Dear lybrate user, I understand that you are in a very difficult situation. I see that you are worried about your family life and your own habits. All human beings need love and care. Since you are staying away from your family, I guess you picked up these habits (maturbation and pan masala) because probably you were feeling lonely and needed some bodily pleasures. Please understand that pan masala can be addictive and a prolonged use may cause cancer. Masturbation is healthy when it is done to relieve your intense sexual urge. But maturbation as a habit or when done under compulsion, is harmful. If you do not control you mind, you will start maturbating more frequently but may not have the same pleasure everytime. Once you get used to the self pleasure, when you come back on leave you will not be able to enjoy sex with your wife. Hence, please try to control maturbation - initially reduce it to once a day, then may be once in 2 - 3 days and later on only when you have intense sexual urge. Watching porn is also very harmful for your marriage. What is shown in porn videos is not true in real life. If you expect similar sexual acts in your bed room, it is not possible. Sex is a physical need. And for human beings, when two partners are physically and emotionally connected, sex is pleasurable. Over exposure to violent sexual acts will make you disinterested in sex later on. It may also cause guilt and shame and aversion to sex. So to avoid both these habits try to do some activities which are healthy, like start some physical exercise, go for walk, cycling etc. If possible learn some yoga/pranayama. This will help you in relieving your physical and mental stress. If you have faith in your religion then start some rituals that you believe in. More importantly, please try to understand that this job is keeping you away from your family and you are deprived of some basic needs like love and care. You also mentioned that you live without food sometimes. In such situation, you may think about other job options in india. There are so many people who work here. Try to find out jobs suitable for your skills. May be you can just start something on your own. I understand that you are very keen to have a baby. But it is a huge responsibility. So first, make a good emotional connect with your wife, have some future plans together. Your child will need his/her father, please remember that. So think rationally. Take care.

heel pain and treatment

MSPT (Master of Physical Therapy)
Physiotherapist, Indore
heel pain and treatment
Heel pain?
Heel pain is a very common foot complaint and may involve injury to the bone, fat pad, ligaments, tendons or muscles. Heel pain can also be referred by a pinched nerve in your lower back.

It is important to have your heel pain thoroughly assessed to ensure an accurate diagnosis and subsequent treatment.

Anyone can suffer from heel pain, but certain groups seem to be at increased risk, including:

Middle aged men and women
Active people eg running sports
People who are very overweight
Children aged between 8 and 13 years
Pregnant women
People who stand for long periods of time.
Common sources of heel pain
Achilles tendon rupture
Achilles tendonitis / tendinitis
Fibromyalgia
Heel spur
High ankle sprain
Lupus
Muscle strain (muscle pain)
Overuse injuries
Peroneal tendonitis
Pinched nerve
Plantar fasciitis
Psoriatic arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis
Severs disease
Shin splints
Sprained ankle
Stress fracture feet
Common causes of heel pain?
Some of the many causes of heel pain can include:

Abnormal walking style (such as rolling the feet inwards)
Obesity
Ill-fitting shoes eg narrow toe, worn out shoes
Standing, running or jumping on hard surfaces
Recent changes in exercise program
Heel trauma eg. Stress fractures
Bursitis (inflammation of a bursa)
Health disorders, including diabetes and arthritis.
Heel pain treatment
Most heel pain is caused by a combination of poor biomechanics, or muscle weakness or tightness. The good news is that heel pain can be effectively managed once the cause is identified.

Most heel pain can be successfully treated via:

Pain and pressure relief techniques
Biomechanical correction eg orthotics, taping, foot posture exercises
Muscle stretches and massage
Lower limb muscle strengthening
Proprioceptive and balance exercises to stimulate your foot intrinsic muscles.
If you feel that your footwear or sports training schedule are potentially causing your heel pain, then we recommend that you seek the advice of a sports physiotherapist, podiatrist or trained footwear specialist (not just a shop assistant) to see if your shoe is a match for your foot; or discuss your training regime to see if you are doing too much.

Heel pain and injury are extremely common. With accurate assessment and early treatment most heel pain injuries respond extremely quickly to physiotherapy allowing you to quickly resume pain-free and normal activities of daily living.

Please ask you physiotherapist for their professional treatment advice.

If you are suffering from scabies, follow the advice given below 1. Apply 5% permethrin cream liberally into all skin surfaces from the neck to toes at bed time and rinse off in the morning 2. Take one tablet of levocetrizine at bed time for itching 3. Wash all clothes/towel/bedding in hot water and dry in hot dryer/sun expsure 4. If symptoms persist, repeat the treatment after a week.
