargles twice or thrice a day. Steam inhalation regularly and if you don't improve in a couple of days then consult a good physician.

Dear........ Now seasons of viral infections. For fever can take tab. Paracetamol 500 mg twice a day after meal.and for cough can take syp. Brozedax 10 ml thrice a day after meal. pl. Go for Tests..mp,cbc.urine r/m,ns1,blood c/s. Never take asprin medicines. feel cold then cover body with warm cloths, avoid dust area, clean body, change cloths daily, change bed sheet daily, avoid stress.avoid non-veg.,avoid alcohol intake if smokes avoid also that. Cold sponging if get high fever. drink warm water, juice,green veg. Soups,lquid diets, dalia, take protein diets, tulsi leaf in tea or warm water, geloy juice, avoid cold area,cold things .i.e. ice creams, fast/junk foods, chinese foods,spicy foods, fat meal, take bed rest , You can also take tab. Tamiflu from govt. Hospitals.
