you should use these home remedies to maintain a proper skin tone. Drink 10 to 12 glasses of water daily ,take healthy nutritious diet. Follow the below home remedy to get soft hydrated skin:- The lactic acid present in milk cream helps exfoliate dry skin. The soothing nature of milk cream also helps preserve the skin’s delicate pH levels. Milk cream is also an excellent moisturizer. Mix a few drops of lemon juice, one teaspoon of milk and two teaspoons of milk cream. Rub it on *your hands and legs. Leave it on for a while before you take a shower. Do this once daily. Add enough milk cream to three to four tablespoons of gram flour to make a thick paste. Apply the paste on your face, hands and legs. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Do this once daily..

How to Grow Hair

You may lose 50 to 100 strands of hair each day. Yet the thinning of your scalp hair is almost unnoticeable owing to the simultaneous new hair growth filling up the bald spots. But hair loss occurs if this cycle of shedding and growth gets distorted. Stress and an unhealthy lifestyle take a toll on your hair as well.
 

The following is a list of the types of hair loss that are caused due to high levels of stress:

  • The body secretes hormones such as non-adrenaline or Norepinephrine and cortisol in response to stress. These hormones force a large number of hair follicles into a static phase, hindering new hair growth. As a consequence, simple activities such as combing or rinsing the hair might cause hair fall in large strands which do not get replaced by new hair again. This abnormality is known as Telogen effluvium .
  • Trichotillomania is a condition characterized by one pulling out his/her own strands of hair forcefully; most often triggered by negative thoughts or other psychological disorders such as depression or excessive frustration, boredom, stress or tension. 
  • Alopecia areata is a condition caused by severe stress wherein the immune system of the body attacks the hair follicles, results.

Other lifestyle-related factors can also have an adverse impact on the hair growth. Let us see how:

  • Excessive hair styling or hair treatments with hot oil actually swell up the hair follicles. Chemical therapies, dyes, flat irons, blow dryers or bad brushes as well as a range of hair dressing techniques such as hair extension, application of coloring agents, gels and hair sprays further affect the individual strands of hair.
  • A junk food diet rich in salt, sugar and saturated fats but less in essential nutrient content can tremendously affect your hair.
  • Smoking inhibits blood flow to the hair follicles and interrupts the process of hair growth and hair fall.

Environmental factors such as pollution from:

  • Car exhaust fumes disrupt the keratin (protein formation) in the hair structure, making it fragile.
  • Cigarette smoke contains carcinogens that weaken one s hair follicles.
  • Dust particles trigger allergies giving way to inflammation or scalp infections.
  • Over exposure to the sun causes brittle, dry and lifeless hair, mainly characterized by split ends.

Due to over weight you have hormonal imbalance causing period and breast problems. You have to lose weight by avoiding junk food. If your period cycle is less than 35 days interval then it is normal, even if dates change but if is more than 35 days interval, then to detect the cause you need to do some blood tests and ultrasound of pelvis. Breast pain is a common problem if it occurs before periods, because it happens due to hormonal changes, however if the pain stays all through the month or if you can feel some lump/swelling then you may need to do ultrasound examination of breasts. Wearing a well fitting bra may help and restrict salt and water intake during pains.

Eat small frequent meals. Avoid all oily and fatty food. Avoid ghee, butter and oils. Decrease salt and sugar. Always eat half of what your body demands.

Hello, If pregnancy is ruled out then get evaluated for PCOS, hypothyroidism or hyperprolactinemia before a progesterone withdrawal can be opted for. Ipill should not be taken.

Hi, by improving your digestive system, you can increase your weight. 1. You must focus on getting the maximum nutrition out of the food that you are eating and digest that. These may give you some improvement, but to have better results, you may go in for laser treatment or derma roller treatment. Also consume vitamin c containing fruits as they improve collagen in skin.

First of all you should follow some basic thing 1. Avoid=hot and cold at time 2. Less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3. Do not drink water after meal drink at the time of meal sip by sip up to 150 ml 4. Avoid late night sleep 5. Avoid to eat spicy food, besan, bekary food, overeating, junk food. 6. Every 3 day in month eat mung dal and rice for whole day.

Dr, my periods are irregular from starting. Now I am 30 years married. And want to conceive. Whenever I took regestrone 5 mg then only the periods starts. I am trying to conceive from last year.in october I stopped regestrone 5 mg. After that my periods come in January 2017 for 1 and half day only.

