please check your relaxing posture in bed, you are not resting your neck On hard board of bed head or correct your sleeping posture avoid too much neck down work on computers

Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation. Piriformis stretch 1. Lie on your back. 2. Cross your left leg over your right so that your left ankle rests on your right knee. 3. Use your hands to grab hold of your left knee and pull it gently toward the opposite shoulder. 4. Hold for 15 to 30 seconds. 5. Relax, and then repeat with the other leg. 6. Repeat this cycle 2 to 4 times.

Dear lybrate user, I am surprised that why you did not take the treatment at the time of fracture. You may apply at present arnica q ruta q mixed in equal qty. Thrice a day. Also take ruta 10 m five drops on your tounge direct thrice a day only. One dz. Of arnica 30 five drops in the morning you should take with water for three day.

Hello sir.As your age suggest there would be arthritic changes in the joint. If you are getting pain then stop all exercise and try to get pain free shoulder.Application of hot n cold towel thrice a day will be useful.

Apply any oil like coconut or til or castor oil on the area of pain after making the oil like warm .. Leave for 20 min followed by pouring of hot water in the affected area for about 15 min

Hello- knee and mostly all joints are supplied by a kind of lubricating fluid called as synovial fluid to prevent the friction between two bones of the joint. With the progressing age, the amount of fluid gets decrease or altered and hence causes increased friction between the bones in joint and causes pain and inflammation.

Neck advice hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck exercises. Neck stretching. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Core strengthening exercises. Take frequent breaks at work use cervical pillow. Use back support. Back advice. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Hey guys! I'm a 16 years old male! So here's the story, looking to keep it as short as possible! I'verecently had this hamstring, glutes injuries around 3-4 months ago. It all started by me doing squats with the squatting machine in the gym. It was my first time doing it and with my stubborn head I've put as much weight on the machine as I could possibly lift. I didn't feel it then but the next day I could barely walk. Which was understandable but, in the following week it didn't get much better. And when I actually thought it was going to get better, it gradually got worse over time. Maybe because I started doing bodyweight exercises such as normal squats then few weeks later tuck jumps. I also recently started doing stretches for my legs. Butit doesn't seem to help. I used to put oil on my leg (Oil that muay thai fighter use) and it didn't seem to help either. Then of course I stopped doing the squats and any sort of exercises for my legs. It's only my right hamstring that is affected and the right side of my glutes which ispretty weird. I really don't know what to do. Also, my leg isn't swollen or you couldn't really tell if you'd look at my leg that it's messed up. It's particularly sore when I do sit ups, for example, when I lock my feet under a bed and then try to do a sit up. It's also really sore when I try to touch my toes with straight legs and when I sit down, straighten my legs and try to touch my toes then. It's a little sore when I just walk too.

My husband is 34 years now and was operated for brain tumor (right side) on dec 2013. He was disabled on left arm and left leg. Now has regained shoulder movement and left leg movement partially. Left arm fingers can be closed but he is unable to open them or use for any activity. He continues his physio and ergo therapy. How far will his healing take and how much of his movement be regained. Dear Lybrate user Start some streching exercise of back and leg muscles. It will relax the muscle. Take hot water formentation. Back muscle are going to stiff only that causes pain. When position change you feel pain as sitting from chair or table to standing position. Because basic muscle involves to perform that activity. Its may be due to sedentary lifestyle or less physical workouts like cycling, running,walking, etc.

For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

You will have to elaborate your problem as to a detailed discussion of your neck pain which means duration of pain and mode of onset. I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any radiating upper limb pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias (electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. Please also tell me about any associated symptoms like fever, weight loss etc. What medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. Kindly send me what investigations like x rays etc have you done, what doctors prescription you have so that I can understand what has been done for you till now and prescribe accordingly. Hi. Is there any history of injury or hurt to the area? any underlying medical condition? the pain in legs can be because of - muscle cramps (due to tiredness or dehydration), shin splints (doing activity over and over on hard surfaces can bring this on. You may also be more likely to get shin splints if you have flat feet or your feet turn outward. Rest your legs to feel better. Ice helps), tendinitis (you can get it from overworking the calf muscle or climbing the stairs, apply ice to get some relief), sprains (do rest, ice, compression & elevation). Other causes are varicose veins, arterial disease, sciatica, diabetic neuropathy. Medication: meantime, take homoeopathic medicines - arnica 200 and rhus tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply schwabe's topi-arnica and topi mp gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. And wrap crepe bandage over it. Get back to me thereafter. For dry foot skin: apply schwabe's aloe vera cream immediately after bathing, use schwabe's skin care soap.
