I have excessive hair fall for last two years, what might be the possible reasons.
Hi. It's normal to lose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regularly massage head and hair with coconut oil, almond oil (depending upon your scalp type) 1 to 3 times a week. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week. After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash.

To lose weight, you have to maintain an input-output ratio. Whatever food you eat contains the input calories which gives you the output calories in the form of energy. If your input calories is too much, you are likely to put on weight. The best way to lose weight is to exercise or spend the additional calories accumulated in your body in the form of fat. The other most important thing is to eat wisely. Try to cut down the excessive calories you are eating and make sure whatever you eat is healthy. Some tips to lose weight - 1. Have more fruits and vegetables than junk food and juices. 2. Avoid sugar as much as you can 3. Exercise 3-4 times a week. 4. Have an early dinner, preferably before 8 p. M. 5. Do not starve yourself. Eat small meals 5 times a day. 6. Have barley soup in dinner and avoid rice at night. 7. Drink lots of water daily.

You need laser treatment to help you remove the dark spots. Chemical peeling is also good. But do it with a good dermatologist.

Dark circles are sometimes Genetic in nature and sometimes they are developed because of damage to the blood vessels around the eyes. You should see a skin specialist and also take a healthy diet that is high in proteins vitamins and minerals. Working out or exercising will help restore the glow in the face.

Hello. My mother is 60 years old and she is having pain in her knees from past few days. We consulted the doctor and he suggested a sachet medicine named 'ezycart sachet . It has non vegetarian constituents as it has Red mark over the packet. Salt name is "Collagen Peptides" Can you please suggest me an alternative medicine / sachet with the same salt which is vegetarian . Also she is diabetic so please suggest something sugar free. Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Apply bhringraj oil on your scalp then give hot water fomentation. 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Take lots of proteins like soyabean. Egg white. Etc.avoid tea. Coffee.spicy food. Fermented food. Junk food. Apply only ayurvedic shampoo on your scalp. Do pranayama early morning.

For fair & glowing face: • Applying a mixture of cucumber and papaya with one teaspoon of each and with three teaspoon of oatmeal apply it for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse off with water . • Apply one teaspoon of honey for 30 minutes and wash it off . • Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi ( turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water . • Apply one teaspoon orange juice or take a piece of orange open it then apply that area for 5 minutes then rinse off it. • Apply one teaspoon of fuller ' s earth ( multani mitti ) add one spoon of rose water mix it apply it for 10 minutes. • Eat fruits daily and drink a glass of milk daily . • Mash half bnana mix it with 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and half teaspoon of sandalwood powder mix it well and make smooth paste apply it for 10 minutes then rinse off with water. • Save yourself from sunlight by covering your face with cloth or by using sunscreen lotion .

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Very glad to note that you left tobacco. But you should make sure that you sustain the effort. The moment you stop nicotine, your body starts the repair process.tar, carbon monoxide, other oxides, metals, ammonia etc will be removed from your system within a week. Within 6 months all the negative effects of tobacco use will be nullified. Take care.

Dear lybrate user, pimples/ acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which develops due to blocking of the hair follicles in skin. These blockages occur due to 4 abnormal processes: 1) excess sebum production due to androgens 2) excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation 3) infection of propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes) bacteria on the hair follicles 4) local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin. In order to stop the formation of pimples the aforesaid four causes should be terminated. Now the bitter truth is neither can you stop the overproduction of androgen or keratin protein nor can you stop the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals because all these processes takes place internally in your skin. However you can stop the accumulation of p. Acnes bacteria on your skin by preventing your skin from getting oily. Always keep a handkerchief with you whenever you go outside. You should wipe off the slightest amount of sweat from your face as soon as you perspire on entering your room from outside wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing face wash. Take a low carbohydrate diet. Do some exercise daily. Drink a lots of water to avoid constipation. Avoid pricking the pimples or popping the sebum as it may lead to black pigmentation & permanent scar formation. You can also take homoeopathic calcarea phos 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach also you can apply homoeopathic mother tincture berberis aquifolium q on the dark spots on your skin which are produced after the resolution of the pimples.

Dandruff can be controlled by - 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 6. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 7. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 8. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. 9. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from the body.

Dear lybrate-user. If there is no other physical reason for your low energy feeling, this should be psychological lethargy. This happens due to negative thinking and obsession about your own health. You may not habituated with hard work. This has to be changed. You have to change your attitude and should work hard to get the habit changed. You could need attitude altering therapy. Take care.

Don't concentrate and compare on the size of the penis and underwear in non erect position whatever size underwear is comfortable you have to wear that size only.

Pre diabetes is like sitting on a fence. You can fall in either direction. There is a good chance that you will not progress to diabetes if you control your diet and do regular exercise. There is always a possibility that you may develop diabetes some day... especially in stressful situations.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating.

Hello, there are different types of laser therapies (like nd-yag) for hair removal treatment which are available in the market. So, you can visit any of the dermatologist or the clinic/ hospitals which specialises in these treatments. Get it done from a renowned and an expert hands only. Frequent number of sittings are required for hair removal (single sitting is not sufficient) which is recommended as per the type of machine they do have and the indian and the type of hair & skin you have. The reslts vary from person to person and it makes the hair more thinner, finer like a vellus hair which is not much visible or noticable and the more importantly they become bleachable! rate depends upon the size of the area to be treated, the no. Of sittings required and the machine which would be used for this purpose. (e. G: may start from rs. 500-700 per sitting for upper lips area and so on).

Hello , Your oil glands produce too much oil, it might as well cause acne. Before that happens, -take bath twice a day, morning and then in night before sleeping. -use a non moisturising normal soap (not dove or creamy soap) and also use loofa to clean unnecessary sebum from your skin. -do not rub or scrub too much, do it softly. -sleep under a fan/AC or cooler to avoid sweating in the night. -wear washed clothes and change clothes before sleeping. This should help you. Take care.