Hi, You are suffering from irregular menstrual syndrome.Try to normalize before you conceive.Infertility is defined as a couple's inability to become pregnant within one year of unprotected intercourse. Generally, the highest chance of pregnancy is when sex happens 1-2 days before ovulation. If you have a regular 28-day cycle, count back 14 days from when you expect your next period to start. Plan on having sex every other day around that time -- say, days 12 and 14. Try to regular it and take chance as per advice.

B12 Deficiency: Deficiency of B12 has also been linked to premature greying of hair. 3. Your diet must include a glass of juice (any juice), fresh fruits and a full serving of salads at EVERY meal: cucumber, tomato, carrot, beetroot, radish, onion slices or spring onion, raw cauliflower , cabbage leaf, sprouted seeds etc. Add other greens I hv not mentioned. All this is essential to give you a balanced nutrient boost. Cut out any JUNK FOOD and AERATED drinks totally. Generally foods that come out of a packet, or tin can, or bottle shud be avoided. Exercise to increase circulation:- 2 mins of hard exercise then 1 min rest - do this four times a day. You can either do it all in one go or split it into sessions through the day. In total it is only 12 mins a day so should not be a big issue. A very useful exercise is to jump in one place simulating skipping. Build up your time to 2 mins. of jumping. The benefits of this is ungaugeable, and cannot be explained medically as yet, it effects the entire body. In conclusion, live and eat healthy and you will develop energy, a glowing skin and a healthy 'go' in life -regardless of age. In todays urban atmosphere, exercise indoors unless you live in rural areas or in the hills...otherwise buy electrical air purifiers, put it on full and exercise in front of it.

In majority of the cases irregular menses are accredited to hormonal imbalance, but in some cases it may be pathological and secondary to some pathology of ovaries mostly. Now if you want to regularized the menses then you must establish permanent balanced first and this can be achieved only with homoeopathy, because in modern medicine we get only a hormonal support with a very temporary relief. But with homoeopathy you can strike the hormonal balance permanently which later on also give you regular menses even if you stop the medicine.

Hello everyone . I am a student. I am suffering from over thinking. I think all the time. When I study or read news paper for sometime reading goes well but after a while I lose in thinking and I don't know about it that I am thinking something. This has been happening with me for 2-3 years. When I walk or traveling by bus, due to thinking I forget to stop where I want. When I write notes in classes same spelling on same page I write wrong because of thinking. This year I appeared in upsc examination, my preparation is good for examination, just before examination night I didn't sleep because "if I will fail then what will happen" this thinking was in mind and the whole night I didn't sleep, this is not stopped here same things happened before my GATE examination. For avoiding this over thinking I tried meditation but I didn't continued it after 20 -21 days. I am very worried about it. I am not living in present. I think always about future like" what will happen " and past" why this happened or if it is not happened then what will be happened? I want to get rid from this hell.

Hello Lybrate user...What you are suffering from are excessive ruminations and worrying thoughts about future. This is a common problem for today's youngster population like you as the competition level has increased. This decreases a person's efficiency, concentration and outcome from work or studies as in your case. Yoga you have tried but you did not continue, which I suppose was because of not being interesting. I propose to you MINDFULNESS THERAPY as the management plan. It is a very effective way to get ourselves living in the present and increases our efficiency and concentration, while decreases stress also. It will help you to live each and every moment of your life being fully aware. The other thing which you can do is that while you are studying you try to gain a place with full silence, away from all gadgets and social sites. Also try to plan your studies before you start. The plan should be such that you keep less number of hours per day in the beginning and as the days pass through you increase the reading hours. Say for example 2 hours a day for initial 1 week, than 3 hours a day the next week and so on until you reach the optimal time. The ultimate concept is not to make studying a burden by starting with long study hours from beginning, rather keep your interest moving gradually by slowly increasing the duration of study and gaining pace. Ways to lose body fat: food - eat low calorie balanced & nutritious food. Avoid too much of oil & suagar in daily diet. Avoid bakery items, cold drinks, fruit juices. Drink 3-4 ltrs of water. Avoid too much of tea & coffee. Exercise: daily exercise is must to get a fit body. Walk/jog/swim/cycling. Rest: sleep for 6-7 hours. Learn meditation.

1. Masturbation is a normal way of relieving sexual tension. 2. It is, not harmful if done in moderation, preferably 2-3 times a week. 3. Excess indulgence may cause physical problem like weakness, tiredness, loss of memory, lack of energy, lack of concentration, behavioural disorder, stress, depression, and sexual problem like erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, testicular pain, decrease sperm count. Etc 4. Consult sexologist for further advice.

Does your job involve sitting for longer hours?
